Can you tell us how you calculate the exchange rates for non major currencies like MXN (Mexican Pesos)?

I took offline my two FPGA a long time ago, but I am now wondering if they can be used for altcoin mining? Any guides or suggestions?

Bitstamp replied yesterday. My $64000 has been recovered and currently exchanging back to bitcoin as I write.
I had made a terrible mistake when I filled out the withdrawal request. I put the "example" account number (as provided by my bank) in the bank account number form line and the real account number I put in the "beneficiary account address" where in fact I should have put my POSTAL address here. This caused the funds to be transferred as the account was actually valid although my name is not on that account.
Even though it was my mistake perhaps some data checking was in order. If there seems to be a bad postal address and instead there is what appears to be an account number, maybe some clarification is in order.
Regardless of this positive outcome, I wished Bitstamp would have been more prompt in their support tickets. It took 7 weeks to get the issue resolved whet it should have been 2 at the most.

Bitstamp just replied: Their bank has still no results from the wire trace. They will update me as soon as they hear news from their bank. Oh well, communication is still alive.

I regret to inform that Bitstamp has yet again fallen completely silent on my issue. They were going to do a trace on the wire transfer and even charged me 25 euros for it but...
NADA.
After 6 weeks Still missing $64000 USD
sigh

Is there a way to reset the password via email? I resetted my password Friday due to the mandatory request but now I just cannot remember it.

I requested a transfer trace Monday. Bitstamp replied yesterday that they have asked their bank to do the transfer trace and will get back to me when they have a result from their bank.
I hope it doesn't take too long.

I requested the details of the wire they sent so I can check with my bank. And thats what they replied.
|
|
|
I asked Bitstamp before requesting the withdrawal. if they could foresee any problems sending this amount to Mexico. They confirmed that there would be none. I also asked my bank if there are any restrictions or limits in international wire transfers and they told me there would be none. At the most I might have to fill out a form declaring the source of the money for AML requirements.

I have 6 comic book stores in Mexico called Fantastico and Comicastle. I don't currently accept bitcoins for purchase of goods but I can trade bitcoins for cash and viceversa.
The stores are located in Monterrey, Guadalajara, Ciudad Satelite, Queretaro and Mexico City (Col. Del Valle Sur).
You can find me as 99Percent in Localbitcoins.com and can deal in fairly large quantities if needed.
If anyone is interested in setting up a conference o forum for bitcoin in Mexico I am more than eager to participate and help.

Thanks to all,
I finally got a reply from Bitstamp today. It was nothing that they couldnt have sent me in a more timely manner.
Clearly they are understaffed in their support department.
I am still missing the money and will probably have to do a trace.
All these complications just show how weak and cumbersome fiat transfers are.

I made my first ever large fiat withdrawal from Bitstamp and the experience has been a nightmare. On November 15 I requested a $64000 withdrawal and it finally was processed and confirmed November 20. However the funds never arrived to my Mexican bank (Santander). After waiting patiently a few days I opened a support ticket requesting some sort of documentation that shows that they have sent the wire transfer. ZERO response on their part. Its as if no human being is working there. Its been 20 days and somewhere, someone has MY $64,000 USD and short of asking how to proceed with my lawyer I don't know else what to do. If there is someone at Bitstamp that looks into the forum (hazek?) please PLEASE have someone take a look at ticket ##28362 or ticket #30569 as I had asked in this thread before: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=343608.msg3802076#msg3802076UPDATE 12-12: I finally got a response today. UPDATE 12-18: A transfer trace (cost: 25 Euros) was requested. UPDATE 12-31: No results yet from the transfer trace. UPDATE 01-14 The withdrawal request was badly formed on my part. The funds were sent to an account that was not mine. The money has finally been recovered.

Thank you hlynur
I am going to have to threaten legal action. I hate to say this but I don't recommend using Bitstamp anymore because whatever issue that might have caused this doesn't excuse ZERO communication on their part.

I am missing a large fiat withdrawal from Bitstamp since November 20 and nobody there replies to my support tickets.
Can anyone suggest a course of action?

someone at Bitstamp, please resolve ticket #28362, it has been almost a week with no response whatsoever.

I think we need to find a name for an intermediate unit between 1 BTC and 1 Satoshi - 0.0001 BTC
mBTC or µBTC are just too awkward.
How about Nakamoto? or just Naka? or Moto?

My apologies for the length of this post, but I believe that it sums up what is broken with the Foundation, shows it is essentially unfixable, and includes at the end a call to action to form a new, democratically-constituted ...
Lost me here.
