I thought that was the reason we gave the Lisk team $10,000,000.
To work on these stuff, if we're doing all that ourselves we better use another currency that we own % of it. I'm not paying someone $10,000,000 and working for him for free.
1. There is no we, you didn't pay the team anything. You bought in at 80k on an exchange as you reminded us many times. 2. We who did invest in the ICO actually read the terms so we knew what we are paying for (btw, it was technically "donating"). And it was not for dapp development. The main job of the core team is to create a solid, stable code base, with the necessary features that make dapp development possible. Making applications and actually using the Lisk network is up to the community. We are the ones who have to develop or at least fund developments. Either way good luck finding someone working for free. Why not just wait till Lisk reaches a stable version, fork it, and then release your dapp on that new fork? Lisk doesn't have any dapps right now for anyone to stay on it, so people will jump ship pretty easily. how not to win friends and influence people. you are definitely a dick. ignored...permanently. |

I have a few questions?  Is synereo trying to become a blockchain based search engine + social platform? In synereo, viewers  are to be rewarded with amps as well as content creators? The rewards for viewing is suppose to be based on something called "reo" which is like a ranking system? The higher your "reo" rating the more amps you get for viewing, is that correct? Will it be possible to upload videos on synereo? Thanks for answering, I tried reading the whitepaper but it's hard for me to understand fullly, English is not my first language. English is my first language, but reading whitepapers can still be difficult to fully understand :-) |

Let's see this baby make some waves now until Sept  I have a feeling there's gonna be plenty of waves The potential for this platform is huge. You have to be blind not to see that. If that centralized scam "Steem" can reach $337 Million USD, just think what a real decentralized social networking platform powered by the attention economy can reach. Imo, I think we are going to see a dramatic price increase before the Sept crowdsale. i would suggest there's a causal relationship between the degree of centralisation and the speed of price pump. the more centralised in the hands of the devs the more potential to pump higher and faster. Synereo's structure makes it an organic growth proposition (slower and steadier). steem ran out of hot air. |

Am I the only one who is worried by Sasha's tweets about polo and ETC? I am not saying at all if he is right or wrong. Some say polo will never list waves after such tweets but I think that the fact that polo wont list waves has already been known to Sasha for some time now. So it is not like he 'started a war", like someone mentioned, I think it is more like he knows waves wont be on polo so he has no reservations to say what he thinks is right.
This worries me. It's not like polo is a make it or break it for every coin but it surely is important. I mean, is there even 1 coin in the history of cryptocurrency that is doing well an isn't listed on polo? Hopefully it is not like this but I'm still thinking that the reason why Sasha is so direct is becasue he might have some confirmation that waves wont be on polo so now he is free to speak his mind. Otherwise, I dont see the reason why would one want to piss off polo moderators.
I'm very disappointed as well. A listing on Poloniex is perceived by many as an "endorsement" for a solid project. Waves is a potential threat to the Poloniex business model. |

I hold mine in the original ICO address secured with a 2nd passphrase. does a second passphrase work without issue? Yes. Just make sure to save it. as a .txt? i feel sorry for our friend from Portugal. It works correctly IF you recorded the 2nd passphrase that was applied to the Lisk address. There have been some cases where users have made a mistake by applying a 2nd passphrase, but not recording it correctly. This will lock you out of the account, with all LSK in it inaccessible. In my opinion, a second passphrase is crucial to keeping your Lisk address very secured. thanks. are second passphrases only auto generated, or is there the option to manually choose the twelve words? |
