Based on the article date I would say around mid December
Dec 19 2013 can't recall exactly but it seems about right for this.

Thanks! Charts say that on December 19, the Bitstamp price was 520$ open, 685$ close, 492$ low, 700$ high.  So the price is about back to where it was then.  (I saw some article on that prediction that stated 'currently it is 610$', so that date seems right.)

He may be contrary, but how much do you wanna bet that news of failed predictions would spread once people discover what kind of nonsense this guy is spouting.

This turd knows nothing about Bitcoin, claiming all the crap under the sun. In reality, he wants to try and use his economist position to try and kill the price, so that he can buy all of it and get a 60x-100x ROI. I almost guarantee that's what would happen if any of his predictions came true. He'd buy a bunch, and attempt to have someone else pump it. Luckily, not a single trader believed him, demonstrated with his most recent prediction.

He can always be a contrary opinion, heck anyone can be a contrary opinion, but it's what they say that counts. If he said something more like under $400, I can maybe see some people believing him. But pushing for a $10 amount over 3 months? Good luck with that buddy, lemme know when the date has passed.

Looks like that prof was way off the mark.  The price of bitcoin in the Chinese exchanges dropped 120 yuan, or about 20 US$, in the last 5 hours. At this speed, the price will only reach 10$ by July 7th -- and that will already be the SECOND half of 2014.
