261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin’s biggest mystery soon be revealed? on: May 07, 2019, 12:16:10 PM
And is it worth revealing the secret of the Creator of bitcoin at all?I think that knowing who Satoshi Nakamoto ordinary users of crypto currency will not lose anything. But if the secret of the Creator of bitcoin is really revealed,it can very badly affect Satoshi Nakamoto(or the one who created bitcoin). After all, Bitcoin was created for the revolution in the banking sector. Accordingly, it represents a threat as well as the creators of Bitcoin.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 arrested in Bangladesh for merely trading Bitcoin on: May 05, 2019, 08:15:54 PM
Though the attempt of using bitcoin even though it is banned in their country is very interesting to know as they still keep on trading even knowing that they will be punish once they will get caught.

As the news says they have shut down a website but didn't mention what type of business those three guys were running. I assumed, they definitely were running a currency exchange site where they were buying selling cryptocurrency with BDT. Of course Bitcoin is banned there and on the other hand they were running an unregistered business which is a financial service. And afaik in all countries, all the financial services must go under some strict rules from the central banks.
I also had this question in my head.If they just traded cryptocurrency then I'm sorry for them.If they were engaged in fraud, that the police did everything right.I certainly do not know what laws in Bangladesh regarding cryptocurrency, but in my country as yet undecided on the status of cryptocurrency,so I began to worry about myself.

264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meet the Wealthiest People in Crypto on: May 05, 2019, 07:46:38 PM
The one thing that the richest in crypto have in common is that they are all the types to “HODL” (hold on for dear life), meaning that they hold on to their cryptocurrency through any downturns in the market and aren’t quick to make crypto-to-crypto or crypto-to-fiat trades.
It is easy to say that they have such a strategy, when they are in fact millionaires. In general, I think that they are billionaires, but for the public and tax services, they are millionaires.and the list of 19 people seems too small to me.In fact, there are many more millionaires in crypto. We can only guess at the actual number.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where would you like to see Bitcoin accepted? on: May 05, 2019, 07:31:27 PM
i would like to see bitcoin in any aspects of businesses as a mode of payment such in fastfood, restaurant,in all universities,
different malls, company etc....so everybody happy, Cheesy Wink
I think in order not to list further, we can conclude that we all want Bitcoin to be used as simply as fiat money. I would not mind getting a bitcoin wage.In fact, I met the real use of bitcoin only in online casinos.I am sure that in time the list will expand.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be considered a Religion? on: May 04, 2019, 02:57:28 AM
How did you even get the idea to create a post with this name?Bitcoin is a new technology and at the moment a quick way to make money. But it clearly has nothing to do with religion.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: May 02, 2019, 07:48:39 PM
https://news.yahoo.com/cryptocurrency-thefts-fraud-hit-1-211446327.html

In Q1 alone of 2019 there was $356m in theft of digital currencies from exchanges and scams while losses from fraud hit 851m. This number includes the QuadrigaX scam which accounts to about $134m in total losses.

What can we do to help stop these from happening and getting worse?
I think it is difficult for an ordinary user not to become a victim of theft and fraud.First protect your computer from viruses. Then do not tell anyone or anywhere about your private key.And preferably store it on not a computer. It seems to me the most necessary steps of any owner of cryptocurrency.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Comparisation with BTC and Other Payments Methods. on: May 01, 2019, 06:30:14 PM
To compare bitcoin with Visa it seems to me there is no sense.According to the author of the post Visa began work in 1974,but bitcoin is only 10 years old and it shows unprecedented success. No financial company can boast of such success. After 10 years, bitcoin will become even more successful and it will be used by billions of people. This is guaranteed and inevitable.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tech Savvy Student Steals $7.5 Million in Cryptocurrency on: May 01, 2019, 06:15:52 PM
According to the announcement, it only took Ortiz just a few minutes to steal more than $5.2 million in crypto from one Cupertino cryptocurrency entrepreneur. He performed this theft back in May of 2018.
By and large, he stole the entire amount from only one rich man.The theme of the post is perceived by everyone as if everyone should admire a young student who was able to steal the money. But in fact, this student could spend time with sense and direct their skills in the right and legitimate direction. And so all these skills will remain with him for another 10 years ....
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm buying alts now on: April 30, 2019, 04:50:47 AM
I think your alt basket is good but maybe not for now I hope you don't sell with a loss just wait until the price recovers in a few weeks, bitcoin has moved up, hopefully the good will be followed by altcoin and for now it's better to invest in potential altcoins.

It will be a very bad idea if you decide to sell altcoins now. The market is rising, but the prices of the cryptocurrencies are not yet high enough. I will wait when they can grow more, and cryptos add at least 40-50%.
This is definitely the right advice. The author has a post good diversified portfolio that, in any case, needs to wait until it starts to grow.40% is quite expected and quite real growth in the near future.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NHCT to be listed on exchange on: April 30, 2019, 04:32:43 AM
NHCT token will listed on several exchange on May 1st. The listing procedure was said to be done early but for some reasons it was postponed.
I have sum 30k+ NHCT token. The current price on DEX is around $0.001, what do you think? Will it be worthy to invest some or sell whatever I have now?
My answer may look trite but it's like this: If there is a demand for this token, then the price will be higher than the one you specified. To sell or not, of course, you decide, but if you really want to, then sell half today and the second half after listing.I am familiar with this project and it looks good. Therefore, ultimately decide on your own what to do with these tokens. Cool
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is advertising for ICOs unethical? on: April 30, 2019, 04:25:55 AM
This has always been and always will be. Very little is spent on advertising and project promotion in relation to the funds raised.Just in addition to advertising, any project also has costs:legal, team salary, rental of premises, payment for utilities.please note that all these costs are borne by the project before the ICO.Generally guys 10% on advertising costs is normal.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jobless No More on: April 29, 2019, 09:26:39 AM
We know that there are many jobless people around world who’s suffering because they don’t have a job or they don’t qualified for the job they want.
if they know or someone introduce them about cryptocurrencies activities they have the opportunity to earn while at home or wherever they are, there are so many easiest ways to earn here , like Airdrops, bounty campaigns and many more, the only requirements here in cryptocurrency world is your knowledge and efforts,
no more resumes and any other documents to be needed.

When everyone knows about cryptocurrencies activities I think no more jobless people out there.
I don't quite agree with You.I can't accept the fact that cryptocurrency can completely replace work.Alas, there is no stability in cryptocurrency. And there is no guarantee that this month You will earn $ 1000 and next month this amount will be the same. There is a high probability that the income may not be at all.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STO vs ICO - FIGHT! on: April 29, 2019, 09:11:03 AM
So recently I cam across this article in regards to Germany's first STO backed by the German financial regulation authority called Bitbond. What do you think about the evolution of ICOs? Do you see it as a positive or a negative?

I would love to hear what you think about it, would you rather invest into an ICO or and STO? What are the main differences / pros and cons between the two? You can read about Bitbond's STO by clicking on the link below.

Also check out the blogging platform that the article is written on, it's a new crypto blogging site that pays you for upvoting articles and writing content. It's a nice way to earn some extra crypto.
I am currently investing in a decent in my opinion ICO and participate in the IEO.Alas, for some reason I have not met STO until today.Be that as it may, if we compare ICO and STO, I choose ICO in this fight.Participating in an ICO is simply much easier and simpler.

There is no struggle. Now in the forefront of IEO.A lot of talk was about the benefits of STO, but in fact all the advantages are in the hands of IEO.If in IEO everything is clear how to participate in it, then how to do it in STO few people know.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun stuff to do with bitcoin? on: April 21, 2019, 08:09:51 PM
I remember the first years of bitcoin's life. There were so many things to do and learn: mining, faucets, wallets, blockchain visualizations, etc.

Nowadays the bitcoin world is pretty boring: mining is for people with deep pockets, faucets don't exist anymore, wallets are getting centralized by big corporations (blockchain.com, coinbase, etc.).

Is there anything fun left to do with bitcoin, any specific application, website, app, anything that will make bitcoin fun and interesting again? Otherwise I just keep on holding and that's it.
All the study options you cite are aimed only at enrichment. But even now there are many interesting things in cryptocurrency that can be studied.I don't even know what To offer you because I'm at a loss.Even sitting on the forum you can find a lot of things useful and interesting.Do not be discouraged.Despondency leads to deep depression.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Deep Dive Into Bitcoin's Scarcity on: April 21, 2019, 07:59:10 PM
I have been always telling my fellow bitcoin investor friends. Bitcoin is scarce!. And it is scarcer than we think.

We mined 17.5 BTC up to the present. 1m BTCs is in Satoshi's account. 4m BTCs is lost.

Grasping this scarcity may help why BTC is still undervalued!

From the article below;

If you own just a single bitcoin, only 17 million other people will ever have as much as you.

We have never had true scarcity until now, and because of that, it's a concept that's hard to grasp.

Furthermore, and scaling up a little,  let's assume bitcoin manages to hit critical mass, and everyone on the planet tries to grab a piece of the action. There would only be 0.003 BTC for each person…

The calculation is too cold.According to Your statement, everyone should strive to purchase bitcoin in view of its growing deficit. But not everyone on the planet has gold and not everyone wants to buy it.But if you look from a pragmatic point of view, right today you can buy 1 Bitcoin and not worry about your old age Cool
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vacation and Bitcoin on: April 21, 2019, 07:44:26 PM
Been to Thailand and was amazed how some of the businesses adopted to crypto by accepting bitcoin payments. The very first thing that I look for are those places that accepts bitcoin payments. What I did is visit some good spots and was so excited to experience the fun and the idea of using bitcoin as payments in exchange for certain services or goods.

I can't forget the experience I had with The Pink Panther in Bangkok and was really amazed that I was able to pay all the bills with my bitcoins. Such an exciting vacation and adventure together with my friends.

We had also visited Wolff’s Bar and chill for a couple of minutes consuming few drinks.
What a wonderful country with good food and open minded people, embracing the idea of this new technology that we are in.
If you want to travel and chill with your friends and families, don't forget to visit Thailand. You can party all night, drink and eat all you can and just pay with your bitcoin. Less hassle and a lot safer than bringing cash with you. Grin
The downside is that there are some remote beautiful places that has no internet connection.

I'd definitely go back to Thailand next year. Can't wait for that moment to come. Cheesy

Similarly, I can have fun with my friends and relax with my VISA debit card.Personally, I would only use bitcoins from my wallet as a last resort.Although it is very nice to see that Thailand is so loyal to bitcoin. This is very pleasing. That's just wondering how they carry out the payment of taxes? Wink
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be this type of Bitcoiner on: April 21, 2019, 07:38:18 PM
Haha.

https://twitter.com/francispouliot_/status/1049313082344988673?s=21

Quote
"Buying Bitcoin is about exiting fiat. It's a bet on the future collapse of fiat money financial system. Bitcoin is the only viable alternative. It's vastly superior as censorship-resistant medium of exchage, store of value, network effect, unit of account than all competitors."

He is taking it to the extreme. Why does Bitcoin need to be a "bet" on the future collapse if the established financial system? Does he want it to collapse? Does he believe that it will not encourage instability, disorder, and chaos? What about the other 99.9% of the population who are not Bitcoiners?

It seems to me that this is just the admiration of a man who has long bought bitcoin cheap and sold it expensive). It is clear that if all in an instant will move from Fiat currency to bitcoin then maybe a global war to begin. No joke. Now everything is going gradually, with its pros and cons. Therefore, we will see the final result of bitcoin activity only after a certain time.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung says that smartphones are the safest way to store cryptocurrencies on: April 21, 2019, 07:32:51 PM
I don't think keeping your crypto credentials kept in your smart phones are safer than any other alternative because your phone is easier to steal than your PC or any other device. Once the criminals stole your phone, they can always find a way to get into your phone's core and steal any information they can.
Complete agreement.Even if the phone is not lost, there are still people who will find a hole in android and steal what is necessary.Just now it is not relevant and no one cares about cryptocurrency wallets.(I mean globally). As soon as everyone starts using cryptocurrency wallets on their smartphones and there will be a lot of money spinning, I’m sure someone will find a way to steal assets.
