261  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: May 14, 2018, 09:11:57 AM
I think because most of the population in developed countries already have internet access and electronic equipment. And technology education in the country already exists and the majority of the population is willing to learn to use the technology. And because the country's economy is good, its inhabitants are able to buy everything it needs to buy tools that are made the means to manage bitcoin. For example the required tools are PC or internet network.

User in good economies countries have more resources they are willing to invest higher because they can afford it. They are also the risk takers since they have more. They can afford a faster internet connections to be updated with the latest result.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long Bitcoin can survive in cryptocurency industry ? on: May 14, 2018, 03:33:34 AM
I think it is very difficult to predict whether bitcoin will continue to grow or not in the future. but when viewed at this time only enthusiasts and investors bitcoin still very much so that the possibility of bitcoin will continue to grow along with the development of technology

Yes it is unpredictable but with all the current improvements and the increasing bitcoin enthusiast there is a bigger chance of bitcoin to survive. The easy and faster transaction it provides and the employment that it can give to people can make bitcoin highly needed.
263  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't lose your faith in BTC. on: May 13, 2018, 12:31:46 PM
As Bitcoin investor, i never lose my hope because till now we have seen many fluctuations in the market from the governments and so many hacks. Even though after 10 years still, bitcoin is surveying in the market. Only because governments understand the potential benefits of Bitcoin and it's behind technology. So, i never lose hope on Bitcoin.

I have my hard times in bitcoin too.  I have also experienced not being paid after a 3 months work in bounty campaigns. The  reinvested profit is not successful but losing faith is not in my vocabulary. I am still in bitcoin and do the hard work keep myself motivated of the earnings i get.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes Bitcoin valuable? on: May 13, 2018, 05:40:14 AM
Everyone in the crypto space has had people tell them that Bitcoin is worthless or that it doesnt have any true value.

Of course, thats infuriating to hear, but for investors new to the space, its sometimes hard to craft a good answer.

So heres a little cheat sheet for any newbies out there who get this question or accusation:

1. Bitcoin is safe.  It cant be hacked because its decentralized.
2. Bitcoin eliminates layers of transaction fees.
3. Bitcoin is fast (especially after the lightning upgrade).
4. Bitcoin provides more privacy than normal transactions.
5. Bitcoin hedges against stupidity from central banks and governments.
6. Bitcoin cant be counterfeited.
7. Bitcoin isnt tied to other asset classes and is a hedge against other investments.

In short, Bitcoin solves massive problems with the financial and political world, and that is its value.

And because its the most tested and has first mover advantage, it has been established as a store of value, much like digital gold.

Gold is valuable because everybody agree that it is valuable. Bitcoin became valuable now because it is becoming so popular and everybody wanted to have a piece of it and while it is very scarce, that makes it so valuable now. Scarcity is the main characteristic why bitcoin is so expensive.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ripple Going To Reach 10,000$ By 2020? on: May 12, 2018, 11:22:07 PM
Hey guys, so the last ripple thread got closed down and since there aren't any new ones I decided to make one on my own.

I got around 126 ripple at the moment and I'm just wondering if they will turn me into a millionaire in the next two years.

I personally believe that they will and that anyone reading this should invest into ripple.

*NOT AN EXPERT, RESEARCH YOURSELF BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING*

After all, you cannot beat the banks.
They will buy all the ripple and they will pay whatever amount is needed just to get the technology for themselves.
This means that getting in now, at a dollar, is a bargain as the more banks get interested in ripple and buying it, the more the demand for it will grow and the prices will shoot up crazy!

We watched it go from 0.19 to almost 5$ in the span of just a few weeks, I don't see why bigger growth isn't possible and don't tell me about the market cap- people were bickering about it on a dollar and ripple dumpstered it without any issues.

Please discuss and remain civil while doing it.
I don't think that your speculation will ever happen. Ripple is centralized and they are under control and somebody will be manipulating it's price so i don't even think that it will hit the $20 USD mark.

267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: April 29, 2018, 08:32:07 AM
Hi,

I see a lot of members waiting for like 7 days and they didn't getting any profit..
After 14 days the price is dropping..

They screaming on bitcointalk and Twitter.. (some of them  Grin)
My answer.. Just wait!

- Developers can't work 24 hours a day
- don't check the twitter or ANN every hour  Wink
- a project in blockchain isn't a job for a week.. Be patient..
If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.

Yes joining in ICO's needed patience and hardwork. In my experience you will wait at least 4 to 5months to finish an ICO project and then wait for sometime for your coins to be in the exchange so that you can now have your profit. For me waiting is worth it so don't be discourage.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins for illegal activity on: April 29, 2018, 12:41:07 AM
From recent news in India it is heard that bitcoins are used to sell drugs..I know its a currency and it is also used as a normal money... but these can create a bad space in people's mind that bitcoins are used to sell drugs..so they will not use bitcoins... Conclusion is that BTC is also a currency which is having a high value in the market..and bitcoins must not be used in these illegal activity which can reduce its usage and value.

I hope that this is not true. Bitcoin has help a lot of individuals, there are a lot of families who are now dependents on it. In some countries it reduces unemployment rate and increase economic growth. Bitcoin is good for us i hope illegal activities will not be part of it.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: April 26, 2018, 01:23:47 PM
As a matter of fact, it is very few number of noobs in the cryptocurrency business that understand the level at which patience is required and valuable in the business. I do tell my friends around me that wish to come in to the business “it’s only patience ones that would feed from the milk of a lion” . I bought some coins few weeks ago, which I decided to hold while it was dipping but I keep holding with zero fear and absolute patience. Presently, i’m In over 47% profit in all. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential and relax even while it’s at dip. Trust me, you won’t live to regret anything if only you would be able to hold with patience. Thanks

Patience is not the only key to succeed in this business. The thing is we need to understand what the systems can offer. We have to learn and do research before going into investments. The market fluctuations can either make or break us. So for me the key is Knowledge, Patience and Luck.

271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Earnings on: April 22, 2018, 09:12:51 AM
Hi guys.

Out of curiosity, what are you earning with bounty campaigns?
I think I'm somewhere near 1K USD/month, but I guess there have to be people here who are earning lots more.

Kind regards

EDIT:

As many people do not believe these profits, I will explain how I make them.

I focus on the translation campaigns (dutch). A translation pays +- 3 ETH on average. I have only started (only 1 translation has been paid, I received +-2 ETH), but as I can make up to 3 translations/month (currently working on 2 more), this would get me 9 ETH/month.  As not every project is succesful, let's say I will receive 4,5 ETH/month.

Do not focus on signature campaigns or social media campaigns, these are the crumbs (especially for members with lower ranks) while translation campaigns are probably the bread.

I use the Bountyhive platform to manage my bounty participations, this platform makes it possible to be enrolled in 10 campaigns at the same time, without having to report.

Wow, that is a good income for this endeavor. So far i have not receive any payment from my bounty campaigns. I only do signature campaign and i will last for two months and yet low rank so small payment at the end of bounty.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IF the GOVERNMENT wins over BITCOIN? on: April 22, 2018, 07:11:54 AM
Be ready and aware that 2018 is the year of regulatory reckoning. Countries around the world are trying to determine how they are going to treat cryptocurrencies. Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC) has halted several ICOs and hinted at the need for greater crypto regulation.

I am into cryptocurrency because of freedom, I can't deny to myself that I have worries regarding this issue. And as an investor, I really have no choice but to stay with crypto once the governments around the world have control to cryptocurrencies (if that became possible).

So as much as we can, also invest with physical properties with what you've earned. For we don't know what will happen next with our money in the digital world.

This is not an advice. It's simply a shared idea.

How about you? What do you have in mind? Undecided

In my own understanding with cryptocurrency, i think the government can't win over crypto. They can only regulate exchange but not the crypto in itself.
273  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: April 22, 2018, 06:40:39 AM
For exchanges, ICOs that collect KYC information, when are they required to send information to the government.

If I remember correctly, in the US if you make a money transaction, such as through Western Union, or bank, $3,000+, within the same day, or smaller amounts during consecutive days, the institution must collect your ID information and Social Security and report it to the government. I forget which entity of the government.

Does that mean that if one participates in an ICO and puts in over $3,000, that gets reported to the government? Or if you move $3,000 out of an exchange, that gets reported?
I think they are requiring KYC for investors with certain amount of money is for them to monitor their clients and prevent money laundering act. I remember a certain ICO that requires KYC for investors with $10K and above investment because they said that their lawyers advise them to.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i quit on joining bounty campaign? on: April 22, 2018, 06:04:21 AM
It was an unfortunate event that i was able to join an ICO campaign that was really not good in terms of their management. They are requiring to do the bounty hunters a KYC process as to help them identify the real bounty hunters. Well that is good though and i am confident that i am able to comply in the KYC process. However, a couple of months pass the team requires the bounty hunters to contribute with 0.1 eth and that time I was about to think why when in fact they will do KYC? So i think there is something fishy out there in their ICO and i quit joining bounty campaigns. I posted more than 200 post for them but sad to say my efforts had gone to nothing. I am afraid now to join ICO bounty campaign. Should i quit? Well anyway i found SONDER and this time i am sure that i have joined a good ICO having a live sales which sold million of tokens in their private sales. No question with the success we are almost reaching the soft cap and i am planning also to invest with them as the team told us that our contribution as eth increases so does our tokens. WOw i am really impressed with these ICO. The team are working hard and i am happy and great to be with these team. I finally found the one.
I think you are not asking opinion from us to quit or not because right now you are already had joined a campaign and it seems to you promoting it here. I get lost with the title of your thread.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: April 22, 2018, 05:31:24 AM
Philadelphia 76ers managed to get a win over the Miami Heat 106 -102 (PHI 3-1) . Dwayne Wade with another monster performance although not enough to push for a win.
With Embid back in the Sixer's rooster, he proved to be the nightmare of the Miami Heat. Even with the monster performance of the veteran Wade, it is still not enough for them to take the win. This is really a unwinnable battle for the Miami Heat for now.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world. on: April 22, 2018, 02:54:38 AM
I think that in order to get more profit from cryptocurrencies, you need to either invest a lot or go to trade. You can also choose ICO projects that can bring you more profit, but it is quite dangerous and difficult.

I agree. Investing here in crypto is very dangerous. I think there is no fast way to get rich here in crypto world. You have to take your time to study the pattern of the system on how it works. You should equipped yourself with the knowledge in order for you to get rich here in the crypto world.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It To Late For Me To Buying Bitcoin? on: April 22, 2018, 01:58:00 AM
As we Know Today bitcoin Is Worth Of USD $9108
is to late for me to buying it ?
It is too late to invest on this BTC BTC?
any good reason why i should buy bitcoin now? or just watching?
thanks!
There is no late in bitcoin. The good thing if you buy bitcoin now is it is cheaper than that of December of last year. It almost hit $20K so i think if you are planning to buy bitcoin then the time should be now because as forecasted by experts, it will go up again late this year.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: April 01, 2018, 12:32:56 AM
The number of successful ICO's are decreasing dramatically.  Just wanna know about successful ICO's in the fourth quarter of 2017 and if anybody still believes in  ICO's.
Although there are a lot of ICOs out there were scam, there are also which are legitimate. I still believe in ICO as a bounty hunter because for me, ICO is the source of bounty and without those legit ICO i will be doing nothing.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: March 31, 2018, 09:56:02 AM
A lot of people wonder what is the criteria of a good gambler, here are some of my thought about good gambler

a good gambler never chase profit
Profit might be the first reason why people gamble, but a good gambler never attached to the profit, the most important thing in gambling is excitement and fun experience, having profit is just the bonus

a good gambler able to control himself / herself
Self controlling is very important in gambling, without a clear mind there will be a lot of mistakes in betting and even causing reckless betting and losing all of the money in split second

a good gambler know when to stop
Setting a limit is very important in gambling, setting a lost limit will prevent you to over spend your money and setting a win limit is  also important because in the long run the house got a bigger chance to win due to the house edge

a good gambler never cause any problem to the surrounding
A good gambler know that the chances of losing money in gambling is huge, so a gambler should never used daily needs money or borrowing money to gamble, and a gambler should never think of robbery or stealing to gamble

a good gambler can accept lost
When losing a good gambler won't blame the surrounding, cursing or accusing the  casino as fraud places, losing is the half part of gambling, if you can't accept lost then dont start to gamble

a good gambler should able to manage the time
A good gambler know how to split the time for family, for friends and for gambling, a good gambler never neglected family or friend just because of gambling

We must encourage people to become a good gambler, so people won't always have a bad judgement about gambler
Here in our country if you are a gambler, your personality seem to be tainted. You can never be good because it is the norm of our society that gambling is not good because it can cause you more trouble.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risky move ? on: March 31, 2018, 12:59:07 AM
Not know why but i did sell all my alts today. And bought Tron TRX for them all. Now i hold a nice amount of TRX  Grin

MC is down to 280b today and the market not going anywhere soon. So i decided to buy the hype around TRX and move all my $ to this coin. Know this can be risky but if the price go up just a few cents i will make a nice profit.

Very risky move because you put all your money in a single coin. In my opinion, the best way is to spread your investment into at least five coins. The advantages though of putting your money in one coin is large profit if that coin appreciate.
