A word of notice to some people in here, might be a language barrier or somethign else but when i see something like this:
"Hey i haven't been PAID this week"
I facepalm myself. You're not being paid, DeepOnion owe you nothing. You may say you didn't received the airdrop, but its not like you fill the requirements they are obligated to pay you guys.
You're evaluated on your contribution to this project, at any time (EVEN if you do the 10 posts of 50 chars and wear the sig) you can lose that privilege.
Im pretty sure if the team feels you "working for being paid" you will not make it. That's simply not how this should work.
So contribute, help others, stay calm and your turn will come!

I like the idea of giving the 40% to all public keys of the BTC, but i would maybe remove the big addys like everyone with more than 100 btc maybe. Otherwise you will give alot of that 40% to exchanges & ICOs out there. They would probably dump them as free money. We should probably aim for < 1M$ BTC holders (maybe even smaller), most of them are pools, exchanges, icos, companies and alike. Some are also big holders but i believe they can afford to buy some BTX if they want some. Or if you at least place a cap of 100BTX per addy, so that way a big exchange that has 50k btc wont have 50k BTX. My two cents on what is going on with supertee. He was a good contributor to this project and we must thank him for all that he did, but like every project hes not the sole person working on and everyone has its own ways of thinking. Its looks like he decided to leave and this is the right thing to do when you're not believing in a project anymore. I still strongly believe in this project even with that little bump and will continue to contribute and support it (i'm buying alot of it as well).
Last year i was pretty active in the LISK project and one of the early adopter (and a whale, he had 400 btc) decide to leave the project, he dump all his coins in a single blow which made the price go down 40% (it was on poloniex and bittrex, about 30-50 btc of daily volume on average). He then explain that he didn't believe in the project anymore and wanted to invest himself somewhere else. Of course at that time it hurt the project and the price went bearish for quite a long time. But you need to put everything in perspective now the project is strongly alive and kick ass and it's now in the top 15 crypto standing at a 700M$ marketcap (it was around 12M$ at its bottom).
So you need to put EVERYTHING in perspective and invest yourself in what you believe, it's totaly ok to leave or to stay as long as you take those decisions for yourself.
Stay true to yourself!
As a part of investing there will always be people that get cold feet regarding anything. I am not really worried about what supertee did as everyone needs to make their own decisions. Yeah i was reading an article the other day on Microsoft IPO (when they got in the stuck market in the 70's) and Bill gate was worried that he could lost some of his best staff if they got in stock market, because they would get "easy money". And he was right, some of his staff left the boat and some pretty loudly, but history can tell that it was a very bad decision finance wise. And you're right, people leaving is part of the process, you can't expect anyone to be all happy together and everything. Just think about Ethereum when Charles left... I believe ethereum is still doing good huh!? |

How did you know he dump? You can see someone dumping around 5k coins on novaexchange.com, im sure it was from airdrop, unless he bought when it was sub 10k, if so hes a very bad trader Many people sees airdrop coins as free money, they get a few drops then dump it all and run. We wont see them again around here. |

I guess that the people that are dumping right now are airdrop members, probably people that got under xsinx radar because they don't seems to care at which price they sell, they simply dump in the buy orders.
I wish these people will regret it later on, but there's a good chance they are already moving on too another coin and won't probably look back behind. I'll have to move more BTC to nova in order to profit from those dumpers...

Yeah i also favor to continue the 3% until they are all distributed. Maybe even include a mecanism just like deeponion has, if you sell above a certain level (in their case its 10%) you're blocked from future drop.
Not sure how this could be implemented thou. Might not be possible with the current distribution model.
Devs, what do you say about the offer of gigabyted about the restriction of sale? Exclude from the airdrops those who want to sell their coins, as in Onion. Is it difficult to configure a script that will control this? In my opinion this is a great idea! Then I agree with the hybrid plan. If not, then I'm against the hybrid plan. Too many coins. This idea didn't work even with Onion. It looks like ordinary pump-dump coin now. Even with Onion? Perhaps without this idea, he would cost 10 sat. You're checking only at the price, check the list of members and ALOT of people are keeping 90%, instead of 100%, so it means that the rules prevent THOSE people from selling. Yeah theres people that will dump all they have, but at least they are getting banned from future drops... So i would say that its working for ONION. |

its 240sec blocktime and 8 ONIONS per block, so about 2880 per day if im not wrong (this is for PoW) PoS is about 10% per year well 3k coins dumped each day will not cause this much of a drop or am i wrong? so who is selling and why at this price Alot of dumpers from airdrop, many people had fake account, some were even found with 9 accounts. If they goes undetected they can do alot of damage. But we are having less and less dumpers. The team is doing an awesome job filtering them out and are getting pretty good at detecting them. We should all thank them for that! The current supply is 3M coins and there's 110k to sell and only 5 btc of buyers right now. So the price isn't liquid at all right now. Hell i could dump all my coins and the price would fall 90% . So the actual price doesn't reflect the reality at all, thats why i was asking for the community to get together and buy a cryptopia listing. The price would be much better right now and people would not complains. (Well its not true since people ALWAYS complain about EVERYTHING, but you get the idea) |

Ive got to admit that at first i was abit sceptical about the other forum, ive been in crypto since 2013 and ive seen this a few times before. But i believe that integrating escrow service as a feature of the forum is brilliant! I haven't seen done before and im sure this will be very usefull.

I didn't even think about that but definitely not giving out the weekly distributions to those selling would provide even more stability to the price than just the simple continuance of the 3% weekly airdrop for 4 months. Maybe another way around it would be to give a % based on how long they have hold the coins, if someone has hold since the start and never sold, i doubt he would run for a quick profit. There's a multitude of ways to see this, but in the end you want to try avoid the weak hands. With a 40% in a single at the end, someone could be 20 btc of it just the day before (or even minutes) get the drop and dump them as fast as he can... You want to avoid that kind of thing as much as possible i think. |

If you put something up for vote, have at least proper choices, the 2 choices that are in the voting thread are not enough, there obviously has to be the choice of slow and steady weekly 3% airdrops till the end, which I believe is much better than airdropping millions of at once which could 1/10 the price in a day,
3% till the end has one little problem. It prevents BTX to be on bittrex or poloniex for 2 years (you need 94weeks to distribute 15Ml). I don't mind not getting on larger exchange for now. If we get there in 2 months and there's no important development, it will stay on bittrex with a low volume and it would get delisted a few months after... Cryptopia is pretty good, until we get solid volume or a nice features sets, i would stay there. |
