261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right time for investment? on: April 26, 2019, 02:14:12 PM
Good afternoon everyone, I want to greet everyone here. April is almost over, do you still have plans to invest in cryptocurrency in Quartal 2? What coins are suitable for investing? I want to hear your opinion, and I will make it a reference. Thank you very much for your attention.
to me I would say that it is the right time to invest but you can hold on a little bit to monitor the market movement first. in my own opinion
262  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will Binance get closed down? on: April 25, 2019, 02:50:38 PM
The Fed has closed down exchanges in other jurisdictions in the past. Binance has US customers: This is a NO NO. Craig Wright is no fool and wants Binance out of the picture. Be aware! Maybe hell is coming to Binance: Use them but don’t hold your bags with them: Opinion
sorry but which FED are you talking about? If they want to shut down binance just as you said they shut down other exchanges,  they would have done it before now. Another question is, is binance in US?
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or XRP on: April 25, 2019, 02:39:04 PM
BTC supplies only 21 million, and now there are 3 or 4 million BTC in the system. even though there is a little more BTC, we will also find it difficult to get BTC. then, it will take a long time. 2024 or 2026 are predicted that BTC supplies will run out.

we have to think about the prospect of the crypto world in the future, until today BTC has a function to stabilize the crypto world, but what happened if supplies BTC runs out? is there another crypto that can stabilize and maintain the existence of the crypto market?

I think ETH or XRP will replace BTC. but my prediction XRP will dominate the market more than ETH, I doubt to ETH after the vitalik left from ETH. on the other hand, XRP always develops its platform every time.

how do you think, will the XRP replace BTC and has a very high value of $ 20K like BTC in 2017?
this can never happen,  eth nor xrp can can surpass btc. There is a huge margin between this two alternate coins and btc.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most alts are worth Zero on: April 25, 2019, 02:22:37 PM
The market has realized most of these coins are worth nothing and some promoters have no intention of developing the ecosystem
definitely it's very much expected that many altcoin will definitely drop. So it's quite understandable that this is a fight for survival for many projects and they know and prepare for this.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this another drama ? on: April 24, 2019, 05:30:35 PM
Just like you said it's another drama after Craig Wright billed his. So now let's watch and see if John McAfee's drama will draw attention.  Everyone wants to be the Satoshi,  maybe the real Satoshi is theymos
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping using crypto? on: April 24, 2019, 05:27:12 PM
Do any of you have plans on how you'll eventually spend your crypto?

I'll be using Zeex Cool Their protocol lets you to buy gift cards directly with crypto and spend them with major retailers like Amazon, Starbucks, Playstation etc. with no fees. And they're backed by their sister company Zeek, which is already the biggest gift card provider in Europe, so the platform will be up and running quickly after their token sale.

Here is their website if you're interested: https://www.zeex.me/
zeex is actually a good project which yes I have its token and really want to see more of it. Though there are other projects of its kind like rewards.com which I believe has similar features
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm curious on: April 24, 2019, 05:24:05 PM
Well you actually have a point theymos might be the real Satoshi nakamoto and it would be great if he was. I have also actually want to know more about theymos and other moderators here but since nothing can be found, we are still left in the dark
268  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you disagree?? on: April 23, 2019, 04:16:05 PM
BITCOIN is on its way to 6000usd ... and  before it does.. I wanna say it in advance.. wellcome to the bull run of 2019..

It may not be like that of 2017.. but a bull run is still a bullrun..

I see bitcoin stable at 15000usd before the year runs out   Grin
I disagree with you because you are not a financial advisor neither do you have anything to back your claims. So you are just one of those we saw in 2018 to predict what never happened
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to the future on: April 23, 2019, 04:13:15 PM
In the near future people won't have choice but to embrace cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, whether you are in support or not ,whether you hate it or not ,you will be the one to stand up and embrace crypto yourselves without anyone forcing you to ,adoption is simply adoption ,love it or hate it
I totally disagree with your statements.  As far as I know, cryptocurrency will be an option and not a must. So people will always have a choice even when it comes to cryptocurrency.  Don't ever think it will be mandatory
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay Calm, IEOs aren't a threat on: April 23, 2019, 04:09:42 PM
I have seen projects going for IEOs run a bounty campaign so this explains it all, the IEO is no threat to bounties so there is nothing to be scared of. Bounty has no connection to where or how a project wants to raise its funds.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know what token you hodl on: April 22, 2019, 02:32:41 PM
This is a brief overview for non believers of coin hodling

In 2017, a lot of investors bought binance token at 1$ each and then the token amassed popularity and went to 2$; a lot of incidents and it went back to 1$

In 2018, bnb went as high as 23$, a lot sold at that peak; then it went back to 5$ a lot moaned; many bought back when the token went back to 5$

Now we all know what’s happening to bnb tokens

The basic thing here is... Know what you are holding. If you are holding a good project, no matter what the ups and downs are you will always win in the long term. Holders make the most profit.

NB: This are my opinion and my idea; feel free to contribute; then dyor and trade and invest wisely
you are right, but the question Is how to know a good token. You talked about bnb because is has tested time. Can you analyze other tokens? To let us know which is best to hold or notto hold.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: April 22, 2019, 02:26:01 PM
2019 has been a year with mixed feelings for crypto enthusiasts. A lot of bounty hunters have now switched over to trading, because bounty is longer profitable.
Some that have combined the two (both bounty and trading), while larger percentage are still into bounty, despite not being profitable.
I envisage that in two to three years to this time, the population of people on bounty will reduce drastically, because it will no longer be profitable as it used to be.
you are right but I don't think anyone can combine bounty and trading looking at  the nature of trading and the amount of attention needed in it. You might have to spend lots of time in monitoring trading and have little or no time for bounty
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid money on: April 22, 2019, 02:22:40 PM
A minor fall of BTC and stupid money goes panic selling.

Get it into your head:
-unless you have a really really really large investment in  BTC, BTC won't bring you as much profit as the best alts that have not already been too pumped up will
-BTC is not end all of all crypto. It is important but crypto does not depend on it
-crypto will not die, it will grow much much much bigger so stop panicing!
-if you chose good alts, you have nothing to panic for! If you don't trust you chose good alts, you shouldn't have invested in the firyt place
-buy BTC with FIAT!

to me panic is a normal norm as humans. It's only very few who mighty not panic. If you have something on stake and knowing you might loose it, gets you panicking it only takes a stronger heart
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will ICO's do with those unsold tokens? on: April 19, 2019, 01:09:13 PM
I have seen many ICO's selling tokens for cryptocurrencies. What will they do with those unsold tokens at the end of their ICO? Some say they will burn it so no one can use it. Are they burning it or is it really the good to burn those unsold tokens?
depending on the projects, many decides to burn token if it became unsold while some choose to keep it for future references. Also others may decide to to distribute it to the investors
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to the future on: April 19, 2019, 01:01:06 PM

there will always be a choice as far as life in general is concerned. Cryptocurrency will always remain a secondary option for people. Don't make this mistake of thinking that people will be compelled or forced into crypto or blockchain as the case may be.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO on: April 18, 2019, 02:48:41 PM
Do you believe in IEOs nowadays more than ICOs back in 2017 ?
everything that has an advantage have a disadvantage. IEO has its good side and bad side since IEO guarantee security and a better means to raise funds but it has showed it's weak side or should I say it's red flag in the case where many small investors finds it difficult to invest
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC defeats the purpose of Crypto. Thoughts anyone? on: April 18, 2019, 02:43:11 PM
The KYC process annoys the hell out of me. I remember a time when you could trade coins freely and without owning up to your identity at all. Not that I'm hiding anything, I just don't like every man and his dog having a copy of my government ID - I feel that's very intrusive. I mean the whole idea of cryptocurrency was anonymous peer-to-peer trading without government intervention. Now it seems you can't fart in the wrong direction without someone breathing down your neck.

I mean I get it, exchanges, ICO's, etc, want to be on the safe side -- although what I really object to is these places accepting my crypto first and then telling me that I need to give them a mugshot if I want to use it, or withdraw it again. It's a nightmare.

Anyone else a bit miffed with all this identity craziness we're in right now?

Or am I just being a grumpy old man?
if you keep having phobia for kyc you will keep having problems with many projects. This is the only process to end scam. Tell me since the existence of so many scam projects, how many solution have you rendered to end it? And also to talk about other scammy hunters and users
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I deposit 37001 whitecoins to cryptopia exchange this week by mistake on: April 18, 2019, 02:34:50 PM

Below is the part of our communication

supporter:

Hi ljscdx,

Thanks for contacting Cryptopia.

If this was sent after our cutoff date of the 16th of January 2019, I would recommend reading the article we have on our Knowledgebase about this, here: https://support.cryptopia.co.nz/csm?id=kb_article&sys_id=58ce178fdb10bfc084ed147a3a9619a1. This goes into detail why we will not be recovering anything that was sent after the 16th of January, 2019 (NZT).

In light of this we will not be recovering this deposit for you. We will not be entering a debate about this, we warned all customers not to send anything to any of your Cryptopia addresses, but you still chose to anyway.

Kind regards,

Cryptopia Support Team

279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to sell off your crypto investment on: April 17, 2019, 03:23:44 PM
I would say that knowing when to sell all depends on you and what you want to be honest.  You know where you expect your investment to reach to take profit so I do say it all depends on you target. If you hold an asset which hasn't reached your target you may choose to hold it more longer or sell.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Should I Expect The Next Bull Run? on: April 17, 2019, 02:45:26 PM
I got into Crypto July 2017 , as newbie i was much afraid so i never took the risk so 2017 bull run pass over me .. 2018 the expectation was really high  so i took the risk but things fall apart .. I invested $5000 in Altcoins last year but right its  worth  less than $400 ..  I know one  day there is going to be another bull  run .. Should i expect the bull run this year or i should  expect it in three years time  !!
there is no when on bull run and I enjoy the fact that it doesn't come when expected. The failed 2018 expected bull run showed a lot of positivity and market free of manipulation.  So I suggest you stop looking for when and start investing wisely
