261  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Africans should channel more energy in being more resourceful on: May 30, 2019, 04:16:36 PM
Let not forget the issue I raised in this thread which is all about Africans as an individual to get themselves motivated and stop depending on the easy way out or depending on aids. I do know there are issues afflicting Africans and this issues are very severe but that should not be an excuse to at least be self reliant.
And the foreign world has played there part in rendering aids but from the looks of it this goes beyond that. The corrupt politicians in Africa is something the world needs to look into because on the long run the effects can be felt every where with African youth engaging them self into underworld activities like internet fraud, drug peddling in various part of the world and so much more vices because of the hard conditions of the country.
And Africans that had expanded there horizons in other country's can come back and invest in Africa there by creating jobs.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is successful? - this one statement sums it up! on: May 29, 2019, 08:22:23 PM
Facebook, apple are very successful company's with almost all the point mentioned in which made bitcoin successful.
Bitcoin is successful and would even cover more ground latter on basically because of the idea behind it and being a pioneer and also it gives it users privacy and makes easier what when using the orthodox transcation process seems to be hard and slow
263  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Africans should channel more energy in being more resourceful on: May 29, 2019, 04:38:52 PM
that wont solve conflicts in africa. actually
You are correct it won't solve the conflicts in Africa but come to think of it I never said it would solve the conflicts in Africa, the conflicts here are endless and like the saying goes Rome was not built in a day. The self resourcesful means is just but a step to better life for africa
264  Other / Politics & Society / Africans should channel more energy in being more resourceful on: May 29, 2019, 04:22:06 PM
I am African woman myself from a rural area in my region where the mostly see women biggest goal in life is getting married but through all the hurdles thrown at me I turned it into energy saw my self through schooling without giving in into unnecessary begging, or selling myself out I rather seek knowledge I was always here and there in one function/small scale investment program  or the other right now I own a little school of my own and am into cryptocurrency and it's at least sufficient for me

Now back to the matter for so long the international world has aided Africa and the big questions are will this continue for eternity? And is this making African less self reliant.

Africa is a very much a blessed continent truth be told early civilization started in Africa (Egypt) but the current developed countries took and made good use of there resources and are enjoying the fruit of there labour now.
Poverty, war, religious beliefs, bad government, low standard of living and the list goes on are plagues that are afflicting the continent. Aids has been made to at least help by the outside world.
But I would say rather than giving us cake teach us how to bake. It's time Africans stop getting baby sitted  and start getting resourceful. No matter how little get working. It all start with changing ones mind set. Think positive then back it up with hard work and am very positive those giving aid would be very much interested into driving the aid into very good entrepreneur ideas.

265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There isn't always a clear reason why BTC went up or down on: May 29, 2019, 03:38:35 PM
Wise point created by the OP the fact remains that at a point the price of bitcoin can be influenced by factors most time unforeseen by many like you correctly stated the example about the whales and there activities.
So I have been longing to ask this question at to regards the OP post. Those this mean that bull market and bearish market are just figments of our own imagination since at any point the price can fluctuate
266  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [VIDEO] - BITCOIN Next Stop $10,000 ? - Crypto Trading Analysis & BTC Cryptocurr on: May 29, 2019, 07:11:51 AM
Let's keep that as speculation, It's all looking bright for the cryptocurrency market and bitcoin but let's not throw down our guard and be caught out of place by this very unpredictable market. Trading analysis can contrast from one analyst to another some are done just as a scheme to advert their project(exchange, wallet, ico etc) be careful while making your decision
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: May 29, 2019, 06:52:15 AM
Gambling is like a two way path way, you win or lose but I would advice you to always gamble according to what you can withstand do not gamble irresponsibly.
Try to draw up a stop loss that's a limit to what you can lose at a particular period and split your capital you can drive some of your funds into other investment areas.
Gamble wisely
268  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips for newbies, who want to avoid over-quoting on: May 29, 2019, 06:40:47 AM
that simple task of removing unwanted quote helps to give a better look to the thread.
Also no one has to visit doctor for their finger pain, which caused by scrolling.  Wink
Lol. Some users are inconsiderate about the stress and pains caused to others by there hazard quotations appear.
I know this is not formally against the rule and can't be reported to the moderator except the follow write up is unwanted or spam.
But logically it's a good thing if users can adopt the value of doing things rightly
269  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠ Fair.Poker | Provably Fair Bitcoin Texas Hold’em | HTML5 | Play Now! on: May 29, 2019, 05:57:57 AM
I think it's better if you can give a demo account to every new player so they can test the game before they make an account in your site.
Learning poker will not easy, especially for people who don't know how to play poker, although I found out that you give free short learning on how to play poker.
The site design is simple, and I like the colour because it does not look too complicated.
I see also the math calculation on the site, and it was too difficult for me to understand.
Well, OP, a nice site at all, good luck on your project.
I don't think you are right if anyone wants to learn about poker it should no be through this site  one can learn poker through going through the internet, meeting up with poker players and seeing this for themselves and when ever they are ready they they registered in a poker site like this one and start to play
270  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does Decaying sMerits will be healthy for the forum? on: May 28, 2019, 05:53:19 AM
The fact that an smerit is decaying doesn't mean it should be given out irrationally. Any member that needs to rank up should not glutton on other users decaying smerit.
If you ask me the merit sources has been up and doing and even non merit sources has also be involved in the circulation of merit.
You would not be give a merit just because you need it to rank up but you would be giving if you come up with something good
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are the strong candidates who will get this year's Ballon D'or trophy? on: May 28, 2019, 05:29:07 AM
Regardless of the fact that Barcelona had a very embarrassing outing at the second leg of the semi finals meeting with Liverpool at anfield and bowed out if the tournament and still lost the final of the copa Del Rey final. Individual no one deserves the award than Leo Messi. He has the highest individual statistics than any other player this season and also has LA liga title so my best pick would be him
272  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit for Crypto (and other) Knowledge (no guide threads) on: May 27, 2019, 06:24:40 PM
My help this time would come as reply's to post created by individuals seeking answers. The answers I gave might not be perfect or stink of professionalism but to some extent it would enlighten the owner of the thread and any other interested reading seeking same answer

274  Other / Meta / Re: Post quality - evaluation on: May 27, 2019, 02:49:13 PM
From your first deleted message the post state that the product by Bitman would soon be introduced but you went ahead to make a reply that you have been going through the site(well that improper for a starter)

And the second post was in a nut shell showing your appreciation. Reply's like thank you, good/great job, I love the post, I will merit or I have merited  the OP. With out really adding substantial stuff to the reply would likely be deemed unfit by mods.

Inconculsion mods delete messages that the feel is of low value and improper.
You would learn alot form this discussion about quality posting. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2605767.0

I choosed the beginner and help board to post this information as it's the most likely board for merit giveways threads. Hope I get my message across.

Most recently merit give away thread started are moved by moderators to the off topic section.

Your message hold some quality in it. But I would like to add that there should be a standard for someone to start a merit give away thread so that the whole idea of merit give away wouldn't be abused or used for ulterior motives.
276  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐---CRYPTOBETCASINO---⭐ on: May 27, 2019, 01:49:58 AM
Entered your site and although I hadn't registered  it seems easy to register, not much information is required but am still not clear about the safety of the funds being deposited on by an account holder on the site and is there any form of minimum cash out attached to the fund because most casino or gambling site stick a minimum withdraw amount
277  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Report Bitcoin spam (scam) and other coin addresses! on: May 26, 2019, 07:38:04 AM
Also be careful guys, even if you input there bitcoin address in the bitcoin spam site and still do not get any report about the address previously duping anyone that does not confirm its genuine, scammers are calculated people and it would not cost them a thing to create a new bitcoin address.
Where most time the flaw is in format when a scammer notice that a particular format to extort funds from people is working he/she tends to adopt it. Once you see this type of scam format as stated by the OP it's very much advisable not to pay and report.
Although the are other format that new so when you see any suspicious link, person, or message try to talk to professional, or seek security advice
278  Economy / Gambling / Re: Simplest bitcoin lottery, totally free, no registration required, real-time on: May 25, 2019, 02:10:47 PM
Here is another new bitcoin lottery. The site is so simple and cheap what's the possibilities of paying out winnings to winners, am guessing there is no so much capital in your purse judging by the fact that the project is in need of support.
Rather than support why don't the project present it in the format of a partnership this would be more effective
279  Other / Meta / Re: Spamming Announcements section with fake replies!! on: May 25, 2019, 06:53:04 AM

280  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Google Finally Removes 2 Fake Cryptocurrency Wallets From the Play Store on: May 25, 2019, 06:33:30 AM
Why gamble when trying to get a cryptocurrency wallet some newbie are found of making the mistake of changing wallet maybe after then had experience a slight delay in there previous once or the saw a fancy new one.
Before getting a wallet verify it's quality, standard and reputation. Browse about it see what others are saying about it don't just go to play store or apple store and type "cryptocurrency wallet" and install and start using any random wallet you find attractive.

Here are some good wallet in no particular order
1. Trezor
2. Coinbase
3. Luno
4. Electrum
5. RobinHood
and there are still others. And when trying to get any wallet be sure you have spelt your intended wallet correctly so as not to get redirect to a fake scam wallet, check every letter correctly

Quote
Lol. I don't see how you see both of these wallets as "good wallets". Both are custodial exchanges that could simply lock up your funds if they wanted to. And to add to that, you can't even withdraw your funds off RobinHood. RobinHood is mostly just for traders who aren't planning on withdrawing BTC. Time to do some research first? Tongue

I have an idea that both of them are exchanges that also serve as a wallet and the can get there users funds closed at there own discretion, but far there have not and they have had a some good remarks although I use luno and would recommend luno above the rest. Adding this two is just to make vast the options.
Also permit me to put a disclaimer to them. It's advisable to do your of crosscheck before using the services of any of them
