@DemetriusAstroBlack Check this website: http://progressivetechcenter.org/our_research.htmlThat is the 'nazi bell' that was mentioned 3 years ago (before Ghost adopted Orbitcoin). It has everything to do with German technology from that period. Nothing wrong with that, for example NASA also build machines based on German technology from that period. @no-ice-please Please read the explanation of Mario again, it's very clear: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=586674.msg14690512#msg14690512Orbitcoin is a honest coin with a honest dev and a honest small but growing community. At the OP you can check the cold Advancement Fund wallet, that is what's left from the exchange in 2014. I'm only a simple Orbitcoin holder and i have trust in this coin. If you or anyone else don't like this coin, no problem, you 're free to skip this forum thread

@rmd73 Indeed, out of the blue they show up with incorrect arguments. Why? Are they trying to push down the ORB price because they want to buy cheap ORB? That's how the pump/dump game works... TvZ and i hold arround 15% all ORB's, bought all Most of it i bought when the price was pretty low. 25% of my ORB is result of staking, not bad

15:53:21  getdifficulty
15:53:21  { "proof-of-work" : 0.39704466, "proof-of-stake" : 0.15998857, "search-interval" : 6 }
at the beginning the difficulty was in POW ORB below 0.10 POS much lower
I remember there were days the PoS diff was only 0.02 or even less. Last week for a very short time 0.09 and past days even 0.25. Good old days Staking works like a charm anyway, no other coin ever gave me a better stake result than Orbitcoin does.

I'm a (new) OpenBazaar user, looks very promising.
Network seems a little unstable, sometimes my client can't connect for hours, even after many restarts and opening ports. I found out that many others are having the same issue. This must be fixed soon.
Anyway, i like serverless projects like OpenBazaar, hope it will be an success.

Thanks for your support. Orbitcoin v1.5.1.0 should be ready in a couple of days. Most of the code is on GitHub already. This is the major update since 2014 which brings compatibility with current versions of dependent software including Qt 5, C++11, BIP66 (OpenSSL Strict DER), etc.
That's good news. Thanks for informing us

Don't care about the trolls, they have nothing better to do...
Orbitcoin is a great coin, Ghost has done a fantastic job and hopefully he will keep doing that for many years!
All my respect and support!

In may 2014 i bought my first ORB. Still my favourite coin Since day 1 till now thousands of ORB 'earned' just by letting stake my Orbitcoin.

I suppose a big ORB holder was in need of money fast and sold lots of ORB much too cheap. Well, that's good for me, i bought some more ORB because the price will rise again, no doubt about that In about 2 months (?) ORB will reach block 2M and PoW/PoS will halve, step in now, don't miss the boat... yes and the ORB inflation halved soon blocks" : 1738760 - 2,000,000 = 261,240 / 1440 per Day = 181,4166666666667 Days more than 2 Month Thanks, i wasn't sure about that Bought an extra 10k ORB last night

You can also stake your ORB at Safecex. Just keep your coins into your Safecex wallet.

@bitkokos2
Your ORB will stake, but when PoS diff is high it will take longer. Be patient and keep your wallet running.
@thefix
Very sad news, Coinwallet was a great way to stake ORB and many other coins.

I had an Orbitcoin wallet with pretty much ORB in it... and a lost password Dave was my last hope to unlock the wallet. And he did! If you ever need to unlock your wallet, i recommend Dave's wallet recovery service, he's a very nice and trustable guy. Dave, many many thanks for your help, i really appreciate it.
