Multi-tier, open-air cases for Gridseed miners

I'm planning on building a very limited run of this two-tier case for Gridseed miners:

(This model doesn't include the miner's cooling fan.)
Model A:

Miners up top, everything else in the lower tier.  

Stackable.
All anodized aluminum construction.  Positions of all of the lower beams is adjustable (to facilitate mounting all of the other HW required for these miners).  Mounting tabs for 2 PSUs.
The cases are approximately 23x20x6-inches and 12x20x11-inches (W x D x H).
Ships as a kit (un-assembled).
Shipping weight will be < 4 pounds.
The case is designed around cable management.  The power and USB cables connect to the miners in the wider areas, between rows, and then fed down into the lower tier.

This doesnt make much sense to me - the manufacturer will probably have a single-board, 40-chip design soon enough that is a lot more stand-alone then a ton of little cylindrical heatsinks

I'm not a fan of these miners either, but I've been asked to create a case to help organize the cable mess that these inevitably create.

I made a wooden rig for myself which looks like your last drawing.
Better dissipation of heat is with the configuration on the upper floor (fan down).



So I can confirm this kind of design works.
