Hmm perhaps I should make it a little more.

268  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 10, 2014, 11:56:25 PM
Seriously this is really awesome. If I ever get enough bitcoin to justify a Trezor purchase I will definitely do so.
Man it can even be put into a glass of coca cola and nothing is happening. Safe as hell  Cool

Keep it up guys, can't wait for more progress!
269  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Crypto Hall BETA signup. Help us and get free DOGE coins! on: August 10, 2014, 11:49:34 PM
bump Sad

Well, 200 doge is too little and isn't attractive to people, it only worths 6000 satoshi at current DOGE rate. People love free money, so I recommend you to increase the amount of giveaway and you'll cacth more people's attention

Actually I'm picking up quite a few people that are interested.
Thanks for your input anyway.
When we got a little more to spare we will definitely consider it  Cheesy

Greetings,
Nexigen.

Running a wallet/service on Windows, especially not a server edition sounds like a really bad idea. Don't get me wrong, I am a Windows user myself, but for hosting sensitive things, like people's Bitcoins I can only recommend a *NIX server.

Also, you should consider running the daemon, but again, don't go using Windows for a service. Also, you've not stated the version you are using. Latest is 0.9.2.1

With a *NIX host you're less likely to get infected by something malicious, since quite a lot of functionality requires root. Nowadays any EXE you run could be a malicious one. Also, more stability?

Also, if you feel like it, you can send me a tip to the sig address. I wish I could live off photosynthesis, but so far that is scifi Cheesy

Thanks again.
Haha and your last sentence cracked me up.
Photosynthesis would make you green man!

Your reply immediately solved our problem!
We still had version 0.8.5, how incredibly stupid.
Also, we're considering to take a linux version instead of windows. Would that be better?

Thank you very much!!

274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will plummet to $10 by first half of 2014 on: July 01, 2014, 11:25:04 PM
Here is my prediction:

Bitcoin will be 800 dollars and over by the end of September.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Warning: Transactions are possibly Incorrect! on: July 01, 2014, 11:20:50 PM
EDIT:: SOLVED SOLVED SOLVED SOLVED
We had version 0.8.5 while 0.9.2.1 is the newest version, yes we're idiots!

Hello Bitcointalk,

We are setting up our own company and it includes bitcoin payments which allow customers to deposit and withdraw crypto currencies.
For this we have our own server with our own client on it for bitcoin.

The problem is the following error :

"Warning: Transactions are possibly incorrect! You might need to upgrade, or other nodes need to upgrade"

We have no idea what is causing this problem. Especially because we also have a Doge coin wallet which is working fine!

Server specs are:

windows 7 ultimate SP1
AMD A8-6600K
Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H
2x 1 terabyte storage in RAID1

some information:

We started the Bitcoin QT client with the following line: datadir="C:\currencies\bitcoin\bitcoin").
This worked perfectly, but a few days ago we noticed it was still updating, the client kept showing that.
We restarted the server once and it told us it was still updating (we were unable to do any transactions either because the database was corrupted?!)
We tried a re-index. Did not work.
We deleted the blockchain and redownloaded it via the bitcoin client. No results either.
We tried de-installing the entire server and installed everything fresh. Did not work either.
At first sight it looks like it was synchronizing. It can come up all the way to '66 weeks remaining'.
We still have a lot of free space left, so this can not be an issue either.
The whole server regarding hardware seems to be stable and there are no heat issues.

I hope someone can help us.
If there are any questions, please ask them, and I will let our technical guy answer them accordingly.

Cheers,
Nexigen.

No you used virscan.org.

Seriously no one download this. He used a crypter to make undetected, that's why its a packer in the virus scan and nothing else.

I promise you this is not what it is.

How can you promise it is not what it is if you didn't even try it.
Seriously are you stupid or what ?.
This tool has been made with the best intentions, im not trying to hack anything or anyone.
It makes me sad to see that so many people distrust .exe files that much, hence why I made it open source and added a .vbs file.

But apparently, there are still pseudo psychic people like you that claim they know for sure it is not what it is without checking the content.
Before blackmailing someone, at least try the .vbs version if you don't trust it enough you douche.
277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [TOOL] Never miss out on a good Bitcoin Provit again --> WARNBOT V1.0<-- on: November 28, 2013, 03:10:21 AM
This is quite a nice contribution, I myself am a Java programmer, and make one of these for myself just for fun. What site do you use for the information? And do they have some kind of API to make things easier?

Great work my friend. Keep it up.

Thank you WayTooGosu Cheesy.
I'm still extremely new at this. I always wanted to mess around a bit with VBS.
And now that I got into trading, I finally found an easy project to start with.

Umm, I only used this : http://ss64.com/vb/

I was just thinking about what I needed, and looked it up there =P.
Good luck!
Nexigen.

Ahhhw that sucks, I was about to check it out haha.
Well I guess ill come back later.
Good luck solving these technical issues!
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [TOOL] Never miss out on a good Bitcoin Provit again --> WARNBOT V1.0<-- on: November 28, 2013, 02:19:31 AM
I've looked into the .VBS and it is good to use, I cannot say anything for the .EXE.

This is a very tiny tool (for those that cannot afford to download and check the code, it is less than 50 lines of VBS) pooly coded that opens up Internet Explorer, goes to http://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/mtgox/btcusd, asks for a value threshold, and stays in a loop that sleeps for 5 seconds on each round to grab the current price and compare against the threshold. When it leaves the loop, a .mp3 is played and that is it.

Well, not the reaction I hoped for, but I guess the .VBS is testified now, thank you  Smiley.
Apart from summarizing the whole Tool as a poorly coded mess, could you also give some feedback as to what I could add or what I should remove ?.
I really want to continue working on this. (Making the topic, the commentary and the readme file took nearly as much time as the Tool as of now).

Thank you.
Nexigen.
