Met a girl who has been working on a restaurant for mere 200$ a month with some tips in hand. It is normal for national bank to give warning to their citizen not to engage in crypto currencies specially if they are newbie in trading business. for this year we saw how bitcoin price drop from its all time high and lot of newbies have loss their investment for buying during the bitcoins peak price and now these newbies who loss patience and confidence where selling their bitcoin for a loss. |

I Joined the same time as you. I made a big mistake not taking profit at the correct time. Almost all the coins found new ATH during that time but at that time I hope coins continually climb the higher. But it is not happened and market crashed several weeks. I didn't sell anything. But this bear market still not over. I think next bull rally will start next May. Until that we might see ranging market 4000 - 12000 USD per BTC.
most of us who joined in crypto between august 2017 to early 2018 suffered a major setback. but this may a good learning experience so we can prepare in the future that if this same situation happen again we can have our exit plan ahead |

Dont worry if you are holding good quality altcoins in your portfolio you will be just fine ,im sure you didnt lose a lot since january because you have said that 2/3 of your portfolio is down it means your coins has quality because if these coins are shitcoins probably you are quitting right now because you can have 90-95% losses in shitcoins.

Hello every one i just joined last august 2017 and during those time almost all coins are going upward bitcoin lead the way for a record breaking run up but after that bullish market we are here right now where bearish market hurting our portfolio i almost lost 2/3 of my investment but still i keep holding and confident that anytime soon bearish market is over and bullish market will take place again. would you think this bearish season will take longer?
bearish crypro market sucks investment of all newbie who started bitcoin last december 2017 though the return orcearnings here is far bigger than regular trading market of any country the risk here is also very high you xan lost all your investment in just a week if you dont know how to take care of your coins. |

Until now I saw ICO and other crypto coins posting ads in facebook this was only for paid advertisement which keep pop every time you open your facebook. though this may affect temporarily the crypto market but with the coverage of social media there is no doubt that Crypto coins can find alternative way to promote their coins soon. |

Technically speaking, is it possible to have one wallet for all cryptocurrencies?
It is such a big pain that we have to use o many wallets if we want to trade many altcoins.
For private wallet i guess its hard to create an application that can store all crypto coins considering each coins has its own common list of rules that need to be satisfied and may unique to other coins like ERC20 coins has different rules than bitcoin same as XRP, Cardano and other independen coins |

what's your proof then ? don't you see how bitcoin and other crypro coins surge in 2017? everyone would not believe bitcoin price from 1k+$ surge to almost 20k$ and all of a sudden it drops again to more than half and this scenario was been experience before every time bitcoin break out there is a major correction followed and it does not take 2years to recover. with many people are getting envolved in bitcoin and campanies adoption as mide of payment there is no doubt that this 2018 we will see a huge break out for bitcoin. |

A lot of people do trading even if they don't know nothing about it and some people succeed on that but most of them failed.
One of the reason why I think they do that, is because of GREED which can result to a big loss for them.
Start with education, make a lot of research, do some practice trading online
and use it later on in real life. Don't rush to earn money because in trading its hard to do so.

Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

if i am on that situation i would suggest to sell 50% ofcmy coin and if on the next day it increase again i will sell another 50% of the remaining with a quick price surge expect that there is also a major correction so if that happen i can buy back to a more lower price. thats only my opinion i know it hard if you are already in that sitaution. but selling a portion of your hold can secure your profit |
