I missed out on all BCNEX trading competition. But congratulations to all the winners. I guess BCNEX would be amazing at launch with little or no bugs and a nice outlay.
You haven't missed everything because there will still be 6 round that will start soon and you still have the chance to join

Just 5th round completed.  6th round just started now and there will be two more round after the 6th one. You still have chance to participate.

Please I would like to know if there's a reward for everyone who participate in the competition, or the reward is solely for the winners. Am not very familiar with trading competitions and don't expect to win in the competition.

I just realized that the trading competition is still going on and I am checking details about it. What I understood is,  rewards are for only winners. ETH will be given to top 2 useres (based on the current winner announced)  and other people who make it to top but below 2nd position will get BCNEX tokens.

This competition is meant for those who are skilled in trading, I just noticed that only the top 10 participants with the highest volume are entitled to the reward. The competition has been effective in increasing the popularity of the project and I believe that the necessary testing of the trading platform is also addressed.

Competition is not limited to skilled traders,  it's open for everyone.  I agree that only skilled traders will be able to win this competition. But it will be fun for everyone. I will surely try it

Like you mentioned that this is electronic device and can fail any time.  What will happen to my tokens which i will be storing in this device and this device fails?

In addition to what Pmalek has already written, every electronic device is susceptible to malfunction, Ledger hardware wallets are no exception. This is why there is a backup (24 words - seed), with which you can at any time recover your wallets. It can be done on any supported hardware wallet or desktop / mobile wallet.

Your coins will be safe to the extent that you are paying attention to their safety. Actually you should know that hardware device is only store your private keys which allow you control over your coins. Coins are always stored on blockchain, so you need to keep safe private keys, in this case your 24 words seed.

Thanks Lucius a lot for this valuable information!  For a moment I was scared.  I thought I will lose money if that hardware fails.

Thanks @pmalek as well.

Im curious but do you know how often they have these updates?  I had no idea the old update from 1.2 was that long ago.  So basically if someone doesn't touch their nano ledger s for a few months... its generally still safe right?

If you're interested in history of Nano S firmware updates you should search for that info on internet, but since this is not something you like to do I find something which should satisfy your curiosity. By this article firmware 1.2 is released in October 2016, and after that we have only 4 updates (correct me if I'm wrong), so we can say we have an average of one firmware update per year.

You can keep Nano S in your drawer as much as you want, it is important that you have your seed. But since this is electronic device subject to failures, good practice would be to check it several times a year.

Ledger is working on new firmware for Nano S, and will be available this summer.

In addition, during the summer we will roll out a new firmware update to continue enhancing security along with new HSMs to improve application management performance. We are also working on adding ERC-20 tokens in Ledger Live.

Supporting and Improving the Ledger Nano S

Like you mentioned that this is electronic device and can fail any time.  What will happen to my tokens which i will be storing in this device and this device fails?

kriszz50983, you should just follow these instructions : Set up your Ledger Nano S. It is important to write down your 24 words seed, it is backup of your wallet, so check all words very careful. It is also important to write down you PIN, you will use it every time to unlock Nano S. If you have latest 1.5.5 firmware ( you can check it in Ledger Live), there is no need for any update.

Everything else is actually very simple, just take some time and go step by step Wink

Thanks for the information!  One thing,  where I can check if I have latest firmware?  Will it show once I plug in to system?

This is my first day in crypto world, looking for few good projects. I visited the rating sites and then checking project with 4+ rating.
Hiway also received good rating so came here to see what others say about hiway.

I must say welcome to the Crypto world. The Cryptocurrency industry is very dynamic and flexible. You made a very good decision to check what people are saying about the project before making a decision. That's what you must always do to avoid getting burnt in this space. Welcome ones again, I do hope you enjoy your journey in this industry.

Exactly, Before making any actions or decisions specially if you're going to risk something that you are not really afford, you must study, read, learn, and make more efforts to make it sure.

In this industry, learning and studying should be consistent and continuous, every experience is necessary to have an all round understanding of the market. The industry is for those who are willing to develop a mind of scepticism by testing all truth and information before arriving at your decision.

Thanks a lot guys for your guidance. I do understand the risk associated with crypto investment. Hence I will do good research before investment.

I’ll like to see what BCNEX would offer the world by exchange of cryptocurrencies. Have you been rated by any of the top ICO rating projects? I’ll like to know what’s your rating?

I think no rating is presently available. Thats unfortunate. However they raised good amount already which is very much positive.

What difference these rating makes? I mean How good these rating sites are?  Can we trust them or only consider it as just opinion and do own research?

Having an STO is great. This would be the first Exchange STO I’ll be participating in. Well, having a great plan and having a focused and experienced team is another, what plans do you have for promotions?
Is there a bounty or Referal program? If yes, I’ll like to be a part of the bounty.

What is STO?  And what benefit it has over ICO or IEO?  I am new to crypto market so trying to get familiar with all terms.
