Guys, Expecting TZM Global to "endorse" a particular cryptocurrency, is the same as aligning the TZM Global ranks with those of any government over a given traditional currency. This would be plain wrong (given the goals of the TZM), and does not mean in any way that ZeitCoin is domed to fail or even the other way around. What we should focus on: establishing ZeitCoin as a means to trade amongst those that want an alternative to the traditional markets (bank & politics controlled, etc). The particular emphasis should be on the supporters of the TZM, because the same general principles have given birth to this coin. We need to keep it fair, accessible to all, and focus on the value of the open source concurrency as *one step forward* with making traditional currency obsolete. Those looking to make a quick buck on mining/trading ZeitCoin should definitely look elsewhere, as the main support group here (and the reasoning exposed on the dev announcement), is to create a long term and community backed currency, and not another pump & dump show. I am currently mining with modest hash rate, and buying some, using less relevant cryptos at the exchange. Will be happy to donate/share to individuals *outside* of the cryptocurrency community, as a way to get more people involved and debating on the merits of an open currency. PS: Have a great time at ZDAY, make sure you keep the tone positive, and engage as many people as you can into considering what measures the movement can engage with *today*, to move away from the traditional currency methods/abusers/etc. This is what I see that ZeitCoin can offer!  Cheers, Myagui I understand what you are saying, but to accomplish an eco-system, you need to have a community and investors. The zeitgeist movement was and is the only option. Otherwise Zeitcoin is just another cryptocoin. If this doesn't change and you don't get any investors on your side, this coin will slowly die. I'm still hoping that it will be different (haven't sold any coin). I disagree we can still have an active outside adoption by different organizations accepting our coin. We also have a strong community and that is key if we band together we could have more active people than you'd expect keep in mind a decentralized cryptocurrency is a solid way to ensure fair trade with anyone worldwide which is essentially breaking down borders and putting everyone on the same playing field. A global free trade equity resource is a very big thing and if our community stays strong and grows we can achieve many things together more than any of can probably imagine at this point. |

Any word on the block explorer and coinmarketcap?
Block Explorer is up for now however we need to migrate it to a new server before we release it to the gen public as it will surely crash we put it up there for wrldcoinindex and coinmarketcap which is putting us on there today we believe and we are still waiting to hear back from coinwarz as well as we contacted them today. There is an unofficial one but it is not keeping up with our chain so i do not want to release it to the public either give us time once we migrate to the new server and ensure it has enough power to handled constant views/refreshes/as well as having information pulled from it non stop by sites like worldcoin and coinmarket then we will release it |

I am focusing today during the day to contact sites like coinwarz etc to get us more exposure to hopefully get more awareness for our coin and focusing on that. Giveaways and bounties are still going to happen as we have stated however it was eating up too much of our time at the beginning this is a crucial time for a coin and needs to generate a good buzz in this culture which is where we figured we should focus our time. I am sure anyone that is an active supporter of the coin and wants it to succeed would agree with us. If you are waiting for your bounty to dump it then so be it however we think that is a mistake as there is nowhere for this coin to go but up. you have to understand that they dont understand what crypt-currency really means, they will see it like any other currency and associated to the problems of the current system
it needs to be presented as a technology and a way to abstain from using and feeding the current institutions, government and financial.
its a tool, a means to an end, a deliverer of power to the people

A dedicated external forum is great but lets not neglect this one! its done so much for us already.

There is no such thing as bad publicity. I expect that you will take heat for sure, but again invite them to join us in a debate, just say to them great we need your opinion on our forum so that our members may better understand where you are coming from! stroke egos do what you need todo but just get them here so they can see one of the best communities that exists on the crypto world.
Also in terms of the value of zeit, the way the coin is structured will make sure that it increases in value for sure, the only thing that TZM would have done was catapult it forward but then may a draw your attention to AUR and whats happening that side. Also what im realising now, from what one member said, many TZM members dont do much hense the low activity on their fb page, so if TMZ did take a better stance i feel we would have gone through a honey moon period but then shit would have hit the fan (excuse the french), however if we as a community make contacts and connections this would be way more beneficial. Its like choosing to work for someone or work for yourself, yes working for someone has its benefits but at the end of the day someone else always gets the credit and u earning someone else more money but its safer. working for yourself is high risk but the rewards are greater and no one in the crypto scene is here because they wanted to play things safe, your money was better off being spent else where if thats the case haha ZEIT FOR THE WIN

being in line with what TZM purpose is or what TZM advocates is very different.
We can be both cant we we can discuss where to donate our resources to to help move humanity forward can be many things including new technologies but also feeding the poor is there really a defining line where we should stop or should we actively promote the bettering of humanity by donations considering we are a currency we can take the same approach yet utilize our core basis which is our crypto currency |

I made it very clear to Peter that no one has lied - that we were in fact in discussion about you guys attending ZDay with a booth. TZM Global is saying they were never asked - so I responded that I had forwarded all the info you sent me to the core team in Toronto (of which I am a member). From there, one of my fellow core members said he forwarded it on to the global team for approval. When I asked to be looped into that email thread, he told me legally he had no obligation to do so (legally!!). And thats the last I heard about it until now. And now the global members are saying they weren't informed….
This will be the last of my participation with TZM Toronto - organizing this has been a total eye opener for me. I'm really sorry that they took your approaching us as a threat. I really think your intensions are honest and have nothing to do with fraud.
If you want you can volunteer with us and that will get you into ZDay for free and easier access to having open discussions with people about your concept. |
