Iconomi +392% today!! Iconomi

On which exchange? It is still a little bit below the 0.0019 ETH swap rate.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [FCT] The Factom Protocol on: November 29, 2018, 01:52:33 PM
Why the new thread and why is a newbie account making it? Now you don't have the ability to add graphics/logos to the thread. All of the history of the old thread is gone now too.

Can you at least link to the old thread?

Also, can the team please keep this thread up to date with regular updates and interactions with forum members?
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 29, 2018, 01:48:24 PM
Hello folks, this thread's top post has been updated to note that much of the original content is drastically out of date and that there was consensus for a new thread management plan, meaning there is now a new thread to cover and keep up to date on all the good things regarding the protocol.

Link to the new thread

URL, if you prefer: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5077258

We'll lock this thread soon, but wanted to give a chance for any of you to wrap up any ongoing conversations here first Smiley

Why not just edit the opening post? It's not like you don't have the ability to do this. Not sure about the reasoning. You are throwing away all the history of this thread.

I see the new thread is opened by a different newbie account too, why not with the FACTOM account? Now you can't use pictures/logo's in the new thread. Seems like a very strange decision.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitShares 2.0 on: November 28, 2018, 02:40:57 PM
what happened with bitshares  yesterday?
Was chain freezed? How could it happened?

Why do you say this? Any source for this information? I can't really see anything in the explorer.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 42-coin Development Discussion Thread on: November 28, 2018, 02:28:23 PM

I must say, I read one of Andrey123 posts in the BlackCoin thread and for me I also started to doubt when I saw Cyrillic characters (sorry) and a file hosted on Mega.

I just wanted to say the Cyrillic thing had nothing to do with my post - I work with a lot of Russian speaking individuals in Lisp communities on irc and telegram. Scammers can be found amongst any national group. Remember your wallet will default to the language used by your operating system in most cases.

It's true about the reverting back to the default language of the OS, but still, I can see how a lot of people might interpret this wrong. In that sense I would think some effort to run the wallet in a VM on an English OS would not be a bad idea, just for screenshot purposes.

Shiiiiiet his portfolio is only $43k now
https://www.cryptocompare.com/portfolio-public/?id=120643

What a mad ride was it.

from 10k to 1million and down to 40k. Still up 4x. Gz.  Grin

Is it also possible to see when the last update was done on the portfolio? Maybe he has cashed some out around the top already, you never know.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: SophiaTX has recently attended Evanta's Global CIO Executive Summit in Boston on: November 26, 2018, 04:49:41 PM

A new partnership between SophiaTX and Magnus Consulting is set to deliver enterprise blockchain to ASEAN

  Read about it here: http://bit.ly/2FBkq0v

Congratulations, the team in Malaysia are proving their worth. Hopefully this will result in a lot of companies making use of the SophiaTX blockchain.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] LaLa World : An ecosystem for migrants and their families on: November 26, 2018, 04:35:15 PM
DPoS is a consensus mechanism that prevents people with large stakes from calling all the shots. It relies on a process in which the decision makers are voted into power who can produce blocks to validate a transaction.

This article is similar to the one posted last week:

https://blog.lalaworld.io/proof-of-stake-vs-proof-of-work/

Was this on purpose?

I wonder if LALA is contemplating to migrate to their own dPOS blockchain? I think that would be a great step in creating more awareness for the LALA World project, and of course it is always good to not have to be dependant on ETH.

269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] (QTUM) - A Scalable PoS Smart Contract Platform - MainNet Complete! on: November 26, 2018, 04:25:31 PM
What is the better cryptocurrency,Qtum or Komodo?

Btc, eth, ltc

I think he's asking which is better cryptocurrency between Qtum or Komodo, not all cryptocurrency or like you had mentioned.

Funnily enough both projects have scammy founders associated with them.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: November 26, 2018, 04:14:21 PM
1600 % up ... not bad.

Inside job that is happening only scam exchange Mercatox which is not allowing to make to deposit there with low trade volume. Some people having fun with sell themselves this is very old trick don't consider this serious rise.
So annoying but there is no such thing as bad publicity, nobody could have bougth this coin on exchanges annyways annymore. I really hoped it was a rebound like factom did :’(

Factom is an actively developed and in-use blockchain with more and more partnerships being added continuously. There is not really a reason for people to buy Iconomi at the moment, as sad as this may be. At least not any higher than the price that Iconomi is willing to swap their token for to ETH.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ Core v6.16.5.1 - DigiShield, DigiSpeed, Segwit on: November 26, 2018, 04:11:21 PM
If the SEC are coming down on desensitised coins where does that leave DGB? I’m a fully fledged DGB supporter and I am just asking the question. Any ideas  guys how this may effect us?

Not sure what you mean with desensitised coins, but DigiByte never has had an ICO. It has been a fairly launched mineable coin. There would be no reason at all for the SEC to come after DigiByte.

A little unofficial development update from Andy/snailbrain for those who don't pay regular visits to the Xaya telegram channel:

Quote
The c++ library is on github and useable. We will be releasing some news in it and other stuff soon.
We have currently (today) just finished a unity example that integrates with libxayagame library and allows the user to create a gamestate processor in c#
It's a port of the mover example in the libxayagame repo.
When we have fully tested and documented we will release the info asap.
We have also been working closely with soccer manager and we have integrated what they have done so far with our library. For now we've calculated the result of a soccer match in a provably fair decentralized way using their match engine Smiley and they have already built most of the UI.

We are also still working on our own secret project...

Saying all that... We will be making a move to discord over the coming weeks .. although we will be using the forum for specific updates and announcements still..

Definitely keep up on the forums and here as well since that is where many users make their investment decisions and keep up with the project. Most people who buy coins don't generally have logins to dozens of project's discord and telegram platforms, but do lurk forums such as Bitcointalk and Xaya Forums without an account.

I agree on this, for me Bitcointalk and the XAYA forums are also easier to filter out all the noise from the public chat channels. I also think there is a big group that really only follows Bitcointalk, since this still is the place where most projects have their inception.

Bitcoin price continues to fall, but our weekly digest remains constant

Haha, at least there is still 1 good thing happening in the blood bath that is the BTC market! Cheesy

Hopefully some concrete connections or partnerships will come out of the Switzerland Blockchain Leadership Summit. Good luck.

Thank you, some good updates. Good to see that the XAYA blockchain already is proving it's potential, connected to the Soccer Manager match engine.

Still looking forward to the secret project! Wink

And I think Discord is a great improvement for communications, paired with the forum.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ Core v6.16.5.1 - DigiShield, DigiSpeed, Segwit on: November 24, 2018, 03:37:24 PM
What is your target for decent entry level on DGB? 30 sats maybe?
There's a good support at the 60 ~ 70 satoshis area

you are mistaking with your own personal net value...

what are you doing here?
Back last year when BTC was around the 3k area DGB was at 90 satoshis. Now that BTC will fall to near 1k, DGB will follow to 60~70 satoshis.

That's simple.

It is not that simple. In the bigger picture the movements of BTC and alts are correlated, but it all depends on that moment in time and the shifts each individual project has had over time. You can't compare it to last year's situation. Also BTC will not fall near to 1k.

276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: November 24, 2018, 02:05:46 AM

Today Stratis hit a good price thredshould to enter. I'm waiting a little more because I think market is not still so stable.

Oh, really, what makes you feel that the market is not so stable? LoL.

Jokes apart, there are fears of Bitcoin capitulating further and should this unfold then the bloodbath would get worse for every coin. I've been buying Stratis' dops for a while but now I've decided to stay on hold.

This is the fear now: Bitcoin has finished going down? Where will it stop? and where will all the other coin arrive?

See Stratis, one of the best projects and teams out there losing so much, as if it were any shitcoin, makes us reflect on the madness of this "little uncontrollable carousel".

Stratis yesterday reached around 15000sat, the price for March 2017; as if in these 18 months there had been no progress, agreements, developments .... all burned.

I really do not know what to think  Huh

Stratis has enough funds to keep going for a while without the need to make money or sell their own stash of coins. Also, its estimated the market will rebound in less than 6 months so we should be fine

It is good that Stratis has secured their funding for a while, because you never know how long it actually will take for the markets to rebound. Hopefully when BTC finds it's bottom and gets a bit more stable.

Bi-Weekly Update: 23.11.2018
https://medium.com/fuzex/bi-weekly-update-23-11-2018-b1bccac771a4

Here’s the last Bi-weekly update of November. This update includes meeting with a new issuer in Singapore fintech conference, upcoming event(Inside FinTech) and additional comment(s).

I was looking to get info about the release of Fuzex card but they didn't share anything in details when this will happen as I remember they are making delay to achieve this goal. It looking it could take more long time than expected that is really important to release a working product to help to survive in hard situation.

This is a shame, it is getting a bit annoying now. I was under the assumption it would be launched much quicker. It does not seem like they have the infrastructure arranged yet.

In order to deliver our promise, FuzeX team is continually engaging in deep discussions with various payment solution companies, with the aim to release our card product to the public as early as possible.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🔥🔥🔥 Exereum 1:1 Ethereum based fork 🔥🔥🔥 on: November 22, 2018, 10:55:07 PM
Interesting project.

How long after the ERC-20 project snapshots will these Exereum be distributed?
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: November 22, 2018, 10:52:37 PM
Did you hear about Exereum? They are making Ethereum fork project and plan to give us airdrop. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4206916

Interesting. I wonder why they chose ICONOMI to take part in the airdrop? When can the tokens be claimed?
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ Core v6.16.5.1 - DigiShield, DigiSpeed, Segwit on: November 21, 2018, 11:27:21 PM
Its very simple. If BTC continues to drop. So will DGB. Its not rocket science. Learn how btc trades and you will know dgb. Only thing that can change that relationship is news related rises, independent of BTC.

Yep, generally it's a case of waiting for BTC to lead the way again before all the alts can simultaneously pop again. Some very substantial news would need to be brought out for DGB to break this correlation.

It would be nice if the team would make a huge announcement out of the blue someday Cheesy
