261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins With Low Trading Volume? on: February 24, 2019, 03:19:13 PM
Is it very bad if a coin has a low daily trading volume?  The known coins have at least 6 figures or more traded daily at the very minimum.  And of course btc and the top 10 coins are traded in the millions and even billions daily.

If a coin has low trading volume, is that very bad?

Nor is it true that the low volume is a bad thing for a coin. However, unless altcoin has a low volume below $ 10k / day, I think it's a very bad signal
How can you say if that was not true? In fact the volume is everything in the crypto. The developers paid a big amounts of money to listed its coin on the major platform to get the big volume to provide the best liquidity. That makes sense if low volume means bad for crypto.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum back in number 2 on: February 24, 2019, 02:39:51 PM
Finally, the ethereum again firmly ranked second in terms of cryptocurrency capitalization, now it is again the first one after Bitcoin. Personally, I am very happy about this, because the ripple definitely should not be on 2nd place.
if in my opinion ethereum will be number 2 crypto in a long time, because ethereum is a good coin and has a bright future so many people or investors use it
Ethereum is used as a method for almost all ICO projects, I believe it will have a good future! Currently, I am still supporting and holding it even though the market is still in a downtrend
When all of these platform that used ethereum will create useful product to be used by the community and that will create a hyot to ether, But that's need a lot of effort to do that and we have faced another instant dump again.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future for cryptocurrency? on: February 24, 2019, 02:33:03 PM
With blockchain data can be stored in a decentralized public book.

With cryptocurrency, we can make anonymous transactions without centralized intervention.

If you add speed and spread to the public, then the future is cryptocurrency.

How do you think?
Many coins have that feature already, including privacy coins so I think you don't need to look at the future because it's already happening as we speak.

hence the future of the crypto currency will be very fast because over time many people and countries have received crypto currencies so well that crypto enthusiasts are increasing in the world
Through use the technology it can spread very fast, we know that just need 10 years for bitcoin to be adopted by millions people in the world and this will be even more in the future consider the bitcoin still not yet known by all of people around the world.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Two Mayor Short Term Future Predictions on: February 23, 2019, 10:44:36 PM
I am not sure I agree with this:

Quote
Internet of Everything will lead to unheard amounts of data needing to be transmitted, processed and shared, today’s centralized data systems are not ready for this task. Instead, distributed and decentralized systems are perfect for managing these amounts of data and processing.
https://quantum1net.com/my-two-mayor-short-term-future-predictions/

There will be a lot of data to be shared and processed. I agree. But, how will decentralized system handle this huge amount of data when we know how bad the scaling in decentralized systems currently is? How are they perfect for this task?
Do you think that quantum computer is a real thing? How about the possibility for quantum computer to thread crypto. I guesss thousands TPS can handle it. Remember not all of things will always run on its own way dude.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I stop using some exchanges on: February 23, 2019, 03:06:16 PM
Im never good at trading ,always lose money but how about those who lose money due to exchange been hacked? Well thanks to new exchanges that only support p2p ,no profiles ,no emails ,no passwords, they are the safest out there ,this is why I'm so hooked with changelly since 2016 ,so use this kind of exchanges and you are safe from hacks and phishing who is with me? Other exchanges that are like changelly are ethershift and tokenmom ,there might be others too

I am quite curious on some people's reasons of choosing some not known exchanges. We already got our bestfriend, Binance. I've been attempting to try Bittrex last December 2017 (the month for the bull run of Bitcoin), but there was loads of user registering in their site making it overloaded so they decided to disable registration at that moment. Now that I had established my day trading account in Binance, I don't know if I'll still consider it though.
I didn't know TokenMom but may I ask what tokens or coins were you trading at that exchange that made you not register in Binance instead?
Not whole of tokens are listed on binance and they have no choice if their coins have already traded on another exchange site. If binance doesn't listed its token and can they trade it? That makes sense why so many people are still using another exchange site.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question to all ICO investors. on: February 23, 2019, 03:04:49 PM
You can see it on ico sites like icobench, icorating, icoreview, coingecko, icoholder, and others. Of everything I mentioned, I use everything. Everything has advantages and disadvantages of each. So I don't want to decide only from one ico site.
These sites are the same. all analyzed in a sketchy and dishonest way, I saw many bad ICOs listed there and it made investors fooled.
That can be applied in almost all of them. So many of them have received amount from these icos that try to create such a manipulation to its score to fool the investors.
Most the sites only changing the score and no more. They never do KYC verification to verify does it a real team or not.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution for crypto currency investors on: February 21, 2019, 10:52:32 PM
I think you have a point with what you said. Cryptocurrency/blockchain market is getting saturated and a lot of ICOs spring up every day with most of them fake or copy cat trying to imitate old successful projects. Before any project can be successful , I think it needs to have a unique concept along with good platform and good product so as to be able to create or command demand for the project.
In fact, we are all aware about this and it is all about our own thinking/decision if we invested that certain project. We have rallied for flooded scam project and it is really disgusting how it affect crypto image and even affecting legit project which is it dragging them out from the race.
That's indeed and these scam icos creating a lot of noise that makes a lot of the diamond being hidden.
That was giving a lot of impact to the participants and most of them were creating so many complaints about this. Legit project looks so difficult to be discovered.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins With Low Trading Volume? on: February 21, 2019, 10:49:45 PM
If a coin is still very new to the market and it is having a low trading volume at the same time, I think it is a good time and avoid opportunity to acquire more.
Although, this is not applicable to all coins. Based on what I have seen so far, a coin that has a good product, perhaps actively under development and has such experience while listed, investors most times make good use of the opportunity, by acquiring more.
Remember that the bitcoin start on a low trading or even low supply before. It's up to the project admins and participants if they continue to develop this specific alternative coins.
There are some have started with the big volumes and demands. You look so pathetic dude, how that can depends on the developer if they have raised a lot of money from the crowdsale? they must pay what they have got from the investors. The development is a must after they have been getting a lot of money.

270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm buying alts now on: February 14, 2019, 03:24:40 PM
Buying alts right now can be considered as a right decision. Not just right but also a wise decision. The prices of most alts these days are lower compared before. And if you are going to invest and buy alts now, you can earn good when the price increases.

It also depends on the altcoins you want to buy. Be very cautious. Today, not all projects are very stable. Try to invest only in the best altcoins. For instance, I buy Ethereum, EOS, OmiseGO, TRON, and Ontology.
Crypto will never become stable, this is a speculative market and anything can be pumped and dumped. The sentiment of market based on the latest news, rumour and any other fundamental thing that can effect cryptocurrency.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: February 14, 2019, 03:18:56 PM
Binance is a popular exchange so every coin that's added there will experience tremendous additional to its volume. Yes, Dogecoin doesn't really need to get listed there but for other traders and investors it is going to be a big news if it ever does.
I don't think this will happen. CZ said he want to see only work product projects on binance.
If that becomes a real thing and there must be a lot of coins to be delisted from the binance platform because most of tokens on binance right now has no product. Remember about some platforms like verge, and any fork coins.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC or ForbesCrypto? on: February 13, 2019, 10:46:38 PM
I think coinmarketcap is more reliable and up to date I check both sites and on coinmarketcap eth is still in the second spot while Ripple is in one in the second spot in ForbesCrypto and coinmarketcap is the first one I use ever since I start so I trust this site more than Forbescrypto
CMC is more familiar and most of people don't know what forbes crypto is. Rather than it and i guess coingecko was more familiar in our community. People mostly used CMC as the main site to get the latest price and chart of crypto.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO Dying ? on: February 13, 2019, 10:45:24 PM

unfortunately the time of the ico seems to be over many can not reach the soft cap others are scam if they can not renew themselves and to entice somehow investors will soon be replaced by the sto that i do not like at all because they require the kyc procedure...
ICO time just did not pass. This is the same wrong statement as the cryptocurrency market has died. smart people understand that this is just the beginning
People don't know even know about the truth, This can be called as FUD to the crypto consider there was a lot of good icos outta here. These people must learn more about how to identify a good ico rather than take a conclusion about it.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing on: February 13, 2019, 10:43:17 PM
I also see a similar situation, many projects with access to the stock exchange simply disappear before our eyes. Recently, the ICO market has been losing its trust .
Besides the bad market, some projects simply did nothing. A project may have a beautiful idea, but the finished product will appear in a year or two. Therefore, the price flies down.
That's indeed, lack of knowledge and skill about that will prevent the time row to develop the platform. So many platforms don't know what must they do that and this will be decreasing a lot of trust from the investors. We nee a lot of competence developer.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what will happen with ethereum. on: February 12, 2019, 11:39:17 PM
The declining prices are happening on almost all coins. It's normal. But I still believe that ETH will be soon be bouncing back. It's a coin with unique capabilities, and I agree that it is a risk worth taking for.
I'm even a little glad that the update was postponed to a later date, I want it to happen in a stronger market, then the effect will be much better
Update will be on this month and i would like to see ethereum platform will do that asap consider that was a big step to prevent the inflation dude. That has become the main problem in ether when we didn't know how much hardca for supply.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Rewards- Stakes based or fixed tokens allocation based on: February 12, 2019, 11:37:48 PM
Fixed amount is better than unfixed. At first this helps you decide on participation. In others, a new revolution began to reduce the bounty reward. I know that the fixed amount is often small, but better than unknown and changeable reward.
but most of platforms are using fixed tokens allocation this time. There was a lot of change in the bounty allocation and anytime it will remain the same. In this time some platforms were offering big allocation for bounty to create noise in the community
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTT Price May Touch $0.001644 in 2019 on: February 11, 2019, 02:15:03 PM
Only 6% from the total supply are available on the circulating supply and no so much coin that will have distributed to the all of tron holders. This coin may get a big decrease in the future consider there will be more supply to come asap.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XMR Price May Touch 500 USD In 2019 on: February 11, 2019, 02:13:01 PM
Even the black market more interested in used bitcoin as the main payment system rather than monero. All of things that you gave in this thread based on the technical analisys only and that can't become the strong reason for that.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest ICO in the history: Dragon on: February 11, 2019, 02:06:13 PM
Hello, I am just surprised about the biggest ICO ever. Have you heard about Dragon? I didn't. Their website looks awful, listed only on some small exchanges, price is 100 times cheaper than ICO price, no progress.
But accourding these sites: https://www.icodata.io/ICO/ended and https://icobench.com/ico/dragon
They raised $300 millions so their ICO was the biggest one in the history, that collected so much money.

Do you know something about this coin? Or it is fake?
It has changed all of roadmap but that was not the biggest ico in the history. Did you remember EOS and that should be the biggest ico in history which raised 4 billions from its ico and that was fucking crazy amount of money for a strange product like EOS platform.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will the mt.gox claim end? How much more btc remains? on: February 07, 2019, 03:38:08 PM
it doesn't matter. Mtgox itself has never had any effects on anything including bitcoin price. anything that has ever happened was due to FUD and exaggeration of the news combined with a lot of lies. and that is never going away until the market is big enough that the brainless newbies don't have a significant effect when they panic sell to the whales.
other than that, when mtgox ends they will start a new chapter with a new drama. learn not to give your money to the whales instead of looking for the end of something arbitrary.

I bet to disagree that Mtgox has no effect on the price of BTC, I don't know where they sold the coins on exchange or OTC. We need clarity on this issue, it was Mtgox news last year that trigger the bear market and since then everything has been on the down trend.
Mt.gox trustee has already sold a lot of bitcoin and look at this news https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/mt-gox-trustee-confirms-he-sold-230-million-cryptocurrency/
Im personally thinking if mtgox trustee has already liquidated the bitcoin through use various exchange sites. A new story about mt.gox will start soon.
