261  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB .2 BTC for $175 PayPal on: January 14, 2014, 12:24:19 AM
I want to buy .2 BTC via PayPal.

Actually I just made a nice sale so now I'd like to buy .3

I see some offers here to sell for PayPal occasionally.

I use PayPal for business and am not going to play games with it.  I know all too well about scamming chargebacks.

Willing to send first if you have any kind reputation.

Selling with Paypal leaves you unprotected, think carefully.

"WTB" means "Want to buy," not sell.

Around 4.1 million people work in fast food right now just in the US.

What sort of "unforeseen job opportunities" will be awaiting them?

And how will most of them increase their IQ enough to obtain such jobs?

They will work part time while taking college and university classes in the evenings or weekends, and then have middle to upper class level employment opportunities in whatever they studdied and got degrees in. That's what I did when I worked in fast food.

Not sure what country you're living in but if you've looked at the striking fast food workers in America... well, most of them aren't college material, to put it politely.  All are not born with the same intellectual capacity.

If you are arguing that automation will lead to long-term unemployment, I think you are wrong.  Authors have written extensively on this subject since the 1900s (and perhaps earlier).  Many were worried that machines would replace men.  What we have seen is that automation simply results in higher efficiency and unforseen job opportunities on the automation side.  This seems obvious to me, so you must be arguing something else despite what I'm reading here.

It's fair to assume that 90% of them are small traders averaging less than 1 BTC at any given time. Then there is the rest with more and the top 3%-4% with significant amounts trading at any given time. As a trader you can't make very much money with small trades and I was one of the people with significant amounts at any given time. The bottom 90% alone were probably worth 1500 to 2000 BTC and the top 10% worth several times that. BitJohn has also indicated that about 100 BTC/ month was your revenue stream from fees. It's easy to see there is a magnitude of order more on deposit than brought in by fees.

Lmao.  It's only 63 BTC you idiot.

I get tired of reading such stupid responses.

If it's "only 63 BTC" then send 25% of that amount to someone on this thread.  Not me - just pick someone at random, get their address, and send it.  It's ONLY 15.75 BTC, such a miniscule amount to a big man like you, right?

Now put up or shut up.

I didn't think so, "idiot."

How about reading terms before using any service?

Without prejudice to any other terms of this Agreement, relating to the limitation of liability and provision of indemnities, the following clauses shall apply to our Electronic Services.

    j. System errors

We shall have no liability to you for damage which you may suffer as a result of transmission errors, technical faults, malfunctions, illegal intervention in network equipment, network overloads, malicious blocking of access by third parties, internet malfunctions, interruptions or other deficiencies on the part of internet service providers. You acknowledge that access to Electronic Services may be limited or unavailable due to such system errors, and that we reserve the right upon notice to suspend access to Electronic Services for this reason.

Since Cryptsy states the terms above, it goes both ways, right?

e.g. the guy who mistakenly was able to withdraw 60 BTC was under no obligation to return it since Cryptsy clearly states they shall have no liability for all the above - the user shouldn't either.

Try it if you don't believe me.

You aren't getting any free coins.

That wasn't the case a little over a week ago...
276  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CampBX is being slow - use caution on: December 12, 2013, 10:43:26 PM
Yes they did, just wish they would be honest about processing times.
277  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CampBX is being slow - use caution on: December 10, 2013, 08:40:13 PM
They are pathetic, and I never want to use them again.

They're sitting on $1000 of my money at this point (actually $1500 but one was just cashed yesterday, so wouldn't expect it in my account until tomorrow).

The $1000 should have been credited last Friday - or at least yesterday.

Not with CampBX.  They'll say "2 business days" and sit on it as long as they want.

In this case it's especially interesting since the BTC price on their site went from $633 on Saturday night up to $975 right now.  When it hits $1000 don't be surprised if a lot of people are suddenly credited their money.

Their "customer service" people can't even communicate in English half the time.

It's infuriating since I sent money at the exact right time and should have had cheap BTC, at least by the standards of today.  I don't have any cheap BTC since they're too incompetent - or crooked - to process money orders in the time frame they state on their own website.

278  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Stay away from Coinbase on: December 10, 2013, 06:32:36 PM
I've seen reports from users about the wait time. Can someone tell me why they do this? I mean a transaction should be fast but they delay it for what? Why?

because ACH payments take 4 days to clear. since bitcoins are non-reversible, they need to have the money in their hand before sending you the bitcoin. any system that uses this method of payment will have delays. the only way to avoid this is to register your personal information.

Because they're a scam like every other shit exchange in the United States.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest problem with bitcoin is these imcompetent exchanges on: December 10, 2013, 02:38:49 PM
You can add Campbx.com to the list of incompetent idiots.

Their website states, in bold letters, that all money orders will be credited within 2 business days of receipt.

They have cashed 3 $500 money orders of mine last week.  One arrived Monday (was finally credited Sunday morning), another arrived Wednesday, not sure when the other arrived but it had to have been around the same time as they were all cashed the same day.

Nothing has been credited to my account at all from the last $1000 they've cashed.  If just $500 had been credited by Saturday I could have had $633 (or less) BTC.  They are too lazy to live up to their own terms, and now the price is well over $900.

If you look at their Facebook page it seems they may be about to go under.  They're ripping off everybody.

280  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CampBX is being slow - use caution on: December 09, 2013, 05:09:01 AM
To update, they finally credited me Sunday morning with $700 they got Monday.  Not exactly "2 business days" that they say, and if they had it in Saturday I would have saved over $100 on the price of BTC.

The sad part is I would still use them over Co(i)nbase any day of the week.
