261  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: March 15, 2024, 08:52:40 PM
....

The bottom is 0, as it usually happens with shitcoins.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/funtoken/

If you look at the all-time graph there you will see what the trend is, and it is getting closer and closer to 0. It only had two spikes, at the beginning, as it usually happens with shitcoins, and when freebitco.in announced it was adopting it. Then the trend has been downward. And the only thing that saves it is because it gives some benefits in the site.

I checked the all-time graph before commenting and have the same conclusions. Honestly, I expected a bit more from FUN at the beginning, I saw some potential in all the benefits they offer, but I was wrong... All I see in the last couple of years is the FUN token sinking deeper and deeper. I sold most of my FUN (with a huge loss) last year, and I said I would get back into FUN when I see it under 10 sats. But now when that time is close I am not sure if it's a smart thing to do, I guess the benefits from holding FUN are nice, but if the price really sinks to 0 then it's not worth the effort I guess...

262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Online Casinos Publish Their Bankroll? Your Thoughts? on: March 15, 2024, 07:40:48 PM
Well, it would be fair if casinos could prove they have enough funds to pay their max possible wins in their various games. That information should be public, at least in crypto it's simple to show the hot or cold wallet address and make this info available for all the players.

But the thing is that most of us play with lower stakes and we are not even near to max payouts. So this question is more for high rollers, people who play with big bets and chase high payouts, if I were a high roller I would choose a casino that can give some guarantees when it comes to their bankroll and max weekly/monthly withdrawals. Many casinos have pretty low weekly/monthly withdrawal limits, probably due to their low bankroll.

263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online Crypto-Gambling Legal in a Country Without Gambling Laws? on: March 14, 2024, 08:20:14 PM
If no laws ban gambling, then it's legal to gamble. I think that this works for most countries:

Quote
We can't be found guilty of a crime if it wasn't against the law when it was committed – and the government must make clear which actions are crimes.

If the government didn't make it clear then you can do it and you will not face any consequences for doing it. When governments step with some regulations that can be a game changer, from that moment it will be clear what is "legal & illegal".

264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: March 14, 2024, 02:44:30 PM
Do you think that the benefits in gambling Worth the invest of your money and your time with knowing that your chances are Just 50/50?

If the benefits are a little relaxation and fun then gambling is worth my time and money. 50/50 chances look great actually, because some of us like to have fun chasing some higher multipliers, and when we choose to play slots chances for winning something great are very low as well.

As it's stated many times, gambling should be all about fun & games, and it's like that if we spend some money we can afford to lose. We can discuss that money can be spent for some better things, but it's individual... while some people enjoy going out and partying some people enjoy spinning slots and betting on other gambling games. At the end of the day, tastes should not be debated, everyone has the right to spend their money on things they like.

If you are User_db43b50a, correct your wallet to claim your winnings.
jackpot winner received his winnings

That's not me, with two tickets and almost a 30% chance of success I didn't have enough luck to win anything, jackpot or big win. So the jackpot went to someone else.

I see that today there are already 12 tickets, that's more than yesterday... it's nice that you are slowly growing. Good luck to everyone! Smiley

and tomorrow you will get a super promo code that will activate 10 tickets and 50$ prize pool.

This is going to be very interesting, is it just for tomorrow's draw or will it be for Sunday's draw?
266  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: March 14, 2024, 09:11:37 AM
For now the FUN token looks good, it doesn't look bad at all, however it is good to still have a Hodl mod because in a possible ATH of Bitcoin this coin can give very good news, so for now or more recommendable is Hodl.

Of course what I say is a simple analysis in general terms, without technical analysis but rather analyzing the current situation of Biticoin and the way things have been developed for the Fun token and the comparison that can be made with respect to the rolbbit token.

Well, if you look at the FUN token's chart over time, it definitely has potential during the upcoming alt season, but not as much as other tokens. Personally, I think that once the full-fledged alt season starts and Bitcoin dominance starts to gradually fall, the price of the FUN token could reach at least 5 cents.

I wouldn't say that FUN tokens look good, 5 cents at this BTC price is 70 sats. The FUN token price is 10 sats at the moment. The price of FUN tokens has gone down over the years. A few months ago I asked the question what are the chances that we will see FUN tokens under 10 sats, and here we are the price is 10 sats... so the big question is where is the bottom? Are we really going to see FUN tokens under 10 sats or is this the bottom finally?

268  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 🃏New Original Game - Blackjack | 💸Play & Win crypto on: March 13, 2024, 09:09:46 PM

It's great that the Betfury team has added crypto swaps within its platform, but the rules that a user must accept to use this feature raise some concerns. What do you think of this paragraph of the rules? It would be nothing if the Betfury site was not periodically subjected to DDoS attacks.
Quote
BetFury does not bear any responsibility in the case of loss of funds, which occurred because of illegal actions of third parties, in particular, but not exclusively in the case of hacker attacks, DDOS attacks, and other actions of third parties, which are aimed at acquiring funds.

They (Betfury) are using a third-party service for swaps, so if something goes wrong they will not be responsible for that. I guess it's just a technicality, everyone takes care of themselves. I will use it without some fear, as others who have "salads" bankrolls... I was moving all in BFG until now, but with more options, I will stop with that.

... Sorry for your loss iv4n, but that is how it goes sometimes. I have had the same bad streaks before and it is frustating. On the other hand, I have a streak of 8 or 9 wins in a row also.

I know, I know... but I am still trying, and all I can say is that BlackJack is eating my nerves and bankroll these days! I guess I am pushing too much, and I expect too much.

Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site?

I follow my prediction  Grin hahaha since this is gambling, not a trading thing, also Im rarely see betting predictions like people who sell prediction or something like that. maybe some sites gives a one or two info about team and odd but I never use prediction unless is sport gambling. Slot game and etc I just pure based on my prediction

ANN Thread here 🏆 GOSUBETTING 🏆 THE ULTIMATE BITCOIN BETTING GUIDE ⚽🏀⚾🏈🎮🎰📈 and site GosuBetting. When it comes to sites that give tips Gosu is a good one, detailed tips with stats and few predictions for each game. They still don't cover all sports & games, but they are growing.

I like to check tips from a few places... I have my ideas, but I enjoy comparing those ideas with others. I will copy/paste bets from other people if I like them, if anything I can get a few ideas when I read detailed descriptions of teams and their stats.
270  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLoto.org - daily crypto lottery on: March 13, 2024, 05:11:41 PM
Do you mean to say that the 5 tickets as can be seen in your site are all comes from the free code you shared?
If it is true, means that there is no one is buying your tickets with real money so far?
I checked your winner history page as well and it is still empty, your lotto is daily lotto and looking at your first post means that you should have done at least 2 rounds.
Were there no winners in the first 2 rounds or were there no players at all?

Maybe we can conclude that's what happening here since we don't see anyone discuss regarding on their participation and they need to come up with promo codes as part of there marketing but it seems this one didn't work for them. If they continue to experience this and no gamblers will gamble on the lottery they held then provably that they will see them fail. But lets hope that's not the real case happening here and we can still see them exist and compete because its nice to see a lot of casino became alive since competition is good for players since they would have a lot of choices to choose. For now maybe they need to consider to increase there exposure and find another way to market well their lottery site.

It's hard to start with an "only lottery" casino, especially with just one draw per day and a $5 ticket. We have seen many attempts, and most of them failed to stay alive... only l0tt0 is surviving, but they have a nice offer of games & promos and we can play with lower stakes, which is important for many lotto players.

Anyway, I decided to give it a try, and I think I have a good chance of winning the jackpot. Smiley

the drawing will take place in an hour, we're publishing another promo code. GH50

Well, 30 minutes ago I claimed a ticket with an old code and I claimed another ticket with this code. Is it allowed? Now I have two tickets.

271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Man bet his life savings on 1 spin of Roulette on: March 13, 2024, 03:29:42 PM
This is an ancient video, it's been years since I first saw this. Surely this is a crazy move, but I understand it... For many of us, this is a lot of money, and few people would decide to make such a move, but the man was aware of his move, free to do whatever he wants with his money he decided to take a risk and won. He would be a real lunatic if he had a family to support or if he did it with the family money, but that is not the case here... he risked his money, I guess the money he could afford to lose, and I think we need to respect his decision.

Definitely a bold and crazy move and it paid off for this guy that time, but not all bold and crazy moves end happily! Before placing a bet like this one people must know that they can lose, and of course, to be prepared for that outcome.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Get one btc right away or 5 btc with a bet? on: March 12, 2024, 03:29:16 PM
It's not always easy to make the right decisions. Are you a gambler? If you're offered 1 btc without playing or 5 btc by playing (with a chance of 2 to 1). What do you do?
If there is no catch, then 1BTC without playing is what I would take.

This is because the bigger reward of 5BTC needs you to take a risk of playing but the 1BTC is risk free. Even though greed might make you go with the higher reward, the smaller reward (by no means actually small) is a confirmed pay.

This is how logic comes in play which gamblers lack or have decayed over the years of gambling addiction.

For many of us, 1 BTC is a lot of money, so most of us would choose to take that 1 BTC instead of risk it for 5 BTC. It's a smart thing to do... and I am sure that we would make a deposit right after that and gamble with some lower stakes.

I am not sure how much money I would need to have to risk 1 BTC to win 5 BTC... maybe 100 BTC or even more, so risking that 1 wouldn't be a big loss in case I lose the bet.

🎉Congratulations to the Ten Lucky Winners of Round 458!🎉

...

Congrats to the winner with just 79 lottery tickets! Even the second place looks like a great win with just 138 tickets! Amazing! Both of them won a lot of money with just a "few" tickets in their hands! I guess that's how it is when the lady of luck smiles at someone. I am still waiting my turn...

Do you think that the majority of the people come to freebitco to claim the hourly faucet  Huh

Probably so. When you go to the site, you can also click on "free spin", for those who hold FUN there is no captcha, so it's just a click. It's not big, but some people can use it and place bets and with that. Free fun. Smiley
274  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which Casino and Sportsbook have the best UI? Which others can improve? on: March 12, 2024, 09:55:10 AM
Do we actually need to prove anything here when we have the ability to try and test any gambling platform to see how their user interface look and if we are not comfortable with any we can switch to other casinos for more better satisfaction, we are not tied down to using a particular gambling website when there are a lot already waiting for our trial, the reason why they often compete with each other because each want to offer the best that through such they can retain their gamblers.

We don't need to prove anything, opinions and tastes differ, which is normal, and each of us likes some sport book more or less for some reason. So we are here to share those reasons with others... there's no harm in that, and some people can decide to try a new sports betting site just because they saw some nice description here.

I agree that people should be free to test different sportsbooks and if they don't like something they should just move to another one, and this thread (and similar ones) can help them to decide which one to try next. Reading about specifics and UI's of different casinos can save them from wandering around and needlessly registering on different sites.
275  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺Spinarium.com🐺 - iGaming casino with 400% welcome bonus + 200 free spins 🎮. on: March 11, 2024, 09:46:29 PM

To be honest, I was thinking to take their welcome package as well because their in-house game is included as games that contribute towards wagering requirement.
Luckily I have not done it yet and you shared your experience so I decided to cancel my plan to test this casino by taking the welcome package.
Did they tell you what's happened with your first deposit bonus which is stated as bonus wagering is not completed while you have not started yet?
@Spinarium, kindly give explanation and clarification about this issue and I have to say that you have just lost 1 potential player.

I would like to hear their explanations as well. It's very strange to see 60 minutes for completing wagering requirements, I have never seen anything like that. Although their welcome package looks nice with this rule and changing the bonuses just like that without any notifications I think they will lose more than one potential player.

I ran through the ToS and I didn't see anything about bonuses and wagering requirements. But this one is interesting:

Imagine opening the site and seeing that you owe some money to the casino... Smiley
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling : Next Generation Challenges on: March 11, 2024, 08:21:39 PM
The online gambling companies have to reform themselves as this will be a new demand from the young generation who are coming to online gambling and they need socialization also while gambling (like we used to have in physical gambling).

I have seen some videos about Meta casinos, everyone has their own avatar and people hang out and gamble (probably doing whatever else), the graphics are amazing and everything looks like a sci-fi movie. Is that what we are talking about here? Is this the future of online casinos? Surely the younger generations like this kind of thing. After all, younger generations are fascinated by technology and all that technology has to offer.

I don't know how feasible all this is, apart from big words and promotional videos I haven't seen much. To be honest, I'm not sure if I want to see more, I can't say I like something like this. Instead of talking about better and more interesting games, it seems like these people are thinking about making a virtual world where people can hang out with their avatars. Maybe I am too old for that...
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decentralized vs Centralized Gambling....Which do you prefer? on: March 10, 2024, 08:21:43 PM
...
Do you think decentralized gambling dApps will eventually replace their centralized counterparts? If not, why? Which do you prefer? Centralized or decentralized gambling? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

It's the same as with trading... centralized apps are much faster and offer a lot more than decentralized ones. So I can say that I prefer decentralized, but I am more active in centralized casinos. There are not a lot of decentralized casinos around that can offer so many games (especially third-party games we love) that the majority of people love, so most of us turn to centralized casinos.

And I don't wish to be a "smart ass" here, but the term "decentralized" is being used too easily... lets not forget that decentralized means that "no single person or group has control over something". And most casinos around have a boss. So I think we need to wait a bit more to see a "really decentralized casino".
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We need more multiplayer casino games! on: March 10, 2024, 05:49:33 PM
They all fight and a percentage of the money goes into a single pot and the rest goes to the casino. The goal might be to defeat a "Big Boss" or a "Dragon" or a huge Alien ship .. and the team that takes it down, share the spoils. (The more you play or the higher you bet, the higher your percentage of the total winnings) -
Do you think it will work and will it be more fun to play multiplayer games like this?

This sounds like a bankroll fight to me... the ones who have the highest bankroll will ultimately win the game. I agree that we need more multiplayer games around, but it's hard to create a multiplayer game based on skill. We already have some slot wars (based on luck) around, and crash games for more people (based on luck), but when it comes to multiplayer games based on skill I can't think of any.

Maybe sports betting and different competitions can be counted as multiplayer games based on skill (https://www.gosubetting.com/tipster-challenge/leaderboard/?action=rounds, and some other sports competition), but it's still a passive way of playing games. I am not aware of any skill-based multiplayer game that we can play and win some crypto.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does possessing information play an important role in betting ? on: March 10, 2024, 08:47:00 AM
-Do you apply  this strategy while gambling?
-How do you benefit from it ?

Well, since we are in the gambling section I guess that benefiting means placing a bet and winning from the information we have. But placing a bet and winning are easy parts, getting to some "valuable info" is the hard part.

So the first question is how many people are actually in a position to get/have some really valuable information? I think you are wrong if you think that valuable information is what we read on the internet, where's the point in information if everyone knows about it. Valuable info is when just a handful of people know about it... and if you have some insider info I guess you need to be careful with that. Insider trading/gambling can be illegal depending on your source.

Hey yahoo62278, Thanks. Yeah we can change it to minimum of 2 if it needed. We can use any help we get and we can sort any kind of tourneys you guys ok with. We can discuss it in DMs or any social media you are ok with. Also sorry that I didn't respond to your last post

It would be nice if you would sponsor the next Bitcointalk private poker games. It would certainly be a good advertisement for you, and it would certainly contribute to your forum rating, people would have more confidence in your site.

As Yahoo wrote, I doubt that we can reach 50 players... but depending on the buy-in and the prize pool (if you decide to sponsor the series) I think we can see 20 players or more per tournament. In any case, I will definitely play, I never missed Bitcointalk poker games.
