If auspost is anything like canadapost it won't show until it reaches your country. This order is taking longer than the preorder from time of delivery but at least it shows as being in my country since Friday.

Been mining for almost a year and using a desktop wallet. Finally getting some new equipment and more bitcoins (hopefully).  Wondering what yall think about online wallets like Xapo or Coinbase etc?

Thanks,
JT

if you don't like to own your own coins this should be fine

slush found 9 blocks in the last 24 hours. seems pretty lucky to me.

maybe, maybe not, that's how luck works, everything should balance out. may take a week a month or a year. i have been on this pool over 3 years and it always balances out and seemingly on the positive side ( dunno why, slush must be exceptionally lucky I guess)

this bad luck streak seems just like back in Feb, March until we had an incredibly long good luck steak till a week or so ago. hopefully this bad luck streak is shorter.

all the newby theories above will look quite silly to them once they have read and learned how bitcoin and mining works.

You need to vent at the top and bottom... At the botton you can put in a 8" fan, at the top you can use Dundas insulated 4" conduit and an inline fan to move air from the top of your room over to an exhaust outside. It looks like you're in a garage, so there should be some venting around going outside.  Here's a couple of links:

Insulated duct: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0049H9970/ref=pe_385040_30332190_TE_dp_1
4" Inline fan: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F6BL11U/ref=pe_385040_30332200_TE_item
8" inline fan: http://www.amazon.com/VenTech-DF8-Duct-Fan-400/dp/B005KMUHWY
Transition: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00009W3GE/ref=pe_385040_30332200_TE_item

Good luck with your room man...

The S3's are all venting out of the enclosure.  The only problem is they cannot pull enough air into the room.  A simple whole in the wall will suffice to fix the problem.

Also, to the OP, your insulation will still be very beneficial to keep the radiating heat from coming through the walls.  It just would have taken some extra math to learn that 16 S3's have more CFM than your window AC can move.  Who knows....Maybe just removing the window barriers next to the AC would be best.

I agree with this. get an AC that will push more air than your S3's combined

If someone finds your dollar bill laying around on the ground they can spend it. Dollar bills still work just fine. Dont give your trezor to anyone else, problem solved. If you lose it, oh well you only had 100 bucks on it or w/e is the analogue to what you might keep in your regular fiat holding wallet.

You see, here I disagree. Why would anyone buy a trezor for 120 bucks to only carry an average of 100 bucks around. Doesn't sound too practical tbh.

you are correct. this is not the intended use I believe. if you lose it, your life savings are protected as good as you protect the seed.

Are you using four pci cables per Ant?

No, just two, but please note consuming watts from wall is going to 440W
My PSUs are 700W

so an extra 100watts for 60GH/s ?

Load balancing? Mine are 200+, both in Slush and Chash.

yes I see now, thank you, I missed that part
274  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [5000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: August 04, 2014, 02:12:45 AM

All 8 of the S3 miners are now showing about 200 GH/s +/- on both Slush and Ghash.
Perfect.

200Gh/s? You must have made a mistake. I get 440Gh/s per S3 across all of them.

just ordered another one from your Eshop. good to have a backup in case my first edition doesn't survive the pint-o-beer test (just kidding about the beer).

Compensation will be based on preserving the $/GH ratio of the original deal.

Not enough. You also missed the promised J/GH rating. That directly ties into how long these machines will be run. Lower J/GH means they must be turned off earlier. Please consider this failure in your compensation calculation.
this seems fair. this is what CT should have done instead of nothing but a big FU
