Helping children get notebooks for their school studies in regions that still teach kids to write in notebooks and where notebooks can be unaffordable to some families is a lovely deed. It's also really smart that you added Bitcoin-related questions and answers on the notebooks. It's a wonderful way to both help children and make them a little bit more aware of Bitcoin.
It's a wonderful way to give back to the community and to promote Bitcoin. I hope we'll see more people doing good things like that with Bitcoin.

You tried. I appreciate your Charity mindset. You have been doing this at the past. And it is only those who have the mindset to help the needy in the society can do these things. And in this time that inflation is skyrocket to the up, parents can't afford most of those things to their children and they need people help and here you are helping the needy in your location. Why are you so truthful and so cowardly that you don't have the courage to write from your main account? There is so much cynicism in your post. Look at Nigerian schools. Do they all support the standards of European schools? Therefore, there is no need to spit here; just be happy for the children or pass by.


OP, you're great. It is always considered that a book is the best gift. If you tell children about Bitcoin from a young age, you want them to believe that they will draw the right conclusions and be able to improve their future by using it. I really like such events, and I have great respect for those who help Nigerian children learn about new technologies in one way or another.

I also initiated something like this when I was Youth leader here in my place way back 2017 but those funds came from my own pockets through Bitcoin paying signature campaigns and through caroling as a fundraising. That activity ends very well and put a smile on more than a hundreds of kids faces in our elementary school and of course not only pupils but also out of school kids benefited that initiative.

When I was affected by stress, financial crisis, pandemic and the devastating super typhoon I was not able to continue that legacy and I did not even expect someone to help me out and unfortunately no one does but I will still find ways to do that again here in my community. I was actually the first guy who initiated that event here in my place. And I wanted to bring back that memories into life once again if I have enough funds soon.

Not only that but I also conducted free internet through UC and Operamini/freemium modded apps s40/s60/android way back 2012-2017, donated money and trophy anonymously on village activities, volunteered way back 2013 during the devastation of super typhoon Haiyan in coordination with our municipality and regional social welfare agencies, I also conducted free simcard registration last year up until now but recently I am a bit busy as I am serving as a law enforcement volunteer. Maybe I missed something but what is important here is that we show love to the society.

Well yeah I appreciate those people who initiated good deeds whole heartedly without expecting for something in return. We just share because we care. With the help of BitcoinTalk and Bitcoin itself all possibilities can be done and I thank the Legendary founder Satoshi Nakamoto for this opportunity, chances and perks, all the staff, devs, managers and fellow Bitcoiners around the world I thank you all for being part of my forum life.

You sound so sure of your claims and I won't blame you since we have seen many users come with such a pattern to like you say fish for merits but instead of just concluding, why not drop concrete proof to show the user is just fishing for merits by using Bitcoin and the campaign earnings as a good storyline? Sometimes, we have no choice but to believe these things since we aren't there with them.

Wow this is very nice your initiative is very positive for the society you are promoting bitcoin like you are very good for children. May this initiative of yours be successful so that every child can get minimum knowledge about bitcoin because it is never possible for everyone what you have done for this initiative must be applauded so that children can learn better about bitcoin from scratch and working with bitcoin. It can improve the society. I’m proud of you @op and I must say you’ve done well as I’m certain it’s not an easy task to carry out this kind of charity work especially with this rough and very harsh economy with very high rate of inflation and I must say well done for atleast remembering this kids as I’m sure the joy they must have gotten that very day was incomparable to none.

It's been a while ever since I made a charitable donation that portrays the awareness of Bitcoin in my locality, so just as we began the month of February 2024, which also popularly known to be the month of love (i.e Saint Valentine), whereby people go about sharing gifts to family, friends and total strangers, a thought have been ringing in my head ever since to go spread some love, but due to  procrastination I was never able to execute my plan, not until few days ago when I finally started planning and could finally execute my plan two days ago (i.e 29th Feb) been the last day of the month of February 2024, by heading to a nearby government primary school to go share notebooks to it's pupils within my locality as could be seen in the pictures provided below with a small percentage of the little Bitcoin I have been privilege to earn/accumulate through signature campaign here on this forum since last year and of recent  (i.e Shuffle & Mega) organize by a reputable personality Sir "Little Mouse". Hence, the idea about sharing books to school pupils came to my mind, and we all know how important books happens to be an essential learning material which all pupils need to have for effective learning, but sometimes due to current economic hardship in my country, not all parents are able to afford a complete set of notebooks for all their kids for learning, of which with this little act of kindness of mine, I'm sure it did actually went a long way helping these kids have a semi complete set of learning materials worth having for effective learning.
So while thinking about how to share/donate these notebooks, an idea came to my mind, to not just only donate  notebook, but to do it in a Bitcoin way, and by that I mean instead of just buying ordinary notebooks and donate, I decided to add a little graphic design on the front cover of each of those notebooks with a basic Bitcoin Questions and Answers so as to enable these pupils whenever they have a look at it will be able to have a picturial view of what Bitcoin is all about, and know  some basic questions about Bitcoin, such as "What is Bitcoin?, Who invented Bitcoin? And What year was Bitcoin invented?", e.t.c As some pictures of the edited copies of the notebooks with the Basic Bitcoin Questions and Answers could all be seen below.

   
   
   

Aims & Objective of the project

There are two basic aims and objectives I had in mind when starting this project namely;

1. To spread love with a small percentage of the little Bitcoin I have been privilege to accumulate here on this forum, because just as February happens to be a month of love and Armsgiving, I thought it would be too bad of me if February passed me by without me sharing arms to those in need of it the most.

2. To spread the awareness of Bitcoin in a pictorial form (i.e Through the Question and Answers designed on the front cover of each of the notebooks donated), because just as we all know that a picture is more than a thousand words, I then decided to this time to create awareness in a picturial form, by donating books, pen, pencil and drinks to school pupils, as it all could be seen in the pictures down below.

First, I wish to thank Satoshi Nakamoto for inventing Bitcoin, which is the reason why we are all gathered here on this forum, and secondly, I wish to thank the management of the forum, the casino operators and campaign managers for giving us the privilege to be able to earn here on this forum, and including myself who today im able to use a few percentage of my earning to touch lives, and I feel very grateful, as all these would never have been possible without the good works of our reputable and hardworking campaign managers "Little Mouse, Hhampuz and Royse777". OP, you've done a good job, as a Nigerian, I am in the know of the difficulties our primary school pupils go through especially those in the rural areas, where some of the pupils don't have writing materials and a whole lot of other basic learning materials that they need yet they don't have it. OP you've shown a good level of humanity by giving these children this writing materials, at least it's your own little way of giving back to the society. the printed materials alone gives them the basic knowledge about bitcoin and what bitcoin entails and I'm proud of the fact that you where able to come up with these idea.

Most of us can recognize merit fishing when we see one. I think this is the first time I’m seeing a newbie account accuse a hero member of merit fishing, it is usually the opposite. I think you’re so bent on finding something negative in the OP that you are willingly to ignore common sense. Some schools allow students to wear vests or mufti on Wednesday and Fridays, so it’s not surprising that the children in the photos aren’t all in uniforms. I’m yet to see @blackboss on this thread. He usually has something to say.

I don't know what your intention is when you post something like this. Is there any resentment or anger towards the creator of this topic? Aren't you just jealous because the OP is getting merit compared to you? Aren't you glad that there are children who are being helped because of what people did for these students?

If you do good, even if you have bad intentions, you will also reap good because what you sow will grow, meaning whether the person is good or bad, if you do good, you will reap good, and if the good person did bad things, you will reap bad results. Now, if anyone gives merit to this post made by OP, you don't care about what they did to give merit because it was their decision to give merit to OP. Why are you jealous because no one throws merit at you?

Today the message might be to promote bitcoin in the little way that you can, but I see beyond that, this children and teachers who might not have been deriving joy from what they are doing due to that little kindness you show to the children.
 
You have put a smile on the faces of many, and it won't only stop there; it will spread over to the family of those kids because they will get home and share that good news with them.

We should learn to appreciate people's efforts in every little thing they do. Let's not allow envy or jealousy cloud or judgement. This guy has showed his love to school children, most of whom are less previledge, because of his kindness the kids will have writing materials and will not be out of school. We should learn to give back to the society no matter how little it might appears. Even if you think he did this for merit, that doesn't change the fact that he has impacted the lives of these children. He spent resources in doing it, and this is a clear investment in the lives of these ones. You don't know how difficult life is in most of the developing countries, especially in Africa, so whenever you see someone do something like this, you appreciate them and not kill their morale. If you think it's easy you can do yours. Let's learn how to spread love and not hate.

This is a Bitcoin forum, and if anyone really does any activity that helps to promote Bitcoin via any means, it is never a bad idea to share the process and success of their activity carried out to promote Bitcoin. After reading this thread, you never know who can also get motivated to do the same thing in their country as well or might even take a different measure, but the idea will be drawn from OP. If you ask me, I would say that I don't see anything wrong with OP's post.

Yeah, it is obvious that on this forum, there have been so many threads relating to this one, and most of those threads were only fabricated stories without even the OP putting up any picture to justify their claim. What is not obvious to me is that not everyone lies about those kinds of topics; some members usually add pictures that clearly describe the reality of what they are saying. I don't disagree that there are some people who can just make up fabricated stories for merit fishing. 

By the way, let me start by asking you how you suddenly know far too well about the forum and also stating that this kind of post is for obvious reasons of fishing for merit. I assume that you are probably an alt account and know too well about posts that are for merit fishing and so on.

This is a great movement. I appreciate this because you are impacting the life of this young one's with what you have just offered to them,  it is a great move to support young people in school.  This movement is also a great awareness to let people know about Bitcoin,  atleast this young kids they will share the news to their guardian and it will be an awareness that will go far than what you think. This young people knowing the name Bitcoin now will make them to do more findings about bitcoin as they are growing and it will really have good impact to their life.

It is indeed a very good thing if there is someone who can help other people to understand about Bitcoin, especially if they are the younger generation, so they will be able to learn properly first and when they can have an income of course they will be able to choose to invest in Bitcoin to their future and if they can explain well to their parents about Bitcoin, of course their parents will invest in their children's future.

There’s nothing wrong in being skeptical. I think it’s a good trait to have. However I’m not sure what proof you would need. Independent news sources? You don’t really expect a news channel to publish this story, do you? OP donated notebooks to a school, I don’t think this act is going to get the attention of news blogs unless of course OP invited them.

If this was staged, how hard do you think it would be for OP to get school uniforms? I also don’t think that the kids have the resources, I believe OP picked a school that has children from a certain class to benefit from his charity project. There will always be people who need help, you can take the initiative and help those you feel are in need.

Well done my fellow country man. Despite the harsh economic realities gripping our nation due to escalating inflation, your ability to support these children is commendable. Whether the contribution was large or small in scale, what truly matters is the spirit of compassion and generosity driving your actions. You are playing your own role in bringing bitcoin awareness to the small corner where you are.

As for the fellow who says that they can't be school kids and all, I will say that fellow is writing from a place of ignorance.

Education in my country even at the primary level is still underfunding. In some rural communities, makeshift classrooms under mango trees serve as the only educational facilities available. Many children lack basic necessities such as backpacks, textbooks, proper footwear, or even uniforms. It is what is it, yet they go to school knowing that one day their education will change their situation.

Congratulations OP and this is a very good initiative that helps to share the knowledge of bitcoin and also share love in the community which you live in. Some people will always want to do charity for the society but procrastination and sometimes ability to do it always weaken those purpose. This is a very nice move and initiative Op. Nigeria is in an obvious state of economic hardship with price of things rising like wild fire. Overtime education has become more and more expensive with its quality dropping by the day. It is very lovely to see you make a good leap for kids like this.
I don't  know if you are religious but I hope that the prayers of these kids do help you especially financially.
You have made a memorable event in the life of those kids and the most interesting part is you made Bitcoin part of it. I wish if the school authority had permitted you you could have given them a very short lesson about Bitcoin with some added fun.
