261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Old mobo PCI-E 2.0 and new AMD 5XXX cards work? on: March 22, 2021, 01:36:20 PM
Do not worry yourself much, even if you have a core2duo PC which is too oldy today it will still works, I have one now and I'm running three cards on the core2 motherboard ( rx580 x2, gtx1660Ti ), risers works neat on the motherboard with no hiccups
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why low mining result? on: March 22, 2021, 01:34:04 PM
I don't like binance pool  Angry I feel cheated using that mining pools days back because I was looking for a way to avoid withdrawal fee, after moving to Viabtc and a better improvement, you can see the exact hashrate you are mining at but not on binance, too complicated for my liking
263  Other / Beginners & Help / Scammers always hunt for the greedy ones on: March 21, 2021, 06:24:37 AM
Imagine how painful it is when you lose money to scammers simply because of your own greed, here is another new verified scam that's presently ongoing on binance exchange via P2P trading

There are some buyers and sellers on binance P2P platform that are willing to buy coins from you who are greedy at 2x price, for example 1 USDT = 1 $ as we all know it but they are ready to pay 2$ to 4$ per 1 USDT, DIA and even ETH... Imagine selling your ETH at 1,700 x2 and people thought it's genuine, here is a sign and still some don't know

And binance always warn to never release coins unless you verified payment received in your bank account but some went ahead and release coins before they receiving cash, here are some regret words from greedy ones

who dares pay you 300$ for coins that worth 100$??? Like seriously I don't blame these scammers but the greedy sellers who want to make 2x gain without any work just like that

Don't hesitate to check buyers feedback, some are well rated as they have no dubious attempts in mind

Also do not release coins unless you receive deposit in your bank accounts and also find fair buyers that buys at normal rate, nothing is for free in this world, if something is too good to be true it's 99% certain that it is a scam.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Beware Linzhi Phoenix is a complete scam on: March 20, 2021, 08:01:14 AM
The Linzhi phoenix miners are real but sales are not open I believe

Here is the real website info that I know of

https://linzhi.io

https://t.me/LinzhiCorp

https://t.me/LinzhiCorp_News

But I doubt that the miners will be out spread this time around, why wouldn't Linzhi keep the miners to themselves at start mining in this period? I'm sure that's what they would do
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Beginner miner having some success, some hiccups, any ideas/tips? on: March 19, 2021, 05:10:19 AM
Do you know how to use mining calculators? You shouldn't the mining RVN in the first place because it's less profitable for your gpu,  Nicehash pays out in BTC why can't you just stick with Nicehash? Also Nicehash can switch between the most profitable coin to mine too
266  Other / Meta / Re: Have you ever noticed that some of your posts are gone without being told ... on: March 16, 2021, 06:40:59 AM
If the original post is deleted I believe that every comments under the original post will be gone as well, correct me if I'm wrong
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm wondering if miners will go away in the next few years ??? on: March 16, 2021, 06:37:18 AM
Miners will definitely go out ones there's nothing to mine anymore, though I believe it will still take a few years before all bitcoins will be mined, other coins that are minable will still also take several years, but if the entire crypto system should switch to proof of stake system, this means that sooner or later, all crypto that are minable will have their coins mined and there will be no more coins to mine and miners will definitely go away and look for other things to do for a living.
That is if no more new PoW coins are created anymore and all the old Pow coins go PoS, I don't believe this will happen though because mining is huge compare to PoS for so many, it just works and it's oldy too, I believe both PoS and PoW algorithm will be here for ever as crypto stays alive
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to Fix this? on: March 14, 2021, 06:50:40 AM
A simple reboot can fix this mate, you don't have to uninstall driver
269  Economy / Economics / Re: Bangladesh militants use Bitcoins for laundering money to Kashmir on: March 10, 2021, 02:46:28 PM
Let's stop making it look like there won't be money laundering if there is no digital currency, Fiat have been used millions of time for money laundering, terrorists fundings and illegal things as well, if any country can put ban on crypto because of this they should put ban on Fiat as well
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: TT-Miner issue. All GPUs are disabled error on: March 10, 2021, 07:18:38 AM
I don't know about this TTminer, in fact this is the first time I'm hearing the name, for Ravencoin i use NBminer and it's very easy to configure, maybe you should download NBminer? It works without adding any extra things unlike some mining softwares
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions That You Would Like To Ask To The Developer Before You Invest on: March 09, 2021, 09:19:40 AM
every developers will always be a complete stranger until they prove otherwise, you don't want to invest on projects just because the dev answered all your questions, they are still nothing but promises
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Phoenix miner is compromised on: March 08, 2021, 07:51:48 AM
This isn't speculative, NB team are just been more careful and to me they did have good points

1. The Phoenix miner download location changed
2. The control shasum does not match the published value

Let's not forget that Nicehash is a victim to hack in the past, I expect them to be more careful from now on
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it ok to get suggestions on how to sell a used mining rig on: March 08, 2021, 07:44:00 AM
You can use ebay, a friend bought 12x RX580 from a miner through eBay at very cheap price in 2020 and the cards are all working, it was around 150$ to 170$ at that time, you will sell it faster on ebay without worries about escrow service
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: xmrigs pointed to Monero gui wallet for past week finally get all synced 0.00xmr on: March 07, 2021, 07:18:31 AM
You want a better advice? Stop using pools with high payout, find small XMR pool with low payout like minexmr pool or add better CPU to start mining XMR, the higher the hashrate the faster your payout will be
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does repairing your own mining cards stress you out? on: March 07, 2021, 07:07:57 AM
It's not stressful to pull a gpu apart, all you will be removing is the heat sink, how is that stressful? I've repaired two GPUs before with a pressing iron and it worked, the gpus still working due to high temp and I use the iron to sit the chip back in place, there are some videos on youtube about it
276  Other / Beginners & Help / Still planning to build a mining rig? on: March 06, 2021, 05:06:40 PM
Crypto mining future looks uncertainty right now because ethereum is the best in this part as we know it, EIP1559 is coming and we still don't know what impact this will have on miners, the London upgrade is said to reduce miners reward down to 30% or even 40% so miners have three more months, my advice is do not build any gpu mining rigs for ethereum mining purpose anymore because 90 days of ROI is impossible right now
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Present condition put up a blinding veil in miners faces on: March 06, 2021, 07:56:53 AM
In 2012 John and peter planned to mine bitcoin but they let go because it wasn't profitable, if they managed to mine while it wasn't profitable imagine the gains today or even years later, what kind of miner are you? If you aren't preparing for the long term shot don't even bother
278  Other / Beginners & Help / Some quick advices for crypto newbies on: March 05, 2021, 03:50:49 PM
Quick advices for crypto new comers

1. The best time to build a portfolio will always be in bear market

2. Hold top altcoins with good potential for long term purpose only

3. Never get tired of holding top altcoins cos they will surely pay off, there are many holders that sold too quick before 2021 gets here and look, here we are and btc is more than 40k

4. Don't bother building mining rigs when ethereum  mining have become profitable for months already and difficultly have rise up so much, meaning you will be buying a 250$ gpu for 600$, yes it's happening with rx580 8gb right now, care more about making your ROI back fast before bear market gets here.

Honestly some are still rushing to buy GPUS at high price, are you even thinking?
279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first journey with crypto wallet on: March 05, 2021, 03:39:33 PM
Somehow the so called fake friend managed to safe your recovery seed either through taking a snap or storing the words off head, yeah some people are that smart, this type of friend can do harm to anyone I would advise to stay away completely from such person, thanks for sharing
280  Other / Beginners & Help / There is more that meet the eye on: March 04, 2021, 01:48:31 PM
Wondering how some loses their recovery seed to hackers without sharing their phones with anybody? We've seen many fake crypto wallets on playstore but there is more that only limited people know about

Stop using downloaded keyboards from playstore, they are easier to build and these keyboards safe words that you type through them and send them out to the dev, builder or whatever you would like to call them, few even have syncing function with your Gmail account, you have no idea what this keyboards are capable of

Stick with keyboards that followed your smartphone instead, I did my best already
