261  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: January 10, 2016, 07:22:12 PM
no matter what else happens, you have to admit that the cryptsy staff is doing a great job. They should be commended for the efforts they are putting in...

It takes much effort to ban everyone who complains about not being able to withdraw coins.

By this time next month, there will be 6 users still able to go in the chat room and talk about how happy they are and we should all hold out hope of getting our coins back.

Let me see if I can work this out:

So if you have 1 BTC in there... and you can withdraw .01 in each withdrawal thats only 100 transactions at a fee of  0.00105 each... so for every bitcoin you have in this exchange, you can (try) to withdraw and get yourself .895 instead of paying the 0.006 fees and getting your 0.994 btc for the withdraw had it been working correctly.... IF you can get your withdrawal that same 1 BTC will only get you .895 at current market rate costing you like 44 bucks.

And looking at the trust issues, we are being told that the cryptsy office in FL is gone. The Cryptsy office in CA is closing... but the admin in cryptsy chat will still tell you everything is fine and you should upgrade to tier 2 (and give them your DL #, SSN, photo ID) and you MIGHT be able to remove a bit more.

To the people who thought this was fine because project investors was a US company... let me know where they moved to. I would love to know.

Great I found him! Now can I get my withdrawal as a reward?
263  Economy / Scam Accusations / Actual amounts pending from cryptsy... on: January 10, 2016, 03:25:38 PM
So without all the accusations, name calling and drama can we get a good idea of how much people are waiting for from cryptsy and for how long?

I have been waiting to withdraw .306xxx since December 15th of 2015. I know it isn't much but its mine and I want it back.

I would have thought with that amount divided between 3 withdrawals it should have easily gone by now...
264  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: January 08, 2016, 02:49:53 PM
Oh I totally agree.

I have noticed with Cryptsy, if you withdraw anything below 0.2BTC. They usually withdraw with little delay.
I can not vouch for others who have lost out on withdraws of 0.5+

Maybe they are covering up they can not afford the current inflated rates. Or they do not have any BTC left.

I have 3 different withdraws pending at .1 and some change each... Pending for 2 days.

Just tossing it out there...

265  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CEX.IO Taking The Piss Fiat Withdrawal on: January 08, 2016, 01:12:56 AM
Ordered a sepa transfer from CEX.IO to my bank from bitcoin exchange based in London it hasn't gone thru after 3 days, contacted support and they said it may take up to 20 days.... WHAT THE ACUTAL FUCK???

I will post here with updates in the meantime be cautious... I'm starting to think this crypto isn't all it's cracked up to be... Cryptsy is a peice of shit that mucks people around and waiting up to 20 days is the strangest shit I've ever heard of.. especially if you use an exchanged in your own country so what the fuck is going on.

If anyone else uses CEX.IO with withdrawal post here to combine this shit...

Are you saying cryptsy or cex.io is the reason for your complaint? You listed both.

When are people going to learn to not use an exchange as a wallet

Ok... so I have heard this 1000 times... let me explain it.

I looked online after a long break from crypto. I see a great opportunity on doge buy one exchange, move to cryptsy and sell for more.
cash out BTC. Sounds reasonable...

Ok... part one, done. Bought Doge. Part two move to cryptsy... Done Sell doge Done. All working great.

Final part, withdraw BTC. <BAM> ummm why cant I withdraw? Look at chat box and google... see this is a major issue.

anyone depositing coins in at all had this problem. Even if it was for 10 min. So if you know how to trade coins without actually depositing them,
I would love to hear how it works.

Stop the arbitrage into lame ass alts and you'll be fine on a real exchange.

Ok... so don't leave them in an exchange. Don't use the "not real" exchange. Don't buy "lame" altcoins and try to make money off them.

There is lots to learn about the process I guess... As soon as I can get my coins off the exchange im out for good... Ill sell them off and get away from
all this as there must be 1000's of unwritten rules that I have no knowledge of

Edited to correct some issues...

Paul was in the Navy. He's got a two day head start on you, which is more than he needs. He's got friends in every town and village from here to the Sudan, he speaks a dozen languages, knows every local custom, he'll blend in, disappear, you'll never see him again. With any luck, he's got the grail already.

I knew that sounded like something I had heard before... I was trying to think of it when that picture popped up. lol

Just an update on the cryptsy issues:

My withdrawal from 12-15-15 was just canceled without telling me, and the record of the withdraw attempt removed from the system.

I tried to break up the withdraw to .1 and some change each and did 3 of them.

They are all confirmed and now pending exactly as they were before.

270  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: January 01, 2016, 05:43:53 PM
Its sad really to watch jshock ban anyone from chat who dares to suggest there is anything wrong with the service.

Reminding everyone that support issues are not handled in chat, then doing some support from chat anyway... then banning people who are not
happy about the support they are not receiving...

Seriously, what did you expect? No really... What did you really want people to do? Cryptsy lets people sit unable to withdraw funds (for weeks in some cases)
support gives generic non answers to tickets, and cryptsy wont tell anyone whats going on.

Cryptsy has created the problems here, not the users, not FUD, not paranoia... cryptsy. Just fix the problem or take your website offline once and for all...

I was poking you to see if you would deny it Wink
I guarantee you are Mutsumi on IRC.
Point being is every time someone comes in there i see you put them on ignore.. including me.
Seems a bit pointless to connect then.

You do realize that if no on ever talks no one will talk.
Shit loads of people go there then see nothing.. and leave.
So occasionally i say something.. ANYTHING (what doesn't matter)

Anyway ignore who ever ya want that is YOUR prerogative i just think you *could be missing out on stuff if you do Sad
Trying to get people talking on a dead IRC channel is not easy LOL
And you seem content to just stay connected 24/7 forever not saying anything idling and putting everyone on ignore.
..weird
[/quote]

Nope, sorry I am not that person. I just logged in a few min ago to see if I was missing something.

Update---

I just got a wd from cryptsy in the amount of .05. It was pending since 12-13-15 but I just noticed it has arrived at the wallet I wd it to.

This is not to say that things are fixed in any way. I still have another wd waiting for .3 since thwe 15th... but in the interests of being fair I wanted to post I actually got
something out.

Why do you sit on IRC ignoring anyone that talks when no one talks ?
Someone starts chatting 1 time per 24 hrs pretty much and i see "user ignored"

I am not on the irc chat all the time, and I only learned how to ignore people just now when I looked... unless that was not really directed at me...

Also, for anyone looking at the https://www.bitebi9.com/ site... just note that the confirmation emails when you log in are not only exactly the same (except the name of the site) they are also using the same mail server to send them...

Just my 2 cents
275  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Criptsy - i'm finally out! Mainentance coming tomorrow, be aware!! on: December 17, 2015, 08:15:46 PM
BigVern @cryptsy16 Dec
All wallets will be offline on Friday 12/18 for one hour due to equipment changes.

There is no need to panic. Banks very often close service operation for maintenance.

If the site was working and people could withdraw the funds they had in there... this would be a non issue. If you bank stopped allowing you to withdraw funds for a number of days and then made that announcement... different story.
276  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Criptsy - i'm finally out! Mainentance coming tomorrow, be aware!! on: December 17, 2015, 08:09:44 PM
I think the big problem people have is they are still allowing deposits to the exchange, and not warning people at all there is a problem. Many people (myself included) didnt know there was an issue at first. I deposited my coins, traded them to BTC and then tried to withdraw them.... when it didnt work I opened the chat room and saw everyone having issues, and then I googled it and confirmed there was a big issue.

At the very least they should have a banner up warning people there will be a significant delay in processing withdraws on many coins... Then people would have had advance warning
277  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Criptsy - i'm finally out! Mainentance coming tomorrow, be aware!! on: December 17, 2015, 07:37:43 PM
I hear much negative people about cryptsy. What has happened that all people are angry/mad at them?
It is obvious people can't withdraw, but what/who caused that cryptsy had to disable withdraw?

Part of the reason that people are upset is, they have not said what caused it. They have given no substantial update at all... Just they are working on it. The only thing
I have seen is people blaming the users for getting worried. One of the admins said that the FUD is the reason this is such a mess...

Because it is unprecedented that an exchange would fail and customers would loose money...

How is Cryptsy able to show bitcoins in a bitcoin wallet address when on the blockchain there's no bitcoins to be seen?

It is showing you there are no bitcoins in that address. What you are showing us from cryptsy is your request to withdraw, with no txid that the transfer was ever sent.

So its like you going to the atm, telling it you want to withdraw money and not seeing it in your wallet before the transaction is processed.
279  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: December 17, 2015, 07:17:34 PM
I do also find it funny that the people who complained in chat on cryptsy were banned, but the shills and the kiss @$$es are still able to spew. Even if they manage to pay everyone back, how many people are EVER going to trust them again?
