I think it was mistake,to put XEM to many exchanges.A lot of people are trading between exchanges and if they see difference in 1 satoshi,they are buying for 50 sat. at one exchange,and dumping on other exchange for 51 satoshi.This shit is pushing price down. |

There is nothing going on with hthis coin, multiple years of development and "marketing" and still begging for simple infographics. This coin is stale.

Hi ! I just made an online paper wallet generator for XEM using php2nem and NIS API. You can check it hereGenerated NAJPXZ-AQ2HMK-72JILF-PLJBC6-MQLA3L-PRLP4Y-4NZN and imported the private key in client with success ! Earlier I tried to send some XEM on the paper from poloniex but got "COMPLETE: ERROR" (seems to be Polo issue). I also made a simple faucet script, almost finished, I'm working on automating payouts. Nem has to do nothing with world financial crisis. Just a limited number of persons know about it. 1-2k person isn't enough to make a "coin" grow or spread. NEM has to be much more mainstream to get in a such a financial layer.

Ok, so I deleted my old NEM wallet as a result of reinstalling the software. Everything works fine now. How do I retreive my old wallet without having to create a new wallet and re-importing my private key?
If you made back up of your wallet go to C://users/your user name/Nem/ncc/and paste your back up file there Ok, so I did that.. Now I get the message "ERROR 123 NIS: ADDRESS BOOK COULD NOT BE READ"
.adb file from your NCC folder is file of address book.May be it is corrupt,try to move it out from folder,and restart Nem programm. |

I havnt opened my Nem wallet (community client) for a few weeks and when I tried to open it, NCC wouldnt start. I updated to the latest version and reinstalled java 64 bit.
Any ideas?
Same trouble with standalone version. Nis has started NCC has stopped
I had this problem too.You need to delete all nem software,and reinstall it.Just do not forget to make backup of your wallet.Go to Local disk C://Users/Your user name/NEM/ncc and make copy of .adb and .wlt files |

But SIA still does not let me announce... So it would seem the problem lies with SIA?
Taek, any take on this? My ISP will see if they can update my firmware so maybe that could do something and SIA will also work after that, but I will let you all know how that turns out...
If it makes you feel any better, you are not the only one who has had this problem. If canyouseeme.org can find your service, then it's probably a problem with Sia. There is a chance that you've put in the wrong local ip address. For example, one of the computers on our network is 10.0.0.35, one is 10.0.0.26, etc. They are all on different endpoints, perhaps you've selected the wrong endpoint. My router shows the IP for that PC on the connected equipments list. Also when I run ipconfig on that same PC it tells me IPv4 Address is that same one. So that has to be the correct local IP right? What else could it be? Some routers need to be restarted,before aplying the changes in configuration.If you restarted router,and still have problems with ports 9981 and 9982,then you need to change firewall settings.If you run windows,go to control panel/System and security/windows firewall/advanced settings,and create new inbound rule in left top corner. |

I did some testing, and on my (admittedly shitty) Core i5 Win8 laptop, I'm able to successfully announce and host contracts. I wish there were a bit more metrics data and such, but everything seems to be working as far as I can tell.
working on it. also, just added checksums to the sia addresses. also, siafunds stuff is now working in master. But, don't use it yet. The proper usage isn't intuitive and there's a good chance you'd lose your siafunds by doing something you weren't supposed to. Wait until I've got a tutorial out that tells you how not to shoot yourself in the foot. Because, the way it's currently set up, it's pretty easy to shoot yourself in the foot. (maybe we should set up a testnet so you can practice with siafunds that don't mean anything) You need to open command window and put in "ipconfig" Ipv4 is your ip,which you need to put in router setings. |

I don't see fair distribution of coins...
Miner with better equipment and smarter knowledge always gonna have advantage. Sia is no about fair distribution. Its not meant as currency like doggycoin. Its use is for renting and providing decentralized trustless storage. So go away with your fair distribution crap. Sia is more business. Go away self from this thread.About 10 pages ago someone from developers said,what current miner is configurated to mine only on one gpu,and this must help with distribution of coins,but some skilled people are mining with all of their gpu's and 500-800 MH/s on single gpu. Your words are crap,and looks like Sia is like 99% of cryptos just another scam,where devs are geting money for what they know,instead of what they do.There is no tutorial on how configurate current miner. So...Fah Q! |

They are in the folder where your older wallet is. Run that wallet and your coins will be there. Thanks! Can someone share pastebin configuration for radeon HD 7950?There is no fun with mining,because some people are runing miners with 800 MH/s for one card,and people,who have no knowledge like me are mining with 100 MH/s.I don't see fair distribution of coins...
