261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why israeli people love bitcoin so much? on: March 23, 2016, 07:06:13 PM
Why chinese people love Bitcoin so much?
Why argentinian people love Bitcoin so much?
Why american people love Bitcoin so much?

This list could be continued with several other nations.
Point is it doesn't matter as long as people realize what Bitcoin is and how it works. If this is the case that is also the reason why they use it and love.Because they realized what potential Bitcoin has and what possibilities it offers.
This has nothing to do with nations or what religion someone is belonging to.

I agree, in the future all such statement need to be supported by actual reliable statistics. Period.
Only statement can be backed up is Chinese people love Bitcoin, because their exchange has the highest vol.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin survive world war III? on: March 22, 2016, 10:55:00 PM
I think full scale world war will not happen, but proxy war is likely. Proxy war means two relatively small nations fighting each other, each is supported by a mega nation.
In this case, Bitcoin is quite useful.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin survive world war III? on: March 22, 2016, 05:27:58 AM
Certainly I am not into any war,I wish there should be always no war. I just want to know how resilient bitcoin is. And if Bitcoin can be should be improved any way.
My feeling even there is a world wide war, there will be one or two nations keep neutral and serve as bitcoin backbone, running some nodes and I am sure Bitcoin will be as good physical gold.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Will Bitcoin survive world war III? on: March 20, 2016, 08:22:19 PM
World War III broke out 6 years, huge disruption to everybody, there was limited nuclear bomb detonation in two smaller nations. Internet is in a state useable but not reliable.
Will Bitcoin survive? Will smuggler use Bitcoin to buy weapon, or gold to buy weapon?
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Epic, monstrous post of Jihan Wu (AntPool) on: March 20, 2016, 12:43:26 AM
Ant pool mentioned was implementing some kind of voting mechanism, any follow up on this?
I do think some voting mechanism is needed, anybody with Bitcoin can vote.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people own 21 BTC aproximately? on: March 19, 2016, 08:52:38 PM
In capital market, over time, wealth will tend to flow to whom already have abandom of it, meaning, the rich getting richer, and poor getting more poor.
I think the question is, will Bitcoin accumulate to fewer people over time or spread out to more people? Personally I think the number of people owning more than 21btc will stay the same in the past two years, simply because who didnot have that much will have a hard time over that barrier.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just mortgaged my house to buy ethereum on: March 19, 2016, 07:24:58 AM
Hello friends.

I must apologize for helping crash the ethereum market. My wife gave me an ultimatum, either it was her or the ether. I followed the good advice in this thread and sold my position.

Thanks again and sorry for the dump.

Good for you super bean. Hope you had a great experience. Generally speaking, people consider Bitcoin to be risky asset, but ETH is even more risky. I would not hold ETH for long.
Do tell your story.
268  Economy / Economics / Re: Norway lowers interest rates by 0.25% on: March 18, 2016, 06:50:40 PM
Their rate is still higher than USA.
They still can cut rate twice, while USA can only cut once. I think negative rate will be good to Bitcoin price. Negative rate takes away one of the major advantage fiat over Bitcoin, fiat is capable of getting some small interest from bank, while no bank pays Bitcoin yet.
269  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Latin American economies are turning to bitcoin on: March 17, 2016, 11:08:31 PM
I understand many folks , including myself, hoping Bitcoin will fly to the moon soon. However, if these two things are tied together,

1 severe toilment of your local government and local currency.
2 huge appriciation of Bitcoin.

Do you still want this? I would rather Bitcoin price stay put. I do believe in Bitcoin, I hope because of limited supply, the price will slowly and steadily going up.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Latin American economies are turning to bitcoin on: March 17, 2016, 09:26:00 PM
Summary up, the reason Bitcoin is booming in Latin American is:

1 local government isn't stable.
2 local inflation is through the roof, local currency is dropping value fast.
3 Bitcoin price was going up last year
4 local government has capital control.

Speculation: in troubled area, holding Bitcoin is better than gold, because Bitcoin is more useful, can be exchanged into goods easier.
Traditional, gold is the number 1 choice.
271  Economy / Services / Re: Debt Collection in Spain | High Success Rate even in Hopeless Cases. on: March 17, 2016, 03:44:09 PM
I checked my btcjam notes, none of it is above 2500, actually none from Spain. Did op ever consider buying notes from many small investors, then go to find the bad ass and keep all the fund?
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: C-Bit Coin Clone of Bitcoin. WTH?. Block Size and # of Coins increased 210 Mil. on: March 17, 2016, 07:35:49 AM

273  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Sell 2.000.000 $ BTC-e , Sell 4800 BTC For WMZ on: March 17, 2016, 06:13:59 AM
OP, your name makes nervous, LOL.
Then I remember I don't have that much money, FBI probably will not come and ask me about my tie with Iran , what a relief...
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Ideas on: March 17, 2016, 05:18:36 AM
bitcoin is leadershipless at this point. This is sad but I think it is quite true.
Find someone else make your own coin and if it is good, it will take off like ETH.
Even ETH, in the longer run, nobody knows if it will stick. So good luck.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A teen is given $1K to invest into Bitcoin - what would you recommend for them? on: March 15, 2016, 10:31:13 PM
There is no such thing as investment any more. With zero or negative interest rate, saving money in bank pays nothing. Stock market return is low and itself is risky. Bitcoin investment even worse, most of them scam. I think go to p2p site borrow 1k makes more sense. And see if anybody can still make money.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's add up the KNOWN lost bitcoins on: March 15, 2016, 03:44:40 PM

I installed block chain in my phone, and sent that much to my phone, and I lost my phone.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins to revolutionize insurances on: March 14, 2016, 11:28:46 PM

278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: March 14, 2016, 10:01:41 PM
Bitcoin is a form of currency, if you have 1000 dollar, is there any easy way to double it?
Since you are asking, I am wondering if you refer to any cloud mining, high yield investment, or gambling site?
I personally invested in the cloud mingling, high yield sites, all lost coins, no exception. I also play in gambling site, lost money too. But my expectation on gambling site is to have fun, not to make money and I play small.
Just FYI ...
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum being added to Bitfinex on Monday on: March 12, 2016, 08:23:00 AM
Long time ago, I traded darkcoin in bitfinex, and they took it off. Let's see how much vol ether will trade there. This is a real test.
