Wait a second? So is " Satoshi's" account locked too??? Please I'm hoping one day he will return and will post something on bitcointalk... don't tell me if he decides so and tries to login but find's his account is locked.... what a bad feeling it would be? He will create an alt claiming that he needs to recover his Satoshi account. No one will believe him. He will try to explain everyone but nothing will work. He will keep bumping the topic but theymos will never notice it considering he lost his pgp private keyconsidering he lost his pgp private key I think theymos has certain way to figure out who the real Satoshi is and Satoshi could prove by signed message from any of the earlier bitcoin addresses that he used for receiving block rewards unless he also lost access to all those addresses too I'm more worried about bitcoin price if Satoshi ever returns, recovers his BTC and sells them off I have heard that Satoshi Nakamoto is probably dead because Satoshi was Hal Finney ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) but who knows ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Hello, I have heard that old bitcointalk accounts from 2013-2014 are automatically locked to prevent hacking these accounts. It is true? Because I see many people here have locked accounts and they canīt access to their accounts for a long time. How long does it take to unlock the account approximately?

Coinbase or GDAX support fiat. And many others are working on it, I have heard that Kucoin, Binance and COSS will support fiat soon!

No way, it's the most pointless thing what I've ever seen in the cryptoworld. Donīt do KYC when you are not an investor!

Thank you for your thoughts, but nobody still convinced me that cryptocurrency are not overvalued. I mean some obvious evidence..

" unless accounts have posted the same cryptocurrency address or external account name (telegram/facebook/twitter) from different BitcoinTalk accounts, "
This should not be taken as multiaccounting, I think that many users here posting someone else's telegram or friendīs telegram (because they do not have telegram, or they do not want to be bothered) Or they buy new twitter or facebook account. Also my blog was misused several times by another bitcointalk profile.
I'm personally more concerned about all the shitposters in the general forums posting away for their sig campaigns... necroposting threads from 2016... adding incomprehensible google translate nonsense into discussion threads... asking the same question that has been asked (and answered) about 3246286 times etc. Well, it is because signature campaign requires some posts per week, so bounty participants have to post - they have to, they do not want and I think this is the main problem.

No one will tag unless you provide eth or token transaction between them or any other strong evidences. Only registered or joined on bounty same date it dose not mean they are connected.
Language switch, poor quality of posts, almost same posts, only in turkish, everything is okay, right? Some of the evidence is fairly circumstantial... unless accounts have posted the same cryptocurrency address or external account name (telegram/facebook/twitter) from different BitcoinTalk accounts, I (personally) don't think that we can confidently say accounts are "alts" based purely on token transfers either (although some are getting tagged for it). Are token transfers suspicious? yes... are they proof of alt accounts? I'm not 100% convinced unless there is other evidence to back it up. But I would like to know, if someone buy Legendary member, changes email, password and woke up from a long period of inactivity - it is considered as a hacked or bought account? Will you tagg the account? Because I see many tagged legendaries for this ... But member accounts are not in your interest?
Things like the language switch and posting gaps etc tend to indicate an account has possibly be sold or hacked... again, isn't a definite proof. If you have absolute proof that the account was bought/sold then you'll find DT members who will tag it. " unless accounts have posted the same cryptocurrency address or external account name (telegram/facebook/twitter) from different BitcoinTalk accounts, " This should not be taken as multiaccounting, I think that many users here posting someone else's telegram or friendīs telegram (because they do not have telegram, or they do not want to be bothered) Or they buy new twitter or facebook account. Only administrators can view the IP change or?
The only person that can get IP address related information is theymos (admin). Your IP address is stored everytime you post, moderators can also get hold of this information. Not sure whether they can get hold of registration IP, but, if you make a post, they can access that IP, and if you don't make a post - unless your username is really catchy - you don't need to recover the accoutn as it won't have any value. Also, if you do something like edit someone's trust or send a pm, your IP will also be stored. I would like to stake my ETH address because I donīt have BTC, is that possible? I think that ethereum could sign message too or?
Eth addresses can be signed, where is the eth address? I'd consider asking you to download an ethereum client rather that using an online client (as tryninja suggested above). It'll make your address, funds and this account a bit more secure. Understand, but a lot of people could have same IP address and also multiaccounts are allowed, so only way how to red tag them is when they sending tokens to each others, right? (This means abusing bounties)

Interesting. Thank you for the explanation. And how are the hacked accounts discovered? Only administrators can view the IP change or? Because I posted in my second thread probably hacked/bought accounts - swicth language, time gap and still they arenīt tagged, how DT moderators evaluate what is hacked/bought and what is not?
apoorvlathey gave you good answers. I will only add few things. Only theymos can check IP addresses, but it's bad indicator. People are using Proxies, TOR, VPN, dynamic IP addresses, so it's proof that account was sold/hacked when IP address change. Language is one of indicators. If account owner posted only in English and then immediately starts to post in Russian for example, it's likely that account was bought/hacked. And if high ranked user with good history of posts start to make low quality posts - it's another sign of bought/hacked account. Well, it is an indicator (language switch and low quality posts) but look at my thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3761515 nobody wants to tag them all, why? It is tolerated that member could post low quality but Hero canīt?
