Что то не очень оно привлекательно выглядит с ценой 600$ + 10% пошлина на ввоз комп. оборудования в Россию + доставка 88$, если учесть, что за 500$ покупается 7970 и выдает 700Mhs Поправил. С налогом дела немного по другому обстоят.  Итого 748$ за один сингл... |

On other side it's more profitable for others to rent mhashes there, so not need pay for electricity, which is a huge plus. Maybe it's more profitable way for some than to mine with own rigs.

Покупал в июле 2010 для майнинга
Каждая выдает ~ 320 m/hash
Видяхи в отличном состоянии. Хорошо охлаждались
Не разгонял. 320 m/h при температуре ~80
80 C это по вашему хорошо охлаждались? Да там паленки уже должны остаться. Цена конечно запредельная для этих древних паленок, я лучше куплю новые 6870 (320 mh/s, 69C) за 6 т.р. c гарантией. Или 6930, они по эффективности чутка получше будут. |

I think we will see a "rotation" or a "shift" of miners when the difficulty goes up.
The new and more efficient miners will push the less efficient/profitable miners out of the market. The difficulty will probably keep going up slowly, but this effect should keep it in check somewhat.
oh, the people that mine for a loss will drive the profitable miners out of the market? surely you arent talking about those $500 FPGAs i'd rather get pushed out by the hordes of zombified computers I mine with FPGA's and I live where the electricity is dirt cheap. My FPGA's should pay themselves off in a few months, I am VERY far from mining at a loss. I imagine others like me will push out people mining with GPUs where the electricity is costly. I can keep mining at a profit with a high difficulty/low price, botnets and other FPGA miners permitting. How much do you pay for electricity? Wondering what is lifecycle of fpgas. 2 years, even lesser maybe? Warranty for BFL Singles is just 6 months, a fucking joke. Hope it will not die a bit later after it'll end. |

no offence but this doesn't mean a great deal, im sure they have many products just like sandisk do, any specific model you can recommend? DataTraveler DT100G2 and DT Minifun have great speed and excellent performance for writing multiply files at the same time. I've got 16Gb Transcend JetFlash 330 as well, and it's absolutlely horrible for work with any OSes - installed Windows7/Ubuntu on it and it was extremely slow performance. Kingston is about 10-20 times faster in such situations. BAMT is designed as a live cd with very minimal persistency. Therefore, it loads into memory and only writes changes to the config files, so any old stick will work. A faster one just means faster boots and faster loading the stick from your host box. Once it is running, it doesn't make any difference at all. Well, I don't use BAMT, but custom Windows7 with EWF for my rigs, so performance of flash drive is really matter to me. |
