Binance operates its licence in Malta. So why should that affect it? With its innovation and security, I don't think Wright's whining will do it any harm. BTW, if push comes to shove the American customers might be asked to withdraw their patronage and that won't shake the exchange an inch. Binance is a strong viable exchange. I don't have any worries about them.
You are underestimating the power of the US. They caught the CEO of btc-e.com in Greece and shut down btc-e.com. USA basically owns every .com domain out there. If you commit a crime while using a .com domain they can find and jail you no matter where you live. Binance uses a .com domain. If they find out something fishy about them, USA can indeed shut binance down. Binance doesn't trade fiat currencies, does it? The UK can only close you down if you are trading dollars. Btc-e for example was an unlicenced exchange using dollars.

This is impossible because Binance is not registered in the US, Binance may be banned in the US by the Fed but it will still operate elsewhere.

The Fed has closed down exchanges in other jurisdictions in the past. Binance has US customers: This is a NO NO. Craig Wright is no fool and wants Binance out of the picture. Be aware! Maybe hell is coming to Binance: Use them but don’t hold your bags with them: Opinion
Binance has grown beyond the limits of someone bullying them around The customers are amass Even insurance plan Not to mention connections and partnerships; Bchsv delistment is a global warning no to mess with binance

sorry but which FED are you talking about? If they want to shut down binance just as you said they shut down other exchanges, they would have done it before now. Another question is, is binance in US?

Sucks to live in the US and not be able to just use any exchange, like we in Europe do. An American buddy of mine is always complaining to me that he can't really invest in most ICOs legally.

If Craig Wright becomes the new governor of Malta then yes he can close down finance. Can't see it happening myself but you never know what his ambitions are

Closing binance will have major effect on the cryptocurrency world. It can cause a major upset that will affect all cryptocurrency prices as it is the number one exchange for trading currently. I can't see it happening to be honest. Binance isn't under the jurisdiction of the USA so closing binance is a dream.

This is an attempt to spoil the reputation of Binance. Simply put, fud. This exchange has become so strong in crypto that it can only be killed from the inside.

Very funny, we all know the brains behind binance exchange, they are no newcomer to cryptocurrency, the CEO was a early bitcoin investors, and till date binance is the best and moreover U.S has nothing to do with binance

I don't see any reason Binance will willingly choose to close their exchange, as we all know currently Binance is one of the best among all exchanges, Binance had grown more than closing down this time.

why did you open a topic like this?
currently Binance is a world class exchange and the top exchange, why they want to close their exchange and why it should be closed while their exchange is at its peak. and they developed BinanceDex Exchange, it doesn't make sense for me if Binance closes. if it closes maybe need a long long time again.

Binance is actually growing and it remains the best altcoin this year in terms of performance and grow. I have see new developments and the fed is not making any move against binance. I think the cryptocurrencies market is been attacked by governments and financial regulatory authority but that do not mean only binance will be selected for shutting down.

I highly doubt it but lets entertain this situation. This would give the crypto space a major blow, but there are some legitimate alternatives that would rise up and try to fill the major void left by Binance. But nah, CZ knows what he is doing.

Binance will live and today I already understand this, because I see how quickly and rapidly this project is developing and how the main developer behaves very competently. I see that there is great success in this matter.

Anything is possible as long as there's enough money and power involved.
No organization in the US, not even Congress, messes with the Fed. Because nobody messes with private banks.
So if these folks decide to wage a war on crypto, it's going to be ugly. It could include attacks on exchanges as well.
Bittrex now has a International version made for non-US customers. So exchanges always have a way to comply.

The binance exchange is one of the biggest that exists today and for closing I think this is the wrong thing because until now binance has continued to grow and more and more attracts cryptocurrency enthusiasts

There's no way that they are going to close down Binance especially with all of their recent announcements of partnerships for compliance both AML with ciphertrace and KYC with Identitymind

Binance is one of the most authoritative exchanges, and any negative impact on it will have the worst consequences for a very large number of traders. It is not enough to believe all the rumors about Binance, but the possibilities for the United States to influence the situation are certainly great.

I doubt if that'll ever happen although anything is possible, that aside binance is among the best top ten exchange in the world.
