261  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Very innovative BTC/ETH scam ongoing live, right now. on: March 22, 2020, 01:18:09 AM
Help? Most people won't learn. They just can't use others story and learn from that. They need to encounter some sort of bad luck first. Again, most people won't learn from their first experience; they keep falling for scams upon scams. I don't wish anyone bad luck of falling for scams but, if that's what it'll take for you to be careful and mindful of the things you don't then that's OK by me.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's price, and mental health. on: March 21, 2020, 06:54:46 AM
The price of bitcoin directly depends on the mental health of investors. And in such cases of panic , the price of course falls.
I'm still striving to understand this... Lol... How does the price of BTCitcoin depend on the mental health of the investors? 🤔
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fraud crypto analysts! on: March 19, 2020, 11:42:04 PM
It's cool to see how he's been pointed out. I just went through the twitter threads and go to know more about what went on. But then, I kinda think this isn't the right area for this thread. (just saying; don't take it personal).
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC + Corona on: March 19, 2020, 11:31:30 PM
Of course it did. In my country, public figures gave advices for people to invest in bitcoin. This dip in the price of bitcoin made it more popular cause people have made several statements about it. I'm sure that some newbies already invested. And now, I hope the price goes up ASAP so they can make their gain and tell their friends about it too.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Store your bitcoin on: March 18, 2020, 03:48:00 PM
It may be long before the price of bitcoin would increase (if actually Covid-19 is behind the dip). Because the rate at which the virus is spreading is just uncontrollable. The more it spreads, the more the price dips (if actually the dip is caused by Covid-19)
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 17, 2020, 11:12:50 PM
This may be the very last time bitcoin would go this low. Besides, I don't know how Covid-19 affects bitcoin (tho they say it everywhere). I heard that Covid-19 isn't responsible for the dip. Someone told me that it is because of the dip in oil price and some issues the US is having. I don't know which to believe; Covid-19 or Oil price dip. However, bitcoin isn't doomed! Watch it rise! 😉
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Friday the 13th unlucky for Bitcoin too! on: March 17, 2020, 11:08:10 PM
Bitcoin’s Price On March 13th

2014: $633.62

2015: $294.35

2016: $411.62

2017: $1221.38

2018: $9205.12

2019: $3909.16

2020: $4968.99

You have to take a look at the past before you go forward to predict bitcoin’s future price. Assessing this pattern and the current market fluctuations, what do you think will be the bitcoin price on 13th March 2021?

It isn't about the way the seem to reoccur or something like that. Cryptocurrency is volatile. If you want bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to increase in price, you need to do what I call "spreading the word". Tell people about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Tell them what it has to offer. The more the adoption, the more the demand. The more the demand, the more the increase in its worth.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the best place to watch cryptocurrency courses? on: March 17, 2020, 11:05:01 PM
The best way to learn is by researching and watching some YouTube videos. Some videos on YouTube are somewhat more informative than you could be thinking. Besides, what aspect do your really want to learn? I believe we've got geniuses here.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tyler Winklevoss: BTC is not a hedge to pandemics on: March 17, 2020, 11:02:59 PM

https://twitter.com/tylerwinklevoss/status/1239255301171314689

Do you agree on Tyler's view? personally, this is what we have seen obviously, when global markets are affected, every assets are going to be impacted as well, gold and oil for instance. And. this is new ground for bitcoin, we have never seen this before. The use case that we have witnessed is the Venezuela crisis, not a pandemic like this so I'm with agreement with him

Talking about gold, I'm not really sure (tho gold should be affected too). The last time I checked, gold price just had a slight decrease. Unlike bitcoin whose price has been sort of slashed in 2.

272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin through SMS/Text Messaging? on: March 12, 2020, 10:19:40 AM
Immediately I read this, I felt the possibility of it. To me, I believe it is 100% possible to create some sort of automation that can send people bitcoin through text messages. The wallet must be linked with the phone number and I believe, the phone number would send some set of codes which gives a go ahead for the transaction.
Since internet connection is to be eliminated. A system that can used the text message fee charge to replace the internet connection would be employed..... I'm just saying tho.. But I really believe it's possible.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think, India lifting the ban on cryptocurrencies will impact BTC Price? on: March 12, 2020, 10:05:00 AM
From my own perspective, YES; It would have an impact. This is because a lot of Indians are into the crypto world. Some of them are bounty hunters, some of them are traders, etc. If the ban is lifted, all the Indians who were not sure to step in or step out would be know their grounds and I'm sure they are many of them. I still remember seeing some comments on a thread where some Indians were complaining about the ban. That alone shows how enthusiastic they are. And mind you, this impact could be negative or positive. I just hope that the ban be lifted (for the growth of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and for the betterment of all Indians).
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever lost access to your Bitcoins? on: March 12, 2020, 09:57:37 AM
This is one of the most painful thing that can happen on the blockchain. I'm saying so because it's very painful to see Your Own funds through blockchain but can't access them. And always most painful when the funds are much. Hence, we all should be very³ careful about our bitcoin wallets. Sometimes it could be your phrase and other times it could be that you sent it to a wrong wallet address. Once you create a wallet, back it up on up to 3 different reachable places. And when sending bitcoins, be very sure that you are sending to the rightful wallet address because 𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨'𝗩𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗕𝗜𝗧𝗖𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗦, 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗡𝗢 𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗧 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 (𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗢 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗦𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗦𝗛𝗜 𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙!)

276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another successful Bitcoin seminar! on: March 10, 2020, 09:02:56 PM
What was/were the topic/s in the seminar though?

The topics were what is bitcoin, uses of bitcoin, how to earn (or buy) from bitcoin and other related cryptocurrencies, how to be careful with their funds in their various wallets, and some other crucial points.

Quote
Do you plan on making another seminar for older people that are quite enthusiastic in technologies though?

No, I don't plan on such. Before that, I should know a lot. I'm only sure of being able to talk to newbies.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another successful Bitcoin seminar! on: March 09, 2020, 06:01:01 AM
Well done! I have read your post about the previous seminar you held with your schoolmates. I really think that you are doing a great job here and I hope you continue to educate and never stop inspiring your community to strive hard, to be able to maximize the benefit that they can get from Bitcoin. What you are doing, which might be just small to the eyes of others, is a significant movement to the mass adoption of Bitcoin we are all yearning for. Keep up the good job and always try to brainstorm on how to improve the organization of your seminars in order to get more attention and full participation from the audience.

Surely! Conducting seminars is quite a good way to promote bitcoin. Tho the average seminar has to do with a lot of audience, I'm OK with the little audience because they have the zeal. It's better than having a lot of people show up but not truly serious. You can also hold seminars too. Try it (tho you should be careful of who is invited).
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another successful Bitcoin seminar! on: March 08, 2020, 09:45:18 AM
I did followed your first post about conducting seminar and i know thats also a successful right?and now another one was done and again successful.
So i believe that you are making way to the mainstream mate?by helping Bitcoin community for popular and letting people to be aware of what is this can provide us in future.
I hope that the next time you made a seminar will be attended by multiple people compared to this recents because your  hardwork deserves fortune.

Thanks a lot for your kind words. I actually prefer talking to a group of people who are serious and zealous than talking to hundreds of teens who I'm not sure would be interested or not. Besides, holding a seminar with much people won't bring me fortune because I do not charge people. I do this for free. Why? Well, I do know that asking for some fees might be cool but can make the participants to think that you were all about the money. So since I don't charge then money, I also tell them that I don't have any direct gain from telling them because if they sign up on bitcointalk, make a bitcoin transaction,  or do some bounty tasks here, I won't be given referral bonus / bonuses.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another successful Bitcoin seminar! on: March 08, 2020, 07:33:09 AM
Whenever I see some success seminars like this, I always admire the lecturer and the organizer. I remembered last year December when we (together with my brother) presented some slides and explanation about bitcoin within the family. It is a great feeling to show how Bitcoin really works, how can we earn from it, etc. And mostly, younger generations are really interested about this.

Thanks amazing!! I'm pleased to hear this. I hope they listened attentively and understood perfectly.

I just do hope, we can also conduct seminar to the other audiences like you did. Spreading such knowledge about bitcoin and the technology behind it will give us fulfilling feeling. Nice to see the seminar you held was a success one. They only pay for the edibles? How about the venue?

Conducting a seminar is a good idea. If you could speak to your family about bitcoin then you can conduct a seminar too.

You asked about the venue. Regarding that, they only paid for the drinks and pies seen in the photo. So, that was a sort of an eatery and buying those things gave us the ticket to use the place for our purpose. You can use the idea too.... It'll save the cost.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another successful Bitcoin seminar! on: March 08, 2020, 02:23:45 AM
Nice one! It's a good part tbh. No matter how big or small your audience is, delivering correct information is always a plus. I expect you to become quite a famous leader and provide more talks out there, with how even with a small audience you're obviously giving it your all. I also like how you actually invited people who DON'T know much about cryptocurrency. Seminars are meant to inform and educate, so obviously, inviting people to listen to you that already has abundant knowledge of Bitcoin defeats the purpose of it all. Still, Congrats mate!

Talking about the audience, it was intentional. We don't want to have a hundred people come for it and later loose interest, so we selected those that showed the highest zeal for the seminar. And just like I said, they were very zealous. I just hope the zeal doesn't die off. Though we'll be backing them up to make sure they understand more and more.
