Wolfs GPU XMR miner farster than xmrig?
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ryzen 2600 XMRig how to get extra speed on: February 20, 2020, 12:25:29 PM
What do you think about free monero miner Xmr-stak-rx? if possible, can you please try and share your expert opinion on it?

i try xmr-stak-rx after start it alway benchmark  i try to put command but it not work.

if anyone know how to fix it please tell me.

Ps.my ryzen 2600@4G on xmrig run around 4300-4700 h/s Xmr-stak-rx will run faster?

i saw in roadmap

Q4 2019
Community Poll on remapping the emission of BitCreds and changing from PoW + Masternodes to PoS + Masternodes or PoW + PoS + Masternodes
Community Poll on PoS details (inflation, rewards, etc.) if approved at the previous Community Poll

right now have POS or only Pow and Masternodes?
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: x4 GPU for start what i have to build cpu mobo psu ? on: February 17, 2020, 11:20:57 PM
As far as I know, system RAM requirements doesn't depend on DAG size. I wouldn't buy more than 4GB for this reason.

i think it ok to buy 8gb   today 4gb -8gb price not different too much like couple year ago.

I have been trying your version of CCMiner for a bit now.  Normally I use Trex as many do, but thought it does not hurt to give it a try.  I won't know too much for an hour or 2 while the switch stabilizes and hash levels.  I do have some questions though, so I figured maybe I should ask here if that is alright.

I mine with a partner (my oldest nephew) and he is in a different part of the country.  The last 3 days we have been solo mining Zcoin at 2Miners.com.  We jump around like most miners do I suppose, but for Zcoin we always comeback to 2Miners.  Anyway, this question is specific to solo mining Zcoin and Luck. In a nutshell, my partner has found 3 blocks in these 3 days, and I have not found any.  I am actually hashing higher with about 60Mh/s and he is about 45Mh/s. Since no ones luck is that good, with less to work with. I am trying to figure it out.  Our equipment is the same, he just has less GPUs then me.  We use the same mining software (Minerstat) with as I said, the same hardware.  The single difference I can think of is networking.  He is on super fast full fiber optic at 250 Mb/s up and down.  I am on 100 Mb/s down and only 10 Mb/s up.  Since sending shares is what a miner does, his share must move like lightning and my like a slow freight train.  I think this is the reason.  What is your thoughts.

This other question I hope is right up your alley. Would you know if there is any possibility of integrating multiple GPUs where mining software sees multiple GPUs cores as if a single entity.  My though here is if that were possible, there should be a great advantage solo mining as the processing time per share should be divisible by the number of GPUs in the cluster, not considering difficulty level changes.  I admit, this is out of my somewhat shallow experience in shared computing using data/task parallelism, but if it were possible, I would have to think it may actually be quit significant in all of mining as well, not just solo mining.

That's about it.  Thanks for providing and working to improve your version of CCMiner to us miners.

-Rodger

100mb/s is good for mining  i not think it different about 100-250/mb in  this case is not about internet speed maybe you try other port(or choose sever to near you) in 2miners.com

mining need network stable go to check how long ping to sent to server and it have reject or not.

i hope this can help you.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon vii / RTX 2080 Super.? on: February 14, 2020, 07:38:05 PM
I agree the AMD RX 400 and 500 are a pain in the ass, but my 40 AMD cards are still hashing eth 3 years and still going.  You should look at the RX 5700's Ive bought 15 open box so far for around 280 - 330.  They can make a over a dollar a day on eth, Grin 31 and 60 cents on zcoin.  That's better then a 2060 and $100 cheaper.

Anything special about the 2060 KO other then price?

gamer nexus say some card maybe have big die like 2080

make performance better than other 2060 in workstation  maybe it make mining faster too.

271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Low hashrate (11mh/s) RX470 after HDD change on: February 12, 2020, 08:13:16 PM
Hello all ! I have a bad situation with one of my rig ! My hdd is bad and i changed it with another one (new). I installed all the drivers but when i start mining with claymore , my GPU only runs with 11 mh/s ! Before this happened they goes with 29 mh/s ( they are overclocked) What is wrong with them ? I tried to copy the bios but they said that is the same bios ... Any ideas ? Thank you in advance !

Sorry for my bad language !

https://imgur.com/nkFSH3O

so weird did you flash bios in all card before change hdd?

i think hdd is less effect for mining.

PS.maybe you try to change vga driver version.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon vii / RTX 2080 Super.? on: February 12, 2020, 07:32:01 PM
this is my opinion

if you have experience in mining you can choose redeon vii(but i recommend 5700-5700xt)

hard to config in first time (modbios, config voltage) if done config everything run fine you can forget about it and go to trade only.

because amd card have less coin to mine and less software to mine when compare to nvidia.

for me im choose nvidia for easy config only overclock and under voltage

and when you use more than 2 years before out of warranty you can sell card to gamer for good price more than amd card.

Hey

I am coming back after I sold out at 22 satoshi after we had a fight over graphic design.

Now You fools are at 1 satoshi or 0 and daily volume 3k USD.

After all tell me now that You have made a good decision keeping all the power to overrule community vote on changes we wanted to undergo.

Now this is dust... too bad because once this was a great community but as always idiots ruined it.

no one know the future

at the beginning i think everyone think crypto currency not have value it need time to proof maybe in couple year btcz go to 10k sat or maybe go to 0 sat.

280  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does Rooted Mobile Devices Good or Bad? on: February 10, 2020, 10:06:07 PM
Very interesting discussion. In past I wanted to root my phone, mainly because it had very little memory available, it was occupied by pre-installed apps that I didn't used, so I wanted to remove it. But I didn't tried it because I had little knowledge and was afraid to brick my phone.
But now I don't see many reasons to root my phone. I use stock Android (Android One series) which comes without pre-installed bloatware. And another reason - I don't want to lose warranty.
It's really not recommended or suggested that your warranty is not expired yet and you can't root your mobile phone to avoid losing warranty unless it expired already and your warranty is not valid anymore then it's okay to root your phone if you wanted to. It all depends on the person. I have read many replies in this thread and most are suggesting that mobile phones is not recommended to root when your mobile phone is a new model unlike the old ones which don't have full control at all or atleast some.

i think today everyone root because it come with custom rom.

don't worry about warranty if flash twrp when have problem you can flash rom back.

when phone have some problem you can flash original rom  before sent to phone service.
