261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does BTC mean to you? on: March 02, 2024, 09:33:41 PM
First of all, what's behind your pattern of writing? That isn't nice at all -- i mean, reading centralized text which doesn't convey much information...

Bitcoin means a whole lot to me; I'll feel very remorseful if I had the later opportunity to learn and embrace it and I neglected it..  look at that!! -- The whole Renaissance over the past 15 years has rather unlocked more avenues to stabilize and break the monopoly of FIAT currencies and banks... Since there wasn't any other means to stake up your values, it was defendlessly monitored and seized at the govern's will.. The new revolution has also created jobs for tech/dev gurus - a dream that was only imagined until somome took a step forward - SATOSHI.

Why are you so truthful and so cowardly that you don't have the courage to write from your main account? There is so much cynicism in your post. Look at Nigerian schools. Do they all support the standards of European schools?
such a cunt!!! I'm just wondering how inspired that young man should have been to take a cut from his campaign earnings, considering the adverse situations that has hit our economy and has augmented the prices of every commodity. I believe he had a lil marijuana before opening his cell phone today...lol

Therefore, there is no need to spit here; just be happy for the children or pass by.
Nigerian schools have got standards too; but the young man isn't gonna "TAKE COALS TO NEWCASTLE". .. dude's head behind the account is stuffed with shit... Honestly.

263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proven many times holders won't regret on: March 01, 2024, 10:34:56 PM
If we see the history of Bitcoin, then it's pretty easy to see how Bitcoin recovered its price. It would take time to recover, but eventually it did. So at the end of the day, holders don't need to be regretful. I am talking about Bitcoin, not about any other altcoin. Because even though the Bitcoin price has recovered, many altcoins haven't recovered yet. Even those who bought Bitcoin at the top in the last bull run, I believe they are almost recovered. If they are still holding, they will be in profit within a couple of months. Bitcoin has given us a costly lesson that holders won't regret. We should take that lesson and keep it in mind for the future.
I don't know why I normally feel even more secure, matterless of the things I've seen on the web, social media platforms etc... maybe for the fact that some meniacs won't just wanna back down so they won't be called "cowards" for not piloting the FUD anymore?.. or what exactly? Cus I rarely see them taunting anyone that supports BTC this days.. and yes ofcourse, most of this maniacs are also HODLers ..shocking right?

"I was running through my cell phone few days ago and I got the update - a mail was sent and an attachment too - about the increase in price of BTC.. 61k is just enough to harvest as much interest as you can folks!!

264  Other / Meta / Re: Should Merit-Sources send merit based on their feelings or quality of the post? on: March 01, 2024, 09:43:47 PM
Hey! I was thinking of something this night, this thing about merits and the merit-sources. If you are a merit-source, should you always give away merit to good posts even if you dislike the user that created the post?
Or are you allowed to be controlled by your feelings and only give away merit to people you like or don't know?
OP, I understand exactly what you tried to describe.. you see, I also noticed this way-back, and I brought it up - but that wasn't because I was slow in getting merited (atleast in my own timing) or because my post wasn't worth meriting -- at some point, I needed to stop writing congratulatory messages since it was seen as a way of "begging for merit".. That's the last think I'd do -- ( I didn't have any hate about whoever earns alot), it was because i thought they could be some "recognition policy" that actually barrier newbies or other middle-class posters to rank up easily... until I realized I was right, Jay convinced me otherwise... don't get me wrong! (he might not be practically doing the same thing, based off of the fact that he's an old, respectable member of this forum, but some peeps don't even care... Believe that if you want it but I'll tell you the truth.
I'll always pay so much respect to the few merit sources that have stooped low to see the need of realizing the potentials in every rookie

I usually get startled at the level of IQ some forum members possess - and I convey them in real life setting,... assuming I'm able to convert them in cash, it won't buy atleast a burger...well, i wasn't here to bicker so lemme let it slide.

The big question there is - What exactly was the original purpose of creating the merit system? To ensure the obliteration of merit fishers and account farmers right?? It was created as a sort of "rescue alternative", which is already a great barrier to an account farmer and a punitive measure to a dull-headed fellow who doesn't do too much... So what's the sense in implementing a system to fight against the real merit earners?? Which could also incite two logger-heads against themselves??... I DON'T SUPPORT THIS, SORRY!  VOD and OG nasty won't find this funny.!!

Op, you wagered and won, what's the deal about that?? Did you come to show us how lucky you've been? Just like every other gambler that feels this type of act would motivate a newbie?
Your whole point is that you tend to have winnings when you try to shake off the importance of gambling and its verdict?... Let me tell you this - everything that happened was just based off of the fact that you were being too lucky for the day...

Aside that, how does your context relate to your topic? I almost thought you had a more interesting story, until I read through this.

Anyways, upon thinking of a method of gambling as old as horse racing and as new as an online crypto casino I can't help but think of all the different types and places you can gamble in and what the future of gambling may hold and what the experience is like for the end user. From Vegas to the middle of the ocean on a cruise ship you can gamble and everywhere in-between even the Metaverse online! But in the end its all about the feeling gambling gives you, and ultimately that has a lot to do with the individual experience and environment that it is held in.
This would solely depend on individuality - I could be an old man from the days and decide to embrace the Renaissance of today's world...and another wouldn't be so comfortable unless they get it exactly the way it was in Their youthful days...

The future of gambling has been already reflected in today's pre-development
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports that you don’t watch but you keep placing bets on: February 29, 2024, 09:45:51 PM
Do you have a sports that you keep betting on even though you don’t watch this sports live or you don’t know the full specifications of this game?
i don't really know how possible this is... How else I'm i supposed to make some speculations assuming i wanna wager on them ??  Let's say this is about soccer and their divisions, i can as well wager on any other type of division based off of their recorded performances, i don't really have to watch them play. Aside that, wagering on sports you've got no idea about is just as good as being scammed of those funds.

269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's winning more casinos or gamblers? on: February 29, 2024, 09:36:46 PM
There is always a winner and a loser, and when you bet with an amount of money, you bet against the money of all the other players. If you win, they will pay you from their money, and if someone else wins, they will pay himBTCBTC from your money.
I'm not gonna bluntly accept that to be the fact even though I know statistically, there's no way a casino would be paying winnings from their pockets - it's gotta be people's money... The whole concept is that for everytime you lose, the casino gains... Publicity making, advertisement, maintenance, staff payment etc .. are all among the expenditures they make either on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis.

So the casino remains the biggest beneficiary, right?
I'd say YES! To any regular gambler, there isn't any hope of winning when you wager on games, but there's enough assurance that you'll certainly lose.

I keep saying the same thing over and over again...y'all need to be careful with the site you get registered on.. if you were just too gullible to be deceived by some big odds, why do you think they'll wanna reconsider their actions??

Secondly, you took too much risk in allowing such huge amount of funds in there for too long; you wagered and had a winning of 1k - and they began with some strange attitude, you should have immediately withdrawn as much as you were able to, when you had the chance.. i think you should make a thread on reputation should others wanna try getting on their sites.

271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Support, do not criticize. on: February 28, 2024, 09:58:26 PM
If you know anybody trying to stop the addiction of gambling to become better for themselves and their family, try and show them support by not criticizing them. If you observe that they experience some kind of relapse and go back to gamble even when they said they were not going to gamble, try to encourage them to remember why they wanted to stop gambling for the time. It is not an easy decision for some of them to make, and even imagining that they will never gamble again can make it worse for them, most of them need all the support they can get to help them maintain the decision to give gambling some time away.
sometimes in life, you don't really need to put much pressure into things happening around you; if the person is an addict, he's definitely battling with anger issues too. So you get snarled at, insulted or probably slammed outta his ruthless anger for getting too close or tryna make him recall what he said? You don't take such risk especially if the said person is also into drugs.

Most addicts have been out of the system permanently, and that hasn't been as a result of anyone bugging them... They sometimes get into real, challenging situations and that's it for them.

Re: Is it ethical to break your gambling rules
depends on the situation, condition and how effective your rules have become so far... You made the rules to guide you; it becomes your discipline depending on how it works for you.
That being said, this week I noticed that I have continued in the same trend despite that I have a personal gambling rule, not to gamble for two weeks consecutively,  but unknowingly for me I am already in the third week without adhering to my own rule.
I can't just say anything about this cus you've not specified if you've been having any wins ever since you started breaking out, but if you created some rules and cannot keep to it, what's really the essence?

275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much does it cost to have your own Casino? on: February 27, 2024, 09:58:30 PM
OP, the major concern should be about how you'd meet up with a good programmer/coder man to creating a casino site for you, at your budget. Linking up with a provider - I think - would depends on your country/location too. AFAIK, land-based casinos would solely be a 60-40 deal and it's normally based off of the quantity of sales you make...maybe weekly, monthly or so... It varies depending on the agreement you had with your MEGA depo. I sincerely don't know much about online casinos but I think there isn't too much differences than similarities..
Are you planning to make your own, OP?  Huh
do you wanna join him? It's actually a good business idea though

Well those people newly converts to the gambling system will still dash the casino company that win again because the first time win is always to lure them to the system and making them to perpetual adoration to gamble.
I had a really tough time deciphering your post althrough... But what I'm about to say is basically about the emboldened word; what do you mean by the first winnings is made to lure the newly converted gamblers whatsoever..? The casinos don't even program any games, talk more of the winnings.. secondly, nobody knows you in particular (although you may decide to disbelieve this information based off of the fact that your KYCs can represent)...

All what I'm giving more clarity is that casinos don't choose people to win games just to lure anybody regardless.

What you described above is simply a "strategy of growth" not some fraudulent conception... These casinos have a common standard - no matter how lenient the new ones would be - they'll always fall back to that standard to make much profits too. The truth is that; for every bonus they give out, they intend to gather a unique circle of gamblers that'll seek leverage and may intend to stick with the system...
How can I choose the best betting site that provides me with a safe betting experience?
Does this site provide a high level of safety for its players?
I need help from those with experience in this field
The site - to some extent - is responsible for your safety... You gotta do much to keep up too.. I'll advice that you stick to a known site that has made a good legacy overtime already.

Question: would she be so disheartened and mad as this if the son had won the bet on a multi million price?
Dear fellows, let's assume you are the mom, what would be your state of mind on this context?
YES!!!
No matter how much he won at the end, I'll still question him about how he got to pull off with that stunt... Always learn to call a spade by it name..  If not, that'll always give him the impression that whenever he steals from your bank or wallet, he always gonna havw justifications for that... There's actually an attitude you'll condone today and it becomes a problem for you tomorrow... Always advice your children no matter how lucky they might be on their way doing crippy things.

The number of women into gambling would just be an equivalent number to the men that aren't interested innit... Isn't that shocking?? It's is ofcourse - I know so many young girls that wager on games and get tips and updates more than a guy would, but wouldn't dare to do all of those in a real casino house...

That happens cus women are very secretive set of people.... They feel you shouldn't know too much about them if you're not too close.. all thanks to casino sites online.

It is not that a fun if you are losing and not winning. But if I win and lose, it is fun for me and that is what that is happening and I do not consider  if I win more or lose more. That is me.
I'd say your point is - losing doesn't really bother a gambler that wins regularly right??.That could be true.. but it depends on the situation and conditions of losing too.

If I wagered on a ticket with my big winning from another game and maybe - out of all the 12 games - 11 came through, giving me high hopes that the last one wouldn't mess up...lo and behold, my whole plan got twisted as it doesn't workout as planned? What happens?..
