Klopp has some things going under his sleeve, it will be a wasted effort if he doesn't signed any player now. However, seeing that they don't have any business in the Champions League this season, he might want to wait and observe how his boys are going to perform in the Premier League and then make some changes by January transfer period.

They have signed Ryan Gravenberch near the deadline day from Bayern which I think is a great move [1] . They need some fresh players and I feel they have filled in with some good midfielders with potential. Still they are not yet consistent but I believe as the season moves on they will become more consistent. This season they have to make it in CL because that is the minimum standard for a team like that.

Borussia Dortmund will host Heidenheim in the coming week, and they will face an opponent who felt 2 consecutive defeats in the first and second week. It looks like this will be an easy match for Borussia Dortmund.
Even Dortmund is playing at home , at the moment and the situation around Dortmund i will say that it will be not that easy.
Normaly the should or lets say they have to win this game against Heidenheim.

Dortmund are having a tough time in Bundesliga so I also have my doubts here despite having being tipped off as heavy favourites here. They are struggling to find goals lately and I feel they need a good player in the squad to lead the attack.

Maybe its possible that tomorrow already they have a new Striker that is allowed to play.
Rumors from some transfer news pages said that Niclas Füllkrug will be join the Dortmund squad and have the medical check today.
Source : https://www.sport1.de/news/transfermarkt/2023/08/mega-coup-fullkrug-vor-bvb-wechsel-werder-star-mit-dortmund-einig

Will be interesting to see how he performs but clubs likely opts to give the new player time before putting him on field. Could be possible that he might start off the bench but I highly doubt he will be starting. Well anyway let's see how Dortmund change things in their next fixture.

The combo of Declan Rice and Thomas Partey would do greatly offensively in midfied, they will also free up Odegaard to move and roam around opened spaces.
I'm more concerned about the attackers of Arsenal if they would get to convert those big chances.  Caging Bruno Fernandez who is the source will be difficult but Arsenal has to achieve that so they could cut the chances and passes from Bruno Fernandez to these attacking players.

Partey will have a huge responsibility to keep acheck on Bruno Fernandes. Well it's not only Fernandes but also the player on the wings as well. I am glad that there will be Ben white against Garnacho and on the left will have Tomiyasu to check on Antony but it's not about defending only. We as a title contender want to win games and we definitely need our wingers to get in form and keep pressure on opponents. Hope that we will take on the scoring opportunities well to win to get those 3 points but it will be really hard against ten Haag's side.

Cole Palmer's 45 million pounds transfer deal I think was too outrageous for a player of his status but considering his potentials, he could end up to become one of the best players in the English Premier League thereby making his transfer fee a bargain to Chelsea.
We've seen young players of his age leave their boyhood clubs and goes on to become great player and we've also seen young talents like him who ends up as flops to their team and I think the young Englishman will have a spell at Chelsea
Chelsea tried to sign Arsenal's Emile Smith Rowe, but Arsenal refused because they consider them a direct rival, maybe it why they have now turned their focus to Cole Palmer from Manchester city who is not a regular starter for the club and only an option for the manager of the club when Bernando Silva does not play well. Cole Palmer will not also be a regular player in Chelsea, he will share the position with other players, and there will be not champions league football for him with Chelsea, so that may discourage the deal from happening. But so far it looks like the deal is going to happen, maybe we will know in a few days' time.

Smith-Rowe is a talented player so I really had doubts from the beginning that Arsenal will sell him to their rival Chelsea. Also I am sure Arteta has plans for him. He can prove to be crucial for us later in the season. As for Palmer, I also have doubt on this one as earlier Guardiola has said that he is not in the market so I am sure there as well. City are not the type of team to be swayed away with big bids because it is not about money for them unlike other clubs.

Eden Hazard's youth has passed and he was the brightest when he was at Chelsea but his decision to move to Real Madrid made a complete change in addition to his long injury, maybe he was frustrated all this time? This is just my thought.  Cheesy

Many reports say that Hazard prefers to retire, due to the injuries he has experienced. I think it's natural that this is the reason, he can enjoy more time with his family.

Yeah injury, it could be as he is the only one who knows about how delicate his situation is. He is more injury prone now and maybe he thinks he doesn't wants to take the risk again so he  might not want to have a stint like at Madrid all back again with injuries at his new club next. It's over now what it is and I guess he made the right decision. We as football fans always seek things differently but it is always hard for the player given their condition.

Am wondering why most strikers at the age of 32 would be hanging their boots when they still have alot to offer in terms of experience that the younger players can get a thing or two...

And for a skillful player like him, Saudi Arabia wouldn't be a bad idea just to make bank $$$ then call it a day...whatever is going on could be a decision made out of duress and don't believe he wanted this! If this is true, enjoy your retirement sir.

But are there any interests from Saudi Arabia clubs? It is hard to pin down what's going on in players mind also. Some players just don't like to move to Saudi Arabia and rather just choose to stay in European leagues so if there isn't any offers then player might choose to retire. It must be a really tough decision but he made it in the end. Wished could see him back at form like he used to in Chelsea days but guess we won't be seeing that now.

As the things stand in Liverpool's vs Newcastle, it seems Newcastle is playing rather aggressively today and hopes to win the game. With Liverpool one man down, it seems Reds are vulnerable and Newcastle wants to extend their lead. It's a tough task for Reds to win the match but if they plan the second half well then might be able to get some points by the end of the match. Some Newcastle yellow in midfield will certainly turn the pressure on Newcastle which might make things easy for Liverpool.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 27, 2023, 03:40:48 PM
Unimpressive win by City but who cares? Piling up points while continue building and improving that team chemistry is the best thing that could happen to them. That's definitely tough to watch for their fans but getting all three precious points is what matters at the end of the day.

I would still say a sign to worry for Guardiola because as to Guardiola standards 2-1 is not enough to win against a side like Sheffield. Yeah 3 points in this round but will they be able to win the next one with much better opponent. It gets doubtful and doubtful with each round. Productivity has dropped which is a worrying sign for City.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 27, 2023, 01:25:18 PM
Manchester City have won the last 5 matches against their opponent without conceding a goal. I'm sure they will continue this series. Sheffield United's quality is limited. They play to avoid relegation. I don't think they will have a chance against the champion.
De Bruyne won't be around for 4 months. Now Alvarez has a lot of work to do. We see that he started playing in that area. Pep Guardiola played him there sometime last season as well. Let see how is it going to be.

Without De Bruyne I highly doubt City will be able to find openings like they used to in games with De Bruyne. Yes there is Haaland in their team but they need to create chances for him as well in order to score. Sheffield is a newly promoted team but if they do things properly with proper man marking and close the spaces for City to find any opening then I think they have a shot at getting a point here. So far City are having some chances but Sheffield are also doing a great job at keeping them at bay.

The address linked above has also received BNB from an address used by BlackViruse/martyns and another that sent BNB to Lordhermes.

Couple of months ago when I was investigating these accounts out of all the accounts Lordhermes was the one that came forward to remove himself from the account ring. Rest of them- blackened515 and omgitshehe never approached me to remove the feedback which was a bit surprising as if the account owner doesn't cares if he loses this account as he has still got lots of these accounts.

I have yet to update these feedbacks but I have actually put off Lordhermes from the ring connection because he proved to me that he was just doing some exchanges which got him linked to them. Possible that the transaction you got ^^ could be an exchange one but do verify this with Lordhermes.

As for these accounts, I am also sure the one behind owns lot of accounts and probably has a team like the pic we had with group operating the alt accounts to earn from signature campaigns (it would be fun to have that back here again to know what we are dealing with Cheesy ). I would suggest picking some boards these alts have heavily participated in and look for low UIDS or someone with gaps in their post history and maintain a list to track these accounts and take necessary action.

Its no doubt in my mind all of these accounts belong to the same person. Am tagging accordingly.

Interestingly the chain continues backward to include a high profile bounty manager, but without more evidence connecting them to the farm I won't mention them by name.

I earlier found them with one very notable DT1 member and a CM like you have mentioned but it could possibly be exchange transactions because both of them operates exchange threads in their community.

what's wrong with dortmund again? only a draw at VFL Bochum. all the fans expected a win in Bochum. if it continues like this ..... 3 shots on goal against a potential relegated team! that's far too little.

I kind of expected it to be draw when Bochum scored the goal. Bochum had some good chances despite them being on less possession. Dortmund were also poor in finding chances and finishing them as well.

you'll never become german champion like that.

Were they ever? They were so close in the last season but in just one last match when things mattered the most they choked. They have tendency to choke in matches so I have now very less expectations from them.

#there has to be 100% more from the team. so many stars in the team but the team doesn't function properly yet.
even the game against Cologne was only won with a lot of luck. Cologne had the better chances in the match last weekend.

They need a star player like Bellingham or Haaland back again which can perform exceptionally for them otherwise expect performances like this much often in this season from Dortmund.

In this transfer window Mikel Arteta and his teams spent lots of money and they third many people that's why we can expect to see much better performance from this team but it seems they're going to lose a player soon.
Kieran Tierney is going to leave Arsenal soon however Arteta doesn't want to lose this Scottish player Real Sociedad wants to take this player on loan in this season but Arteta said he needs Tierney but he is going to leave soon.

https://goonernews.com/blog/kieran-tierney-arsenal-transfer-news/

There are lot of players for us in full-back. With Tomiyasu now adjusting to left-back it seems Tierney has fallen out of Arteta's choice now. But yeah Tierney is a very good player and a very creative left-back which we can find use in future so good to see Arsenal finding solution with loan here to give Tierney an opportunity to find playing chances in Sociedad. It could be also possible that Arsenal were trying to find solution with selling but there weren't any except for loan so has to accept the loan offer with transfer deadline coming near.

Lol, the match just ended and Tottenham managed to win with clean sheets with a score of 0-2. Obviously, I think Tottenham this season has a refreshment and a different color after Kane departure to Bayern Munich. Because anyway, it looks like Tottenham can be better this season and I hope so, at least Tottenham have a great chance to be able to compete in the top four this season. Happy to get this good result, because it proves that Tottenham can still have a good performance even with a squad that is at least new compared to the presence of Kane in the team.

We just couldn't say yet how well they will perform. Yes they have started well so far but there are still 35 rounds more to go and with injuries that can go down quite quickly as they also don't have proper backup in my opinion. They have started strong so far as they have some good reinforcements in midfield and they are playing some good football. Their defence have been doing well also. Glad to see they are turning around their performance but they have yet to achieve consistency like one would expect from big 6 of PL.

Watching the game, I must say Spurs are fully prepared to face their opponents. Tottenham maintains the pressure but fails to capitalize on particularly of their opportunities to score. Spurs lead 1-0 at halftime thanks to a goal from James Maddison. Tottenham Hotspur are the game's favourites, as they continue to improve with every match. Bournemouth's chances of mounting a comeback in the second half are minimal. Today, James Maddison made an excellent impression at the Vitality Stadium. Spurs sits in the position to score more goals in the second half.

Watching the game too, Bournemouth aren’t doing much considering they’re the home team. Spurs seem better all over the pitch which isn’t really a big surprise. It’s early in the season obviously but Spurs are doing OK without Kane. Maddison looks like a shrewd signing for them.

I would say not much entertaining as I expected but Spurs are playing a good game so far. I can see the improvement inside the team but they still have to work a lot. Maddison and Bissouma are doing a great amount of work for Spurs. Sarr is also a great signing for Spurs. Front 3 has lost their shine which is the worrying part for Spurs right now.

Same thoughts here too, i wouldn’t compare this current Brighton performance to that of Chelsea. Although according to bookmakers the favorite to win is Chelsea but how many times have we seen newly promoted teams coming up to snatch points off the regulars hand. Also this game isn’t as easy as people might thought it out to be, Chelsea and Poch will be out tonight to get there first win of the Campaign something that I think would create a little bit unrest in the Chelsea’s squad and if they don’t hold there nerves they could be a shocker by Luton.

We have seen lot of times when teams with such odds fail to perform again underdogs. I wouldn't be surprised if Luton do actually beat Chelsea or play a draw because right now Chelsea are undergoing changes and have been very much inconsistent. Yeah they might have played good game against Liverpool but the main point is that they are vulnerable and sometimes underdogs can find a way with that. Poch has to work a lot to fix things up - I said that right at the beginning of the season.

Even Toni Kross is not happy because of the offers from the Saudi teams to the famous players and this made. This time the Saudis sent an offer for Gabri Veiga the young player from Celta de Vigo who is a talented midfielder and we were expecting to see him move to the greater teams to grow but this Spanish player is near to joining Al Ahli.
Toni Kross believes that's embarrassing for a young player like him.

Yes it is really. Saudi league is not for young player like Viega who has a lot of potential. He could have moved to some other European team and had improved there but I highly doubt this move will turn out to be fruitful for Viega. One can earn money near the end of their career but player also need to develop and get good achievements under his belt which I hardly think Viega will do by making a move to Al-Ahli.

I certainly do agree with Kroos feelings here. He is 100% right here.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 25, 2023, 03:04:30 PM
I think that Chelsea in this game will "pay back" for previous failures, so I bet on them with a handicap of -1. Home game against a rookie, what else do they need to win confidently? If they fail this time, then I don't know what else they need to win. Luton conceded 4 goals from Brighton, so even the odds of 10 seem unjustified to me to bet on them.

Yeah they should. I hope Caicedo do start this game as he brings a good midfield hold for the team. Honestly I wouldn't undermine Luton as well here as in their first game they started quite strongly. Yeah they lost but they had couple of attacks where they were close to scoring so Chelsea need to be wary of that. Brighton are a very strong team so I understand the massive scoreline but I still wouldn't undermine Luton here at all.

What the heck was wrong with liverpool fans? They were again massively sending protest toward FSG. The latest news about the interest from ittihad to buy salah from liverpool is coming up again.

Quote
Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad have reignited their interest in Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.

It is unclear at this stage if a deal for the 31-year-old will materialise.

Salah’s agent had dismissed reports in early August linking the Egypt international with a move to the Saudi Arabian club.

His representative, Ramy Abbas, wrote on August 7 following speculation: “If we considered leaving LFC this year, we wouldn’t have renewed the contract last summer. Mohamed remains committed to LFC.”
https://theathletic.com/live-blogs/transfer-news-live-latest-updates/Svywco7COtVa/esxtpSrsId8T/

Orstein was also tweeting it
https://twitter.com/David_Ornstein/status/1694728804835766777

Liverpool fans are worrying if salah will be out from the club and join in the ittihad. As we know that how big contribution from salah last season. Many liverpool fans didn't like FSG as the current owned of liverpool. Im waiting for al ittihad to make its move for salah.
There are still enough time for ittihad to approach him to leave from liverpool. It will give a lot of benefit to the rival of liverpool since liverpool was always relying on him.

I can't even imagine how bad liverpool play without salah. Liverpool shall have decreased its dependency on him.  Cheesy

I feel that bid will be turned down by Liverpool. They know how important Salah is to the team and Salah also knows how much Liverpool fan loves him. I feel that despite concrete interest they wouldn't sway the mind of Salah or Liverpool. Ornstein there also states that it is doubtful if this deal will happen but from Al-Ittihad their interests are 100% on Salah.

I personally think with all the players moving on to Saudi clubs right now, I really really hope that Salah wouldn't make the move. I know Saudi league are investing a lot but I feel quality is still in PL and it's a league of exceptional players and Salah is one of them who have been producing some memorable seasons for Liverpool. The atmosphere would break down if this happens and I certainly don't want that.

We were linked with Mount for a long time, I’m so glad he didn’t come to Liverpool though. I don’t think he’s particularly elite at anything. He’s a good but not great player. For the wages he’s reportedly on at United he needs to do a lot more.

Yeah he is not that good to be given a #7 I suppose. He is not that elite also not sure what was going exactly in United's head.

I think United bought him at a bit expensive price tag but that's alright. To be honest, United didn't had a need to buy him but they might need him in scenarios when Fernandes get injured because there is no backup for Fernandes at United. It would be Rashford but then they have to give forward duties to Martial which is not much reliable. For such scenarios I would rather prefer some young talent to given some chances. Not sure if they wanted to leap on to the opportunity or what but I find Mount signing a bit unnecessary.

He’s now out injured for up to 6 weeks too so it gets worse. Give me Mac Allister and Szoboszlai instead of him every day of the week. Mount is another overrated, overpriced English player.

Mac Allister and Szoboszlai are massive signings for Liverpool. Mac Allister is a very strong center midfield. He has great understanding of the game and as for Szoboszlai he is a great dribbler as well. Liverpool right hand side is very strong with Arnold, Szoboszlai and Salah. Klopp is really a mastermind. Szoboszlai and Salah can really pair up very well not in terms of passing sense but also in terms of generating spaces. Just imagine if Szoboszlai is given a rather inside forward role to drive in load of opponent players to free up Salah up ahead on the right....that really gives me the creeps.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 24, 2023, 02:07:16 PM
Mason Mount's current performance in Manchester United isn't pleasing to watch and that's why fans of the club currently believe that his signing was a waste of resources.
But I think the England international will adapt to the playing style of the club in future time. He's trying to adapt to the playing pattern and philosophy of the club. Mount in my own opinion has the potentials to become a great signing for the red devils but needs more time to start displaying the best part of himat the club.
I believe that a player should be given a comfortable role in order to perform to the expectations. Mount has played in attacking midfield most often for Chelsea and at United he is given rather a defensive midfield role so if someone is expecting a very good performance then they have to wait. I think he will adjust to attacking midfield at United very quickly but that position is occupied by Fernandes right now because he is much better option when it comes to creating chances and finding spaces.
