261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: November 15, 2020, 02:01:46 PM
People don't buy bitcoin when the price is low because they are afraid that it will not increase again but if the price are high they are all in panic buying because they are happy that bitcoin price is going to the moon and then they are expecting more and more about bitcoin price like now that they are hoping for it's value to reach six digit number which I think still impossible for now. But of course let's just wait and see because we really don't know what will be the future of bitcoin.

263  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: November 11, 2020, 02:07:52 PM
There is no worse problem even government slowly open the economy as long as the people will follow the health protocol to avoid spreading of virus and not to make pandemic worst again. We need to live and the economy need to recover even slowly that's why cooperation of everyone is highly needed this time that government decide to open the economy slowly.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Risks Of Bitcoin Going To Zero Has Gotten More Lower Than Ever on: November 11, 2020, 10:01:28 AM
The possibility of bitcoin going to zero is ZERO. From the creation of bitcoin until now, there are huge difference in terms of demand and value bitcoin now is very valuable and popular which you can see that the demand of bitcoin is already more that the number of supply. Even other countries don't want to accept bitcoin, it will still valuable and never go to zero value.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: Hoping that its the end of corona virus on: November 10, 2020, 05:18:18 PM
In our country covid positive everyday still a huge number but DOH said that it was under control. Still scared to go out anywhere because you didn't know if still there's a place without covid virus. They said there will be a covid vaccine this coming 2021 and we are hoping so to stop the spreading of this kind of virus. Also we hope that every country will survive after this pandemic and recover again specially the economic status of the country.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 09, 2020, 01:44:26 PM
I don't think this impacts Bitcoin in any way. It is still good news. We must still wait for peer reviews before it is available to the public but hopefully it will not be much longer since people don't want to go back into lockdown and businesses want to fully go back to normal.

I agree with you. This vaccine should pass the clinical trial before it will distribute to the market to secure the safety of health of everyone. It's really a good news and hoping that it will not take any longer to be distributed in every country. But I don't think so if it has a direct impact in bitcoin. Maybe if bitcoin will be use as payment method for that vaccine.
267  Economy / Economics / Re: The Difference Between Staking and Investing on: November 09, 2020, 01:34:01 PM
both are profitable but it depends on your capital. Staking just provide small yearly interest like in a traditional banks
Profit doesn't depend on capital.
Eh, I don't know about that.  I think what OP means is that an investment of $50 in some PoS coin is going to earn you fewer total coins than if you'd invested $50,000.  Therefore I think that total profit might indeed depend on how much money you've sunk into a particular coin--if that's your definition of "capital" anyway.

As far as that statement above saying that staking is like having a bank account, I'd disagree with that.  Yes, the "interest" part of it is just like a savings account, but there's also the potential for capital gains, and that's something missing entirely from savings accounts.  To me, it's like buying a stock that pays a dividend vs. one that doesn't.

Also, as far as OP's question goes: Staking is a form of investment.  They're not different things.

You got it sir, if what I mean about the profit depends on the capital. Sorry if I didn't elaborate it very well. Anyway thank you and to all who added more knowledge about this topic.I really appreciate everyone giving more explanation and to better understand my topic.
268  Economy / Economics / The Difference Between Staking and Investing on: November 08, 2020, 01:35:25 PM
As I read some post here, I found out that many people in crypto space are still confused between the staking and investing. I just want to give some insight about the difference between this two so that you can decide what to choose. You can add more about it so that it can give knowledge to others.

As what I have read and searched:

Investing is a way to potentially increase the amount of money you have. The goal is to buy financial products, also called investments, and hopefully sell them at a higher price than what you initially paid. .
Investing is the process of buying assets that increase in value over time and provide returns in the form of income payments or capital gains.

While;
Staking is the process of actively participating in transaction validation (similar to mining) on a proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain. On these blockchains, anyone with a minimum-required balance of a specific cryptocurrency can validate transactions and earn Staking rewards.
Staking involves holding funds in a cryptocurrency wallet to support the security and operations of a blockchain network. Simply put, staking is the act of locking cryptocurrencies to receive rewards. In most cases, you'll be able to stake your coins directly from your crypto wallet, such as Trust Wallet.

At the end, both are profitable but it depends on your capital. Staking just provide small yearly interest like in a traditional banks but investing give much higher percentage of profit in just a short period of time but it depends on how much, what or where did you invest. You can also choose both if you want to earn more. Everything is up to you, if what you prefer to do to earn.
269  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Targets for 2020 on: November 08, 2020, 12:51:54 PM
Bitcoin market is unpredictable and because of it's volatile nature, there is a possibility that bitcoin will reach another ATH before end year like what happened last year 2017. But of course no one can tell that it will happen , all of us are just hoping for it to happen whatever the reason behind this bull run.
270  Economy / Speculation / Re: All time high is just around the corner are you selling all on: November 07, 2020, 03:39:33 PM
Good for those who patiently hold their bitcoins because anytime soon new ATH will bring more profit again. Bitcoin is really volatile and those who always don't believe in bitcoin will surely regret.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happened to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: November 06, 2020, 10:43:24 AM
I always think if a big country like America or China makes their own digital currency and has the same system as Bitcoin (develops its own blockchain system), then the digital currency of that country is recognized as a legal digital currency and is used for digital transactions by all countries, then I thought what would happen to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, would Bitcoin and cryptocurrency survive? or even Bitcoin and cryptocurrency will become legal too?

All is depends on the acceptance of the people or let's say the demand. Even America or China make their own digital currency if people don't want to patronize it, the, it will not be like bitcoin. Also countries will never make a decentralize currency on which they don't have any control on it.
272  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown in Europe can their economy survive this?. on: November 05, 2020, 04:10:14 PM
Not only Europe experiencing economic difficulties because of covid 19 pandemic. But people are brave and wise, they can find other way to survive despite of this difficulties. I believe everything well be fine and every country well recover no matter how long this pandemic will end. Because as long as people live, everyone will find ways to survive together with the economy.
273  Economy / Economics / Re: Iran accepting cryptocurrencies to avoid US Dollar on: November 05, 2020, 04:03:51 PM
It's a positive news that Iran accepting cryptocurrencies as their alternative for US dollar. Iran might be an example so that other country will also accept and patronize cryptocurrency. Hassle free and there's no manipulation.

277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I accept Bitcoin for payments on my online store? on: November 04, 2020, 05:40:56 PM
I'm considering to possibly add Bitcoin and other altcoins as a way to pay for goods purchased on my online store.

Is this a good idea? Are there any risks (other than the volatility)?

Is anyone really going to use this?

I'm afraid that my customers may not be much into cryptos, but I guess that it's hard to tell until you try ...
I also have some doubts on the technical side.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance

I think that is a good start and idea to accept bitcoin as payment method in your store but of course more choices of payment method the better. But always put on your mind that accepting bitcoin as payment in your store is full of risk because you already know that bitcoin is volatile. Still, it's up to you if you will take risk and help bitcoin to spread in your community.

279  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: November 04, 2020, 05:33:34 PM
I think bitcoin is not yet ready to become world wide currency because it is still in development process. Also government still not accepting it because it was decentralized digital currency and every country has already a currency issued by the government and used by the people daily,
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we stop bitcoin scammers? on: November 03, 2020, 04:47:13 PM
I have noticed and we are all aware that so many people do complain that they were scammed through bitcoin. In every problem there is always a solution. How can we identify when a scammer is trying to scam.Let their be a strong system In such a way that scammers won’t be able to penetrate in. And can we pay more attention when someone complain about scammers.

Scammers is always present not only in crypto space but also in real world. We can't stop them because that is their strategy to make more money comes from what other people have labored for. No one can protect us, only ourselves. we need to become aware for everything like investing in some projects or for trusting someone. We need to verify first if the project or someones offer is legit or not. I think we can manage it by ourselves just become careful enough and do some studies and research about bitcoin scammers so that we can identify them if we encounter such circumstances.
