Hard to say, could be a flaky internet connection (WiFi?/bad routing path from you to them) or cgminer/GPU settings, do you have the same problems on other pools? do you have any hardware rejections?
actually yes, im connecting via WiFi, but before mining smartcoin I was mining litecoin with about 1% reject with same cgminer config i have same reject in smc.hash.so pool and my HW is 0 in cgminer Try the new config from the main post. We've added a few more nodes.
hey @smartcoin, my wallet is synced perfectly thanks btw Unfortunately I cant be much help then, only thing I could think of is if the crtypo and hash servers are in the same area it might be a routing problem but I don't know anything about their locations. |

I have a 0.6% reject rate (taken from cgminer) and the pool is showing ~98.5% efficiency atm so might be something going on at your end.
thanks @Grrizz, my reject is about 10% since i started to mine (about 5 hours) if there is any other reason at my end, what it could be? What is the best pool with highest hashrate?
Best pool =/= highest hash rate, if you care about the coin doing well try and spread the hash rate around. Sure, but 800 Mh/s... early adopters don't want spread? Its an unfortunate failure of logic that a lot of miners have, they think that a higher block rate means better returns when in fact to get the higher block rate you need higher hash rates which means lower return per hash, most pools will have the same rate of return as long as they have a reasonable hash rate. All this means that one pool ends up with a good portion of the hash rate making it harder for new pools to get in without orphaning and new miners tend to keep jumping on that pool so when the coin gets established you are left with a 51% problem which can be hard to fix as miners then become hesitant to leave their existing pool and new miners keep piling on, happens a lot. It would be better for the coin to have a decent spread from the get go and the funny thing is no-one would be loosing out by doing so. The pools I checked are all 98+/-1% efficient so as long as you are in that range you are doing fine. Personally I'm on cryptotycoons because I recognise them from Noble and have decent hosting with 0% fees. |

As long as your miners getting confirms it should be fine, front ends often freeze on a coins launch... in saying that I'm not on poolerino so take that with a grain of salt, I'm just going off what I've experienced in the past. |

We will not be personally handling the giveaway. I think hash.so will be doing it.
It is also much harder to send 1500 generated private keys each with 45 SMC to all of the emails.
So it is not 60 coins as said before, it is 45 now? The idea was 4500 coins divided by the number of people who pre-registered, on the main page it said ABOUT 60 coins which at the time would have correct being 45 + 15 for the sig but final registration count was 1500 which would be 30 + 15 for sig bonus. It now sounds like they are being generous and giving out 45 even without the sig bonus  |

Cant believe people sold @ 34/40 satoshi few days ago... what is expected from this coin?? will it ever get to 1000/2000 satoshi? Dont have a clue myself on this one....
I think at this moment it's overpriced. It got some publicity on other sites and people jumped in. 150-200 satoshi is far more realistic. In the future, with the market and other services, it's value should rise. On the other hand USDe is grossly overpriced. I agree I think atm 200 sato is quite sustainable however if the current growth trend continues 300 sato could very well be sustainable in just a few days and I believe that's what a lot of investors are seeing and buying them up for. I agree I think it could be worth 400 sato in the not to distant future but at this point in time right now I think 200 is sustainable, maybe 250 taking into account potential short term growth driving investors rising the price... but don't get me wrong I will be disappointed if we don't see at least (but not limited to) 300 sato in the very short term. |

This coin looks like it has potential but I was wondering what the status of the diff retarget was? IMO delaying the release to make it 40s would be better then having to alter it later.
It has already been changed. There was a typo in our original post, we actually meant 40 minutes (60 blocks). Awesome that was my only gripe, now I'm happy to go all in! |

So this coin looks... different... I'm interested to know how miners are doing so far? What are people finding as a sweet spot for mining hash rates? I have 3Mh/s on scrypt which I believe equates to 3Gh/s on SHA-256 (I may be mistaken) is this too much/little to be effective? Other then direct coin to coin trading are there plans in the pipes for stores to encourage transfers? Oh and one more question it doesn't look like you enforce a minimum fee (may be wrong as I haven't tried a transfer yet - no coins ;P) would it not be a good idea for a coin like this to have an enforced fee?
