262  Economy / Speculation / Re: GOX ANNOUNCEMENT - No withdrawals yet! on: February 20, 2014, 12:22:47 PM
Thought this belonged here also.

"MTGOX released the actual version of their announcement , here it is.

Dear Dumbasses,"
"
You are so dumb and retarded for being patient this week, while we are working on initiating bitcoin
withdrawals into our own personal accounts. In addition to the technical issue, some dumbasses have been stopping us at our front door and crying about their bitcoins, and as a result our frappuccinos had to be drank at undesirable temperatures, so we had to relocate MtGox to our previous office building in Shibuya (details can be found here https://support.mtgox.com/home). The move,
combined with some other security and technical challenges, pushed back our progress of stealing your coins."
"
As we are smarter than all you dumbasses we will only provide an “update on an update”, while we nick you coins. We are committed to stealing every last one of your coins and will provide more fud as soon
as possible to keep everyone in the loop."
"
We do not give a flying fuck about the delays and deeply appreciate your kind fucking dumbness and
continuous retarded behaviour."
 "
Best regards,"
"
"
MtGox Team

P.S. You've been fuckin GOXXED"

270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price within the next few hours. on: February 17, 2014, 10:47:38 AM
In Tokyo it's now 19.37, no news for today, so the fear will continue di rise, taking the price slowly down.

Nick

Strange indeed!
271  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price within the next few hours. on: February 17, 2014, 10:46:34 AM
sharp rise on all exchanges.. Insider info perhaps!
272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price within the next few hours. on: February 17, 2014, 10:34:37 AM
Part of me thinks that if gox is still keeping coins out of the economy, prices should go up... however, prices for gox non-coins will obviously go down, and the other exchanges seem to follow like sheep. The sensible thing to do at the moment might be to be sell some coins before gox's "we're sorry, we suck, gives a few more days" announcement, and buy back cheaper, but I think I'll just hodl.

Yes, this happens to me too. Even though the market is screaming that the price will go down, I generally hodl. Smiley
273  Economy / Speculation / Price within the next few hours. on: February 17, 2014, 10:18:42 AM
Hi all

Mtgox's awaited announcement will come any minute and the price, depending on the news will go up or down.

Will the news be positive? Most likely not. Since Mtgox has taken this long to sort out its problems, there is clearly something dark going on.

Since the news looks bad, maybe something like we partially fixed the problem hang in there.

Given all these conditions, and considering that all the exchanges follow mtgox we will most probably see a bearish market within the next few hours.

Prices as low as 580 ( we are talking stamp prices).

Its already past bedtime for mark kraphead in tokyo, make this announcement already!

Did they even say they were going to make an announcement on Today??

Check their previous update, they said a new update would come on monday.

Cheers Wink

To da moon Roll Eyes
277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin falling down? on: February 15, 2014, 09:59:48 PM
Since you are new, think of it like this. 2 years ago you had to multiply a bitcoin by a 1000 to get a pizza. Now you have to divide a bitcoin by a 100 to get a pizza.
278  Economy / Speculation / Re: hold your coin on mtgox on: February 15, 2014, 11:50:11 AM
The real question is who is now massively selling BTC on Gox now and why.
Thousands of coins are being sold in batches (100-300 pieces).

The question is, who the hell is buying them!!
279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 15, 2014, 11:48:55 AM
Gox is going down hard and taking all other exchanges with it..
280  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 15, 2014, 08:35:38 AM
I find extremely unethical that Gox allows deposits knowing their withdrawal system is completely useless. then again, why would people want to deposit anything in Gox?

The lure of buying cheap coins of course.
