261  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-17]Huobi Lists New Stablecoins Amidst Tether Sell-Off on: October 17, 2018, 06:04:46 PM
I had already asked myself the same question: if any of these stablecoins have their bank account frozen by the bank, how would the price of the establcoin be?

Sorry son, there is no coins for you from now on  Tongue

Stable coins everywhere = possible manipulation everywhere. Everyone is trying to catch the train and grab some profit...
262  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-15] Bitcoin Price Explodes to $7,500 as Tether Loses USD Peg on: October 17, 2018, 05:57:36 PM
I would easily assume that the majority is USDT.

I assume it is intended to be 50-50% but in reality we know what's mean bitfinex after all  Wink

Bitcoin price pegged to USDT shouldn't be mentioned since it is a big manipulation leading newbies to sell their USDT at a low price and buy bitcoin with ~+$1k its real price.
263  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Saudi Journalist Megathread on: October 16, 2018, 07:40:07 PM
Why making a fuss about this one journalist. Saudi are killing hundreds of innocent civilians daily in Yemen. And it is not even on the media.

USA and its allies have the right to indirectly kill (collateral damage) people in their countries : Vietnam, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen...to bring the peace to our world...(zz-clack! song stopped - the old CD-ROM cracked!) but when it comes to directly eliminate a guy inside your country or in your embassy/consulate then come'on it is rude. That's why this story is taking first pages like what happened to Russia for tryin'/killin' its ex-spies and what happened to the UK for killin' the Princess -censored-
264  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Saudi Journalist Megathread on: October 16, 2018, 06:41:25 PM
A smart intelligence agency would kill any enemy and let others think he killed himself, his friend killed him and then killed himself, being shot by a psychic, killed by a car accident..
A clever big boy running a smart intelligence agency and a country (unofficially) would show everyone that he grows up so he decided first to put his whole family and his country's businessmen in a 5 star prison (with a special treat) then he decided to kill his opponent in his country consulate! How smart!
The problem is that the greatest POCUS doesn't give a shit about humans rights nor global warming. All he cares about is his business and how to get as much milk from the Saudi cow (presidency first)...saying some rebels killed the journalist. Hehe, like any1 will believe that the big Saudi boy isn't involved directly in this slaughter.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Saudi consulate butcher shop in Turkey...euh close enough birdy Undecided
265  Other / Meta / Re: Creating an index of Bitcoin Talk avatars. on: October 16, 2018, 06:14:26 PM
I think that i didn't get the idea behind this JC. What's the point of having all bitcointalk members avatar in this site? I mean how it could be useful?

The problem is that our boss doesn't have an avatar https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51vbBSbXshL._SY463_.jpg soz boss just trollin'
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-10-12]Coinbase Launches First ERC-20 Token on Platform on: October 15, 2018, 04:16:02 PM
interesting how this news about 0x token got zero attention from the community
There isn't an official place to post such news in the altcoins sections or else we will be in the 10th page by now.

Coinbase is looking at exchanges like Binance,KuCoin or Cryptopia with their tokens doing pretty well
Yeah maybe, but coinbase is making its first step while the others are miles away  Wink
267  Other / Meta / Re: [TOP-200] The most trusted members (DT1, DT2, DT3) on: October 14, 2018, 12:00:44 PM
Well, wonder know how many "used to be trusted" members are kicked from the list for scamming other users...
Trust system should be seen as a way to avoid scammers not to trust members.
268  Other / Meta / Re: Unfair to Jr.Members on: October 14, 2018, 11:45:31 AM
I find it unfair that those who were already Jr.Members were demoted to Newbie again, it's just unfair, they should have received 1 Merit from the System automatically and so only new members would be needed to get 1 Merit.

Newbies unable to get just 1 merit needs to think again about what they are doing here or simply find another forum to spam on it.
269  Other / Meta / Re: What is my fault? on: October 13, 2018, 07:48:35 PM
Today my bitcointalk account was banned by a Guest for posting a low quality comment to a thread in Alt coin section.
-snip-
Can anyone please tell me what is my fault?

First, you answered the question that you were asking.
Second, you were banned by a moderator but the forum doesn't provide names to avoid harassment and stupid comments.
Third, give the link to your account, maybe someone could give you more information.
270  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 2018 USA Mid Terms! Red or Blue Waves?!? on: October 08, 2018, 05:47:26 PM
I think the house and senate will stay Republican at this point.  Cool

Donkeys will crush da house while elephants will break da senate. Well this isn't very important since the most important thing ever is to keep seeing the big kid making America great again like it was before 1492. Good ol' days
271  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-07]Venezuela Mandates Passport Fees Must Be Paid on: October 07, 2018, 08:39:23 PM
From where Venezuelan will have the money to get 1 petro if they are unable to find something to eat...
The use of technology is good but an initial airdrop has to be done so people can embrace this new cryptocurrency and use it.
272  Economy / Reputation / Re: [List] Red to Neutral | Lauda Get Removed from DT on: October 07, 2018, 08:29:22 PM
I have a feeling that many of these people are fairly harmless and probably aren’t scammers by any reasonable standard

They should be checked by the default trust user before tagging them although afaik most of lauda negative trust has a valid reason.

Good job S_Therapist. Let's make bitcointalk clean again Wink
273  Other / Meta / Re: Lauda Not Anymore in DT now | How DT does work? on: October 07, 2018, 01:27:10 PM
Someone must have excluded him recently. Who is he?

I didn't follow BTCtalk-drama channel from a while since I am busy lately but I assume HostFat is the third one (might be inaccurate).
Anyway, there should be a way / buttons to check and include all the trust list of another member or a part of it to your trust list directly without adding 999 members one by one...
274  Other / Meta / Re: Should Gavin Andresen be given a better rank on this forum? on: October 06, 2018, 07:05:23 PM
It might be time for theymos to strip him of his developer badge as it is no longer relevant.

He made an effort in the past that should be recognised imo. Stripping a badge from an old developer isn't a good idea, maybe changing it to "old developer" is better.
275  Other / Meta / Re: Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements on: October 06, 2018, 06:55:45 PM
Dear Sir,

Promotion of bounty and justification of work that we have promoted the work in social media sites by posted links in a forum are mostly considered as the spam post.

Could you please, lighten this topic whether we should work to promote the altcoin or just leave and do quality post rather than quantity post as lots of people are earning from this as part-time employment. But Since Merit is needed lots of people are now struggling. Some countries English is secondary language so they are also struggling to write a good post.

Well farmers need to milk their cows in order to get money but they have to feed them to survive.
In BITCOINtalk you can keep posting in altcoins but don't expect a merit reward for that. If you don't know English just post in your local language topic/board or maybe it is time to learn a new language properly?
276  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 04-Oct-2018] on: October 06, 2018, 06:42:43 PM
Payments processed for bitvest signature campaign by Lutpin today. The red asterisk could be removed.
Hope the delays between each payments will be reduced in the future.
277  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ Bitvest.io - Plinko Sig. Campaign ★☆★ (Member-Hero Accepted) on: October 06, 2018, 06:38:49 PM
I confirm receiving my payment. Thanks lightlord and Lutpin.
278  Other / Meta / Re: Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images on: October 03, 2018, 06:10:02 PM
Hi,

If I get copper membership does that allow me to wear custom avatar?

Thanks for your reply.

No avatar is restricted to full member ranks and above for now. Maybe one day theymos will allow new special ranks to have this advantage, maybe.
279  Other / Meta / Re: Captcha bypass on: October 03, 2018, 05:27:48 AM
Will hacking an account through this link be easy than previous?

Normally it has 0 effect on the hacking thing. It is just a link that will let you insert your login without resolving captcha. If the hacker already has your credentials, he will hack your account whether he has this link or not.
280  Other / Meta / Duplicated topics in the press section. on: October 01, 2018, 07:17:13 PM
Hello, since my report was neglected unhandled from September 28, 2018 to this date, lemme post it here, it may incite others to stop doing the same mistake (creating duplicated topics in the press section) over and over.

User Setare started this topic at this date informing users about his site which isn't really accurate to post in the press section but euh it is a news anyway 2018-09-08 IranbyBit.com offering tourism services in Iran for Bitcoin

Then as always another user made a duplicated topic (the old one was in the first page btw...) (whoever he was, i would tag even theymos if he made a duplicated topic)
[2018-09-24] IranbyBit: Bitcoin-Powered Tourism Fueling Iranian Economy
So?

Edit : btw forget to add how cute to have 5 topics in the first page brought from the future.
