261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 15, 2023, 04:15:40 AM
Some people say the same thing that PSG should focus on League 1 instead of the Champions League, but I still hope for a record-breaking surprise like last season when Manchester City won the Champions League trophy.
but I don't know where the problem is, even when the 3 football superstars were at PSG at that time, they continued to fail to reach the top of the UCL. Maybe because at that time there were 3 stars, their focus was even more divided and they were not good at it. Sometimes, solidity in the club when competing is also very decisive. Moreover, the tactics they implemented at that time were not able to defeat their opponents well. And this season, it looks like it will still be difficult for PSG to set a record like Man City. Man City was clear about its strength last season, even this season. Not only do they have the monster Haalland, but they also have many talented and potential players who are solid in every match. They also played very consistently and strongly in all their lines. However, PSG was different. Moreover, if Mbappe leaves PSG, this will greatly reduce the strength of their front line, of course.
Having a bunch of stars doesn't guarantee a thing in a competitive league especially Champions League. Neymar missed so many games, Messi adaptation was hard, Mbappe was the key to victory for PSG. That's what the team was all about.
No need to cite many examples but you can look how much Messi was successful in a league like MLS and how Al-Nassr lost their first matches in Saudi Pro League. Tactics are fondamental and good management guarantee success.

Paris had built a good squad and on paper they had the best squad in Europe. They looked even stronger than Manchester City with their pre-Haaland squad. However, events do not end on paper. Even though you have very good stars, football is a sport played on the field. They need to look at the fact that Paris could not win the UCL championship despite all their stars and carefully examine the areas where they need to improve themselves.

That's right, PSG should focus on League 1 instead of the Champions League. They are in the group of death in the Champions League this season. There will be no surprises. PSG is placing all responsibility on Mbappé. If he gets injured, no one can shoulder the burden for the team. Mbappé is shouldering that huge responsibility alone at PSG. No one makes sense to join him as a duo this season, just like Man City has the perfect team, De Bruyne and Haaland.

We should praise the Dortmund club. They must improve the profitability of player sales to maintain the team's existence without significant sponsors. Dortmund has made a profit from the 2023 Summer transfer period. They sold the team's most valuable star, Jude Bellingham, for more than 100 million euros to Real Madrid, bringing it back from Birmingham City for only 25 million euros. Dortmund will continue to bring in good and cheap names like Ramy Bensebaini and Marcel Sabitzer... To make profit.
Can you look at the big clubs in Europe? They are gradually weakening as their funding slowly dries up. They will sell their players to Saudi Arabian clubs to maintain the team. It's just a matter of time. Many clubs even have to deal with Qatari owners because there is insufficient funding to develop the unit.
It must be admitted that Dortmund always maintains team consistency even though they always sell their star players and can continue to look for other talents so that they have been getting profits from selling players for a long time, and here what plays an important role is their talent search team which is always able to get talented players at a cheap price.
However, it is a bit unfortunate because the Dortmund team never thought about achieving achievements, they have always been Bayern's shadow in the Bundesliga.

Yes, they are still the shadow of Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. But they still have to continue to do that to maintain the team and make a profit from buying and selling players. They should move on and try to do better than that. One day, sponsors will see the potential of this club, and they will invest. Dortmund are just a team with a slight name in the Champions League. Investors still cannot see their potential.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia will ban Gambling through credit cards on: September 14, 2023, 06:02:16 AM
The reason why Australia has a bill banning the use of credit cards for gambling: Australia is currently one of the largest betting markets in the world. Australians spend more money than citizens of many other countries on online gambling. Like many other countries that have legalized gambling, the Australian Government faces a complex and persistent battle against money laundering in online gambling. Casinos in Australia are among the businesses most commonly used as fronts by money launderers. The fact that the Australian government will ban gambling via credit cards shows that they are cracking down on money laundering.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: On Apple's $200 billion dump and US shooting itself in the foot on: September 14, 2023, 03:29:26 AM
This is normal when China bans the use of iPhones for government-backed agencies and companies. The reason they gave was national security concerns. We have seen the US stifle important Chinese phone company Huawei for the same reason.
Come up with a hypothesis that if China bans its people from using it and stops companies from manufacturing in their country, Apple cannot die. They only lost part of it. That means they are challenging America. I believe they are not strong enough to resist the sanctions that the US will respond to. But looking back, US production now depends heavily on goods from China. This is also their dilemma.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do we benefit in lies in forum on: September 13, 2023, 12:32:20 PM

And again, this is a forum where people can earn, especially by participating in signatures. So many income members are just here to earn; not all of them are here to learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general, but their main purpose for being in the forum is to earn, and to do that, they always look for any way to get merits so that they can just rank up their accounts in time and start taking part in signatures.

Completely agree with what you said, because this is a forum that can make money so people will use all means including lying to get what they want. But from your statement, I also question, can the forum maintain this number of members without the signature campaign? Although people always say they come here to gain knowledge, I don't believe that is their only purpose. Just like me, of course I will learn good things from everyone here but I also cannot deny that I also want to make money here.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 13, 2023, 05:39:53 AM
I don't like people after losing gambling. They take their anger out on friends, family, and work. They are so selfish. I hate people like that. In life, they seem to have no responsibility for what they cause. They think doing so will put their mind at ease. But that's wrong. They are gradually ruining their lives with those small sadnesses. Lost money can be earned back. I just hope they can master themselves in this gambling game.
Never really thought of this but you are quite correct, and my guess is that, majority of gamblers are guilty of this attitude, most especially, those with family.

But then again, speaking for myself now, I can not deny the fact that there are times I've lost money in gambling and then faced my family with the anger, but one thing you must understand is that, many of us would not want to do such, but then we can just help it, most especially when you ask to be left alone, but children and wifey won't stop disturbing you  Grin, you understand the angle I am coming from .

Yes, I understand what you said. Because I am someone who has gone through those stages. I tried to suppress my emotions. I told my wife the story of my gambling loss to share my sadness. As for my little child, I use the excuse that I'm at work, so I don't bother myself anymore. The best thing is that I played with them to forget those losses. Because I know that once love is lost, it cannot be regained.
The issue of winning or losing in gambling is something we do and decide for ourselves. The people around us will not be at fault in this story. So if you lose, accept it.

Dortmund often has to sell their talented players because they don't have enough money even though they're really good at developing stars like Bellingham and Haaland. Even if they get more money they might still lose their best players because other teams offer them a lot of money. Dortmund is good at playing against strong teams like Bayern Munich and in the Champions League. But winning trophies might still be hard for them. What special about Dortmund is that they are really good at helping young players grow and that something to appreciate.
True. People didn't even wanna try to read dortmund's financial report to know about the truth. The club's yearly expenses consumed a lot of money raised from selling the players. Dortmund was even facing loss during 2021/2022.
Selling a lot of players didn't mean if the club would be going to be rich but there are so many things that need to be done by the club. The financial report has been fully explaining about where the money raised from selling the players are going on.
Playing tax is also becoming one of the biggest outcome from dortmund by selling the players.

We should praise the Dortmund club. They must improve the profitability of player sales to maintain the team's existence without significant sponsors. 268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 12, 2023, 11:37:25 PM
The Italian Anti-Doping Agency announced that Paul Pogba's doping test is positive and he is now suspended until they say.
The last year, Paul Pogba was mostly injured and, to be honest, he couldn't help the team at all and now this time his doping test is positive and this is another problem for this palyer and the team.
I think there is even a high chance for Juventus to release this player.

This is extremely awful for both the team and the player himself, despite the fact that Paul Pogba's contribution to the team has declined significantly as a result of his lengthy injury. As the drug test result was positive, his football career could be over. If the club released him and he also faced the adverse effects of this in his career. By the time he returns, he may have little or nothing to offer any team, I could just as easily say this is the end of his football career.

Paul Pogba could be banned from playing for up to 4 years after his sample tested positive for a banned substance. This player will only have his sentence reduced if he can prove that he did not intentionally use prohibited substances. After leaving MU to join Juventus with a 4-year contract, Paul Pogba continuously encountered terrible luck. He has been constantly tormented by injuries, leading to him rarely playing. In addition, Pogba also has to miss the 2022 World Cup with the French team. Pogba is 30 years old this year. If the suspension of up to 4 years is actual, it means the end of his career.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 12, 2023, 11:17:45 PM
I am growing tired of this news, if Mbappe is to move to Real Madrid he should just make the move right away, same with PSG who also have not decided on what to do with Mbappe. This is a deal I fully support and want to happen though I had big expectations for this summer’s transfer window for unfortunately the deal wasn’t possible now I have to wait and anticipate for January window and see if finally this deal can be pushed through.
I think Real Madrid will move quickly to bring in Mbappe in the winter transfer window because the depth of the Real Madrid squad really needs a truly aggressive striker to be their goal machine. Joselu performed well but he will not be able to make a big contribution like Benzema has done so Real Madrid will have to look for another striker in the January transfer window.

Moreover, this season Champions League competition is quite fierce because the Manchester City team is already very strong and if Real Madrid is unable to bring in quality stickers in the winter transfer window then the target of winning the UCL top could fail again this season.

PSG and Real Madrid need more time to come to an agreement that both sides are happy with. When PSG spent too much money on Mbappé, they could not sell Mbappé cheaply, and they wanted a reasonable amount of money to continue recruiting a high-class striker to replace Mbappé. Meanwhile, Real Madrid wants to buy him cheaply or intends to take Mbappé without paying a transfer fee for this deal.
Mbappé is in trouble as the future is unclear where his new home will be. It would be best if he clearly defined it. A player only develops when he is in a long-term united team.

271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 11, 2023, 01:52:19 PM
We know the Saudi teams usually try to get what they want by spending too much money and every palyer usually gets attracted when they spend a huge amount of money, They tried to hire Salah from Liverpool but they failed, however Sauids was really close to having the agreement but in the end, Salah tried in Liverpool. Now the next project will be Lewandowski who is a goal-scoring machine in Barcelona and I'm sure Barcelona will not lose this player easily even in the next summer when he gets older.

Salah was interested in a move, but Liverpool did not agree due to the fact that they obviously did not have an adequate replacement for this player. Maybe by next summer they will find a replacement and then sell him for a profit. Lewandowski will be 36 next summer, I think Barcelona will get rid of him easily because even now his performance is far from what was expected when he moved to Barcelona.

It is likely that Lewandowski will end his career at Barcelona where he and his family feel very comfortable. Currently, I see he is still hungry for titles. Lewandowski did not take any action to show that he wanted to leave Barcelona. Lewandowski craves titles more than Saudi Arabia's money.
Indeed, after his contract with Barcelona ended, he wondered if he wanted to continue playing. He would think again if there were any offers from Saudi Arabia then.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin obsession! on: September 11, 2023, 12:54:22 PM
Call me crazy but the way I think is different from many others, there is good obsession and bad obsession, you can be obsessed with something that will take your life and you can be obsessed with something that will build your life.

Addiction to investment is better than Addiction to lust, you can lose money and you can make money, but with lust you can lose your life, lots of infections here and there, you can end up with HIV and STDs.

Addiction to Bitcoin investment is also different from addiction to gambling, my advice is to know what you will get addicted to, I always watch myself carefully with gambling because I don't want to get addicted to it, but it's not the same with Bitcoin addiction.

Bitcoin is more reliable than gambling, one is more risky and damaging than the other, Choose wisely.

That's actually a good point, but addiction is addiction it might sounds good since in Bitcoin you could profit and earn money but for sure being addicted to it will cost something in your life like your health, you are way too focused in BTC that you forgot to eat, rest and exercise things like that.

Due to being addicted to it losing some money and doesn't have funds to invest would lead to selling properties or loan so when worse case scenario happened, it would eventually lead to lose of life like suicide. I think you're preferring about it as a hobby but don't call it as an addiction because there would be a negative side effect
Addiction to good things, especially those things that are promising or profitable is not bad at all, only that people view addiction in the negative aspect which makes them generalize it as bad. Talking about addiction in relation to your advice, there is nothing much it will do to health and general well-being. I can speak in that capacity because I've been addicted to trading for almost 2 decades now, but it has not affected any aspect of my life since it's profitable. This could be technically argued to be hard work in some spheres as well, and once you love doing it and you consistently see positive results and hope, you will rather enjoy it than affecting you whatsoever.

You need to distinguish between addiction and passion, why doesn't anyone call it drug passion or gambling passion? Calling it addiction means it will always be accompanied by bad and negative things, but if you want to praise someone, you should use the word passion. When you describe someone with words associated with addiction, no one will judge that person as a good person. Addiction is never good, whether it's investing or anything in this world.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank vs Crypto: Are they opposites? on: September 11, 2023, 12:45:54 PM
as Crypto can't do without banks but banks can do without crypto.
I think it's the opposite, bitcoin/crypto doesn't need a bank, users need a bank role simply because they can't immediately migrate the financial system for some reason.
Banks need crypto if global adoption rates gradually increase, or they will lose their business to competitors in the industry.

Bitcoin and crypto don't need banks but you, me and everyone needs banks. How do you invest in bitcoin if you don't have a bank account? Bitcoin is not free and we need money to own it and how do you use bitcoins for everyday payments if you don't convert them to fiat? Banking is necessary and it existed thousands of years before bitcoin was born. How will banks need crypto in the future if governments do not legalize crypto?
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be rich sheeple or free people, what's your choice? on: September 11, 2023, 12:41:17 PM
The option that resonates more with me is the second one. While it may not offer the possibility of a x1000 profit, financial freedom is more than sufficient. I choose not to be overly greedy because, indeed, humans will always need money, but not as much as one might imagine. We require money to meet our needs, and income sources can come from anywhere.

When we purchase something private, and Bitcoin can serve as a payment support solution, it's one of the things that brings me more joy than constantly accumulating wealth and being treated unfairly by centralized institutions.

People always talk about privacy but actually what's happening is that people care more about profits and money than privacy. What benefit will privacy bring or will someone pay attention to us if we don't have money? So I'm skeptical of people who say they would choose freedom and privacy over money. We are involved in investing in bitcoin, we are regularly active on the forum, is it for privacy or money? Just answering those 2 questions, I think everyone knows what they chose.

For me, I will choose money because privacy cannot feed my family, cannot help my children have delicious meals on the table and the best learning environment.

You are very straightforward, I like that. I just saw a thread on this forum about how we benefit from lying. So, to be honest, I really don't believe that anyone claims that they need privacy and not money, except for those who have actually become rich. For those of us who are still working hard to earn a few dollars a day and saying we need privacy more than money are lying to ourselves, to everyone. But I really don't know why they lied, Cheesy Cheesy.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 10, 2023, 10:30:24 PM
Antony is their main player, we can understand if Man United suffered without Antony. Unfortunately, Man United has no other players who has the same level as Antony. So, Man United is difficult to maintain their good performance. Antony's case must be very annoying for Man United. Moreover, Man United has some big matches, they really need Antony in that situation.

If you say Antony that's not got much goals or Assist for united is their main player what would you talk about Bruno Fernandes that's got lots of Assist amd created more chances,  or Rashford that was their main goal getter last season or even Wanbissaka that's defended the wing back as if he's defending his life, Antony is an impressive player no doubt but he hasn't really done anything much for united this season not even a goal or an assist.
I don't think you're a United fan because if you're you'll know they still got Facundo Pellistri that's been brilliant when he came from the bench to play that position and several other player to could be deployed from their, like Sancho, Mason mount if he recovers from injury and even their captain Bruno Fernandes has played that position in some matches last season therefore it won't really be a huge problem for Ten hag, i think Manchester United would be strong again when all the injured players return.

Although Antony is their leading player, I don't rate this player highly. The money Manchester United spent on this player is truly a waste. He was recently involved in allegations against him of violence against women.
Ten Hag will have to look for alternatives and former Chelsea star Mason Mount is said to be able to completely secure this position as he is a versatile player loved by coach Ten Hag. Recently, many sources said that Mason Mount has recovered and can return in Man United's next match. However, Ten Hag can also expect a strange but familiar name, Amad Diallo.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 10, 2023, 08:22:24 AM

The worst thing is done by Dortmund where they always sell their star players, such as releasing Bellingham to Real Madrid. That's why their performance will not always appear at its best in every season. In fact, I think they will not be able to compete at the top this season because other teams are stronger than them, such as Leverkusen and Leipzig. So, this season we have seen Dortmund having difficulty balancing their game because in the previous two matches they failed to get full points. Maybe Bellingham departure will have a big impact on their performance this season. Well, if we talk about the UCL, Dortmund certainly have quite tough opponents in the group phase and I'm sure big obstacles will make it difficult for them to provide competition to qualify for the next round.
Borrusia Dortmund keep repeating this mistake that's on the verge of declining their performance to at least more competitive average club. I was just hoping Dortmund would derived more interest in keeping their talents, who knows by today, alot of things about Bundesliga would be pointed and concentrated by Bayern Munich and only them alone. Borrusia Dortmund making some cool discreet cash from the selling of their talented young players. Dortmund are more interested in making their source remains more stable and reliable, and definitely not the profits from lifting significant titles.

Yes, Dortmund always sells their stars. Apart from Bellingham, it will be their regret. I also want to mention Erling Haaland. 51 million pounds, Man City made one of the century's bargains, of the century, an actual robbery. Dortmund is still making that mistake.
Personally, I think they still see the potential of those players. But financially, they are in need. Dortmund forced them to sell their good players. Perhaps they have fewer financial sponsors than the Premier League or La Liga.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 10, 2023, 04:10:53 AM
At 36 years old, Lloris is in the final stages of his career. For now, Lloris' next destination still needs to be clarified. Last season, Lloris often made mistakes, forcing Tottenham to recruit Guglielmo Vicario. Tottenham agreed to release his contract with 1 year remaining for him to leave. Lloris understands that he is no longer at the peak of his career, so if he stays, he must accept the bench. Lloris's career in the Premier League seems to have ended, and he should retire to keep a good image for fans.

Yeah like I said before he only has 2 options stayed at Tottenham as second player until retirement or move to Ligue1, Saudi League or other leagues as the main goalkeeper this decision may be taken after the upcoming transfer window. Lloris can't choose the top league he has to understand his age doesn't allow him to compete in the top league anymore, if he were me then I would choose to stay until retirement with Tottenham and become one of the legends at the club, however if Lloris wants money he could move to the Saudi League.

Everyone wants to make money to enjoy their old age. Hugo Lloris is no exception. However, I have not seen any information about the Saudi Arabian club's interest in signing him. The current Saudi Arabian professional league is also worth competing in. Now the stars also move there a lot. And more realistically, here, they pay very high salaries and demand work efficiency without the need for a golden age.
I advised him that if there was any generous offer, Hugo Lloris should accept it immediately.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is KYC mandatory in CEX? on: September 08, 2023, 11:55:11 PM

Indeed, that is the reason why CEX has KYC. Also, some of them can have a p2p wherein you can convert your crypto to your local currency via bank or any digital wallet that is also registered to the government. Actually, I am more into CEX than DEX, for me it is more safer and also some projects cannot list their token in cex without any docs and enough money to pay especially to tier 1 exchanges.
The reason is obvious as to why they require cex to ask their customers KYC which is to avoid illegal activities like money laundering. If they aren't under the government then they wouldn't have to ask KYC from their customers just like dex. That's why many people are more into dex than cex just like me which I prefer dex than cex. There are risk when you use cex like your info might get leaked or sold by the platform to other people and that will result in identity theft which you wouldn't want.

Besides not having to provide identity, I don't think DEX has anything superior to CEX. DEX liquidity is still very low so we will encounter many difficulties. I tried p2p trading on bisq and it took more than 1 day to contact the seller which is quite annoying if we need the money urgently. Moreover, if you are a day trader, DEX is not a wise choice as they do not offer too many trading pairs and features that cannot be compared with CEX. DEX is great for privacy, the rest are still not comparable to CEX.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government vs Bitcoin on: September 08, 2023, 04:01:12 PM
`

Improving an individual's economy is what bitcoin can do, but to improve a country's economy, that's really an exaggeration for bitcoin. To improve a country's economy, we need to create more jobs, bring high income to people and improve people's lives...Can Bitcoin create jobs? People have misconceptions about bitcoin and this is really dangerous for themselves.

Not only does accepting bitcoin as currency pose a risk to those without knowledge of bitcoin, but the government is also unable to control the national economy because of bitcoin's high volatility. Personally, I still feel that as long as volatility persists, bitcoin is more suitable as an asset than a currency.
Bitcoin's current status may not be enough to overhaul a nation's economy. Indeed, it doesn't immediately produce jobs. The crypto ecosystem, which includes Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, is producing many jobs. The industry is growing for blockchain developers, crypto traders, security specialists, and crypto journalists.

Bitcoin is misunderstood, which is harmful. However, focusing on knowledge may help us overcome that obstacle. To maximize Bitcoin's wealth potential, informed people are better positioned.

Though volatile, many "traditional" assets (stocks, commodities, even some currencies) have suffered comparable issues in their early days. Its volatility may reduce as more individuals adopt it. I see your position; these debates are essential for our financial future.

We cannot know what will happen in the future, but given what is happening now, it would be a mistake to think that bitcoin can overhaul a country's economy. We should be more realistic and I agree with you because we are in the early stages of the bitcoin revolution. So maybe bitcoin is only used as a speculative asset, but as things gradually become more popular and accepted. I believe that then bitcoin will have more opportunities to be applied more widely in different industries and fields, thereby creating more useful jobs.

...For some players there is something like too much workload and that can have negative consequences for them. Bellingham seems to be ready to go the full distance in a season.
This would be good if conditions were like that. And it will be even better if in the future there will be no problems related to injuries. Because at this age, Bellingham's career should still be long. How his career goes in the future will also depend on his and Real Madrid's consistency in optimizing his talent. This will be a great combination if Bellingham can continue to improve his skills and remain solid in the team.

I congratulate Bellingham on finding his wings at Real Madrid, the club that will help him shine with his youth and talent. In the future, I hope he will be the new star of the European Football Federation. When Ronaldo, Messi, and Neymar left Europe.

Yes but what we can already see is the praise and recognition that Bellingham gets is fundamentally different from that which Mbappe gets playing for PSG.

If Bellingham wants to become the best player in the world and also win those rewards, his choice to go to Real Madrid was exactly the right one. Mbappe playing for PSG will have a hard time because this leads to an instand discredit when the player of the year choices are made. Playing for Real Madrid and being the best is simply different from playing for PSG and being the best.

Mbappe is doing the right thing for his wallet, but he is doing the wrong thing for his career in terms of personal achievements. Real Madrid should have been his first choice.

To play for Real Madrid is fantastic. They will be raised to a new level.
Yes, Mbappe is a good player. Everyone realizes that. It was a mistake when he turned his back on Real Madrid to continue renewing with PSG. He chose power and money instead of going to Real Madrid. His career resembles Neymar's, who was bogged down at PSG before.
