1 shuttle pc
1 usb hub mit 4 ports
1 atx netzteil zum testen
1 200mm fan

I can hold for sure my part of the timetable ...

Paying
&
Dispatching ...

but timeline is depended on a few more factors,
like I wrote in my email and PM.

there is a skype user trying to ... take advantage ... of my name ...

don't do any trades with him ... it's not me ...

just let him sign a btc address from my profil ... or from this group buy ^^

to be sure to get me on skype ... send me your skype name with PM.

thx

so you actually found a solution for the noisy-fans-problem, darkfriend?
Can you post more details, like temps compared to the original
setting (if available), which fan for how many devices etc?

ok ... I just cutoff the fans ... with fans they stay ice cold ...

without they get warm but touchable ... if you add one 200mm like I did ...

they stay cold ... some one the side are not touched by the airflow so they get little hotter ...

but they work like a charm ... in that setup for the last 72h ^^

probably running them with out any airflow is fine ... as long as they are in an open environment.

Hi,

can u post a pic with a sheet of paper with your nick on it Grin
I ve seen the picture somewhere else, dont know, if it was from u.
Sorry Grin

sure ... you probably saw it here ... (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=482352.msg5600900#msg5600900)

I will satisfy your need of trust later today with some special pictures ...

You asked for it ...

This looks great. Anyone tried this with 40+ miners (off 4 USB hubs)?

...

I tryed out yesterday with 20 on 2 hubs ... it was working ... but haven't tested more then 30 minutes.

As I wanted to have them hash on seperate workers ... to check some stuff ...
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE] GridSeed Miner Support/Tuning on: March 11, 2014, 01:59:26 PM
I posted this in another thread and did not get a response. Are some of the control units being sent out with a virus? I bought this one from atari02. It seems to be hashing okay in the wiibox but does not always show up as hashing in scryptguild.

Original message:
I had root access with SSH and overclocked the controller. Then, I upgraded to 2.0.4 and I lost root access. The password no longer works. I upgraded to 2.0.5 and still get 'access denied'. Could the controller have been hacked somehow?

Hey, I had also a bad experience, ... but after using it with wiibox.net and setting all parameters and pool configuration over there it was fine ... I'm not sure but I guess that it does use some default configuration .. or maybe it has a trojan ... what ever I in the end just moved away from those controllers ...

ok, lol ... I got a f... problem ... somehow my controller is getting hijacked ...

... ... I haven't changed anything then upgrading to wiibox 2.0.2 ... that's it ...

user and psw is getting changed to ... a users miner ... called wwee.1, wwee.2 ...

... I already mentioned that on my controller .... that I received ... there was malicious code ...

that turned pool, user & worker .... to a thrid party in my absence ....

I haven't changed ... anything at the code, except upgrading with wiibox.net to 2.0.2 ...

Has someone a similar issue with a wiibox controller ?

my work around im not using that controller for the moment ...

Works for me, any way I can specify COM ports to be used and others to be ignored?  Also how to ignore my GPU's?  OCL0, OCL1, OCL2

Awesome - that's great news! Haven't had a chance to play on Windows just yet.

To ignore GPUs, pass in:

Code:
-S noauto

That will prevent any auto-detection. To specify the devices, instead of:

Code:
-S gridseed:all

use:

Code:
-S gridseed:/dev/cu.usbmodem3a21

where the bit after the colon is the COM port or path to the device.

Any way to set clock speed of the 5chip gridseed miners?

the windows binary looks fine ... except of the clocking ...

Thank you darkfriend77! this is a great guide!
We will try to release a new version of scripta where people don't need to do all this... Ideally Scripta should be able to discover different hardware devices (gridseed 5 chips, dualminer and others) and associate each device to a cgminer and a set of parameters, along with the pools the dev should mine on. We have posted a TODO file on github about this and if someone wants to join the team (also for other aspects) please feel free to send me a PM or play with the Git!  https://github.com/scriptamining/scripta/blob/master/TODO
P.S. Apologies if slightly off topic, but I thought it was relevant...

Edit: Some stability issues have been reported and qiqiji on the litecoin forum has suggested to make this small change to the file cmdline.txt
https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=9908.msg139447#msg139447

thx, I added the stability fix to the guide.

Do you have any plans to open this Group buy up to the US in the next batch?

I could open it up, but probably shipping and taxes would be to much ...

just check DHL for 10kg, 270mmx270mmx400mm from Germany or Switzerland to your address.

Step by Step Raspberry SCRIPTA Installation:

  • 1 - SD Formatter (link) clean up your SD Card. At least a 4GB SD.
  • 2 - Download the SCRIPTA Image (link)
  • 3 - Win 32 Disk Imager (link) and write the scripta image on the SD Card.
  • 4 - Put the SD Card into your Raspberry.
  • 5 - SSH access on port 7722, user: root / psw: scripta
  • 6 - Use WinSCP (link) to move over the latest rasp cgminer for gridseed (https://db.tt/UygLkqwd) or Use PuTTY (link)
Code:
wget https://db.tt/UygLkqwd -O cgminer
  • 7 - Go to the location where you copied over your cgminer and do "chmod 777 cgminer"
  • 8 - Go to the SCRIPTA Web GUI, under Miner hit Miner commands, STOP
  • 9 - Go to the location where you copied over your cgminer and run it from there using these commands:
Code:
./cgminer --scrypt -o <miningpooladdress:port> -u <user> -p <pw> --gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=850

    Stability-Fix:
    Code:
    sudo nano /boot/cmdline.txt
Add the following code at the end of the first line (on the same line as the other text, DO NOT add new line!)
    Code:
    slub_debug=FP
