Going to wait until users positively reply that they received theirs.
Also on what name are they registered since some companies want the name + CC info and check if they fit.

PoS blocks will be generated if the stake is held for more than 5-10 days.
Okay...so my first deposits were on 7/29 (~850 PHS is all) and my stake is still at zero. That means they'll start popping up within one day max then, correct? I was mining at phs.minar.cc for the first few days after I started...which completely killed my take. After switching to solo on 8/2 I was pulling in about 4 times as much PHS/hash. I would like to know why, because on my other pools people are getting better results on the pool than solomining. Are the other pools also coins with a short block interval?

That still leaves the house being able to cheat by knowing all the cards and telling the players which cards they have. I'm not sure we can do anything about that. It's the same problem with dice sites. The owners (who know the server seeds) can play as a player and win or lose the game on purpose.
Yes, and that is a problem when the money of the 'house' is not involved. I couldn't care less if Stunna plays his own game, but dooglus playing JD and I will refrain from visiting that site. Also I forgot about the part where you have to be able to muck your cards... I will think about this today and hopefully come up with a way (just woke up so had problems understanding your text)

More annoying: the emailaddress of your Inputs.io account must be the same as your coinlenders account.
This is a security measure, so even if someone got into your CL account they can't do much other than send it to your inputs wallet. I understand that people feel annoyed that they have to sign up for an Inputs wallet if they don't already have one, but inputs is needed - it does a lot of maintenance in the background like sharding for redundancy (remember back then when occasionally CL will return a blank page?) and the custom patches to bitcoind. Wouldn't it be easier to just do that maintenance on the Coinlenders website side and just share the code with Inputs.io than require everyone who uses Coinlenders get a Inputs.io account? I mean, you run both sites, why is it better to have that maintenance with Inputs.io than Coinlenders.com? Because now he only has to do the maintenance once for ALL sites he owns (not just CL).

Wish I could play, but too poor..
Then go to #arena on coinchat. Lower betting amounts. Also, someone play today! I'm guessing you're the current champ. Maybe they can give prizes for top several on the leaderboad. I'm the current champ on BitArena. I hardly play on #arena because the stakes are too low.

Gah, no i don't have anything i could use really.. next time i guess i'll be sure to have some collateral before asking for a loan. Yeah man, gone are the days where one could just pop in and ask for a quick 500 BTC loan and actually get it. It seems like only yesterday The good old days when you could get BTC from #bitcoin if you asked You still get it there. Just start up bitcoind with the magic -testnet parameter and they will help you out with actual bitcoins, directly in your QT client.

I see you implemented Inputs.io but how will you know who paid what since there is no sign up on your site and there is not a specific ID put into the transaction note field.
All to be revealed in good time So I should not pay you money via Inputs right now?
|
|
|
Well I'm more than willing but it just doesn't make sense to send something through mail that will get there after I've already paid them back... Is there anything else I could do for collateral? Could I give like personal information or something?
I cannot sell your personal information to recoup my investment should you default. So it is not collateral. You can sell personal information, it's just not worth anything near 1.25BTC.

The stake shares show up as "Mined" in the client? Because I'm not mining this for over a week now and I suddenly got "Mined" amounts in, with weird unrounded numbers.

But your hand hasn't been washed in ages so how can you know what's below all dirt?
Also: Care for some pizza delivered to your home right now?

how long has inputs.to wallet been required? now i can't deposit without making a new wallet
Annoying, right? More annoying: the emailaddress of your Inputs.io account must be the same as your coinlenders account. I always use [nameofsitehere]@[oneofmydomains] as emailaddress, so I had coinlenders@... for coinlenders and inputs@... for Inputs So I sent money from Inputs to CoinLenders. Pooof gone. Luckily TF refunded me quickly.

Even though 'provably fair shuffling' != provably fair, That is true, but as I said: if you implement this it is impossible for you to deal yourself a Royal Flush and get away with it. People would quickly look up the hashes and see that they don't match and know that you tampered with the shuffling. Of course at that moment everyone lost their money already but at least it is proven that it was rigged. Right now you can deal anyone whatever you like and nobody will know.

On a slightly related note, has anyone had trouble linking their PayPal account to BTCJam? I try, and it looks like it works, but Paypal still has a red no beside it
Is your PayPal verified?

Ok, how do you fairly shuffle a deck, and provably show a player's own cards are fairly drawn, without showing other player's cards or hands? Poker specifically has this problem.
As I explained in my post: Fisher-Yates shuffle, create a string out of the deck, hash it. Show the hash beforehand, the entire deck afterwards. Did you read my post?
