261  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Server Power Supply Interface Board - for standalone miners and GPU rigs on: March 04, 2014, 12:19:19 AM
I made sure that my new "deep" scrypt mining frame supported this board.

PMs sent.   Wink

You got my order? ... Haven't received a PM ^^ ...

accessories for the 20 miner case, are 4 industrial power supply, 2 usb hubs 10 port & at least 2 controller ...

will there be enough screws and mounting possibilities to mount them all in the case ... ?

Er, I only sent PMs to those I hadn't been in contact with before.

The one-tier case has 575x515mm (22.5x20-inches) of "floor" space, while the two-tier only has 310x515mm (12x20).  The 310mm/12-inch width of the two-tier case could be increased some to help mount all of the "accessories."   Wink

The slots in the support beams accept M3 nuts, but I have no idea with regards to the length(s) of bolts that are required to mount the myriad of other hardware.  Just let me know, and I will include them with the case.

Do you sell these any more? I emailed you in Janurary and you told me I was approxmiately 4 weeks away on the waiting line. It's been over eight weeks now and you don't reply to any of my messages.

I emailed you twice a few weeks ago. I PM'd you here about a week ago.

I am building these as fast as I can.  I have a new version coming out that will help reduce manufacturing time.

I will be in touch.

Nice model, IHMO it could be really userful make the rigs stackable and cut some cost from the classic shelf...what do you think?

Thanks.

Yes, these are stackable.
266  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Multi-tier open-air case for Gridseed miners on: February 24, 2014, 12:10:38 AM
Purchasing the materials for these in less than 18 hours.  Send me a PM if you are interested.

Thanks!
267  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Two-tier open-air case for Gridseed miners on: February 23, 2014, 03:17:16 PM
Any interest in making a variant that stacks 10 on top of 10 so that the floor space is halved?

268  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Two-tier open-air case for Gridseed miners on: February 21, 2014, 12:54:24 PM
Interested but the dimensions aren't quite what we are looking for.  Would much prefer something that fits within a standard data center cabinet (19"x27" max)

Ok to sit on a shelf?
269  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Two-tier open-air case for Gridseed miners on: February 20, 2014, 11:49:39 PM
This doesnt make much sense to me - the manufacturer will probably have a single-board, 40-chip design soon enough that is a lot more stand-alone then a ton of little cylindrical heatsinks
I'm not a fan of these miners either, but I've been asked to create a case to help organize the cable mess that these inevitably create.   Grin

Construction materials, price, availability, dimensions, assembly required, shipping weight, cable management options? So many questions. Smiley

All anodized aluminum construction.  Positions of all of the lower beams is adjustable (to facilitate mounting all of the other HW required for these miners).  Mounting tabs for 2 PSUs.
Price is $120, plus shipping from NH, US.
Available in 2-3 weeks.
The cases are approximately 23x20x7-inches and 12x20x7-inches (W x D x H).
Ships as a kit (un-assembled).
Shipping weight will be < 4 pounds.
The case is designed around cable management.  The power and USB cables connect to the miners in the wider areas, between rows, and then fed down into the lower tier.

EDIT:
The two-tier case is now available at GAW Miners.com.

I'm planning on building a very limited run of this two-tier case for Gridseed miners:

(This model doesn't include the miner's cooling fan.)
Model A:

Model A (left) B (right)

Miners up top, everything else in the lower tier.

Stackable.

The cases are approximately 23x20x6-inches and 12x20x11-inches (W x D x H).
Ships as a kit (un-assembled).
Shipping weight will be < 4 pounds.

Let me know if your are interested.

Here's another version for scrypt mining.  One "case" holds 20x fan-less miners.  Pictured is an example of how 3 could be stacked:

What are the little red boards in this picture?

Drillbit Systems boards.

Lately, I've been focusing on manufacturing just my open-frame trays for scrypt mining.  I might build another batch of these in a few weeks.

274  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: January 30, 2014, 12:17:48 AM
I post this in honor of rjk's Mining Rig Extraordinaire (the Trenton BPX6806 18-slot PCIe backplane)
Full thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=64450.0 (thread just popped up to be ended and locked)

Final image before he ran into some kind of 11x GPU card limit on the motherboard backplane. Truly legendary!

That case was a fun project!

Have you verified that you can mount a GPU on risers in a 4u case?
276  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [FS] **Version 2**: All aluminum open air case for BitFury miners on: January 11, 2014, 08:06:38 PM
Shocked  That looks amazing!  What's the lead time on these cases?

Hard to say actually, I build small batches of these intermixed with big batches of my trays for litecoin mining.

Spotswood - Are you still fabricating these?  Would be interested in two more of them.

Yes.  Ok.

why don't you do your tray cases anymore?

I'm building all of my open-air cases (for litecoin/bitfury/asicminer) as fast as I can.  Currently, there's a 5 week long waiting list.

Send me an email to get on the list.

Anyone have a link to a mechanical drawing of that powersupply?

Please add at least 2 mounting holes, for M3 or 6-32 bolts.

Whereabouts and what for exactly?

I design and build open-air cases made from aluminum t-slot extrusions, and I could foresee someone asking me to build a case for them that uses this board.

Two M3 holes in a straight line anywhere on the board would suffice.
