263  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Are broken PCI-E pins repairable? on: January 02, 2013, 04:07:31 AM
The 1x portion of my PCI-E card on my 5970 broke off. I was wondering if I could use a PCI-E extender, and solder it onto alternate points in the card. Does anybody know if this has been done and where they are?

Heres an example picture showing what part broke off, this isn't a picture of my card:

The link doesn't work.
The file size is 1kb.

I was playing this game in the past. And mostly on the editor. I've created some good projects that were certainly, the bests in all domains.

But since the new owner of the game is dishonest, left-handed and an asshole. He decided to kill the game for some strange reasons.

The game is still ON: here: http://slayersonline.net

About the archive you are trying to unlock.
It is the delphi source code.
It contains like you said, Server, editor and game client.
The maps, and the game itself, I have it, and it is useless.
I do speak french, and this editor is no problem for me.

I'm willing to negotiate a fair price for cracking this archive if anybody wants to take a stab at it.

hashing power isnt going to help brute force a password.

Hashing power could break an encrypted password file (theoretically) but you have nothing to crack, what you are looking for is someone to brute force it which just means guessing it over and over again until you get it right, and I am not sure but I am guessing that web site has some kind of protection that will block the IP of the person that tries the password too many times and / or starts demanding captcha which would make it incredibly time consuming and not worth the trouble for 1 btc

I'm confused. What server? The ace file itself is locked. No server is ever going to find out that you're trying to crack the password to a file. You don't even have to be online to crack it.

I found a good brute force gpu cracker for rar files, but it won't work for ace files and you can't convert ace to rar when it's locked like this. This archive is for an rpg maker. I've got my heart set on using this one and no other. I could bump it up to 1.5 coins if someone can do it.

You can view the files without a password, but you have the password and can extract everything?
271  Economy / Services / Re: WTB Can someone crack this form me for 1 bitcoin? on: November 25, 2011, 04:45:26 AM

I have no clue what the password is.

I'm not expecting them to, and if they do release it nobody would use it anyway.

275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to all the unclaimed MyBitcoin bitcoins? on: August 11, 2011, 01:54:24 AM
Why doesn't Tom tell us who he is in receivership with?
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to all the unclaimed MyBitcoin bitcoins? on: August 10, 2011, 05:53:33 PM
I haven't even received my 49% yet and I filed a claim as soon as the form was up.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to all the unclaimed MyBitcoin bitcoins? on: August 09, 2011, 07:57:37 PM
They're closing the claim form after 30 days. Anything not claimed by then should be distributed among those who did file a claim.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What will happen to all the unclaimed MyBitcoin bitcoins? on: August 09, 2011, 07:37:07 PM
Does Tom keep them, does he distribute them out?
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Tom Williams" likely sold the entire myBTC.com bank @ ~13 and bought back at $8 on: August 08, 2011, 04:59:57 PM
What happens to all the unclaimed coins?
280  Economy / Speculation / Re: And so the dumping begins.. on: August 05, 2011, 08:33:29 PM
LMFAO. Thank you for bumping this post. Was hilarious to read. Some people are so sure of themselves to the point of being assholes to others, it's amazing.

Who knew mybitcoin was going to get hacked and tons of coins were going to get stolen? I wouldn't be surprised if they were being dumped on the market. This is no different than all those people who said bitcoin was doomed then MTGOX got goxed and bitcon went down to a penny a coin and they all said "I TOLD YOU SO!" This was a freak accident.
