261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: October 21, 2016, 11:00:41 PM
I am not sure that bitcoin could be replaced by other digital currencies. bitcoin digital currency is the first in the world. I still believe bitcoin will be used by everyone in the world and none of interference from other altcoin.

yeah bitcoin is bigger in compare to other digital currencies so I don't think that any other coin has potential to replace bitcoins and even if it happens then it will take long time.

Bitcoin is just 10x bigger than ETH and well, it's a "new" currency...
I'm here just waiting Microsoft invest in the ETH or ETC and make the prices goes to sky.

What makes you say that Bitcoin is 10 times bigger than Ethereum? Is it because of the fact that the market capitalization of Bitcoin is 10 times the one from Ethereum? If so, then it's a bad comparison. If not, then please state your explanation as to why Bitcoin is 10 times bigger than Ethereum.

Secondly, Microsoft will not invest into Ethereum as there is no reason/need for them to do so. Just think about it, why would a company worth $461 billion pump their money into something so tiny as Ethereum? Their only interest is the blockchain from Ethereum, and that's it. It doesn't cost them any effort to create their own private version of Ethereum's blockchain.

Yes, 10x on marketcap... 10 billions x 1 billion

Here's some news about Microsoft and ETC https://news.bitcoin.com/microsoft-looks-rebel-ethereum-classic/

Microsoft is big because they know where to invest Wink
262  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Bons sites para ganhar e investir Bitcoins on: October 21, 2016, 10:04:04 PM

265  Local / Primeiros Passos (Iniciantes) / Re: Indicação de Bons Faucets, alguem? on: October 21, 2016, 09:53:19 PM
Este faucet paga instataneamente é so informar na pagina o endereço da sua carteira, resolver o captcha e clicar no botao "Get Reward" pronto, voce 500 satoshis
Segue link http://www.lorenabit.16mb.com/

Boa sorte.

267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happen with bitcoin after not mineable? on: October 21, 2016, 09:36:06 PM
what happen with bitcoin after not mineable?
miner will stop his mining activity ? then how to make bitcoin network strongest ?
and how about the price of bitcoin ?

If there isn't any miner mining then it means that the network will be shut down or on the idle mode, no transaction can be confirmed.

How can a Hero Member say that?
They will still earn money because of the fees and of course the fees will be more higher in the future, so it pays off the halving difference...
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: October 21, 2016, 09:30:19 PM
I don't know why your wallet charge you with something. But my wallet never charged me anything from sending or receiving bitcoin. Also the tax maybe from transactions are because of Value-added Tax in which the government applies tax to all products/businesses/services. Well it depends on your country if they enact a law about VAT.

Yes it depends on the country.

Like here in our country, one of the local exchanger here is a registered company meaning they are paying taxes in the goverment. Literally bitcoin has no tax but the exchange rate in that said exchange really has a far range of price compare in some of the exchanges. So I can considered that as paying tax in just a different form. But well no worries since their service really benefited us here.

Because it's money, you have to declare it if you have a lot of Bitcoins....
And well, the exchanges charge a tax because it's a service, for example they charge 1% because they are doing a work for you and maybe the bank charge another tax for the transaction...

Bitcoin itself just have transfer fees(low af).
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: October 21, 2016, 09:10:30 PM
there are so many peopel who are sing the bitcoin right now and that is nice because allot of people needs to use the bitcoin to see the price rising
becuase the most are holding they also needs to spend you will see the price rise again.

Not many are using at a moment as the popularity of bitcoin is limited at a moment but in future we can expect that more people will start using it when people will get aware about it.
That is very true. But my friends and I are using it. We use it to pay each other back if we go out, or to give each other loans. I also use it for online payments for games and things like that.
Yeah there is a lot of people are using bitcoin and you are right that bitcoin is normally use for online shopping and other product and there is a lot of game are available which can be buy with bitcoin easily .

We all will like when we will can go out and pay a beer with Bitcoin.
Your group of friends is a good point, you all can moviment money between each other, well, actually you can play poker with chips and use Bitcoin as payment too, there's a lot of options to introduce the Bitcoin to anothers peoples, unfortunataly none of my friends use Bitcoin yet.

271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Moral dillema. Satoshi's coins. VOTE on: October 18, 2016, 09:35:03 PM
For me, Bitcoin is just a great example of blockchain power and use, actually 10 billions is nothing compared to economy.

Let the future say what will happen.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Series and films in which Bitcoin appears on: October 18, 2016, 09:22:01 PM
I started watching the second season of Mr. Robot today. Immediately in the first episodes, the Bitcoin sign occurred several times.

That is why I did come up with the idea to open this thread, in which Bitcoin mentions in popular series and films should be documented .

I start.

Mr. Robot # Series # Season 2 Episode 1 # 32:56
Mr. Robot # Series # Season 2 Episode 2 # 10:54

Mr. Robot is a great serie, amazing work from producers, everything in their own place!

And also they talk about altcoins, like EvilCoin, some guy started a ANN about this coin on alt announcements by the way  Grin
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: October 18, 2016, 09:18:04 PM
I really doubt this can happen, all the altcoins are compared against bitcoin value, if bitcoin dies several crypto will fail almost instant, sure some others may fight for the glory but in the end people will stop believing into crypto and start to left.

Yeap but Bitcoin have a lot of years, Ethereum is a new alt and have 1/10 of the marketcap compared to Bitcoin, I don't doubt a new good altcoin can take the primary price in the cryptos, we just need to wait.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is there a kind of Bank for bitcoins ?? on: October 18, 2016, 09:05:19 PM
i do not think so that still there is any kind of bank our any other bank yet consider bitcoin as legal currency. but hope that a time will come when banks will accept bitcoins.

Banks will never accept Bitcoin, every user is a bank.
And yes, Bitcoin is a legal currency in some countries, however banks don't want to deal with it because Bitcoin can break the banks.
275  Economy / Economics / Re: The $1 Million Dollar Bitcoin on: October 18, 2016, 08:48:00 PM
bitcoin has the potential to reach $1 million but not in the current state.

and not with the current design philosophy of the current dev team in the lead.

we will need a hardfork to get anywhere near that.

how on earth will a hardfork will change the price of bitcoin to that level, the current team is not doing anything great in my opinion, the price wont reach anywhere near $4k let alone a dream value.

So do you think the Bitcoin don't grow because of the team?
I don't think so, Bitcoin have a bad fame, a lot of scams and schemes, bad news(bad writing), and it don't bring more people, bitcoin just need more people, from both sides, costumers and products/services.
276  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: October 18, 2016, 08:41:41 PM
my dream in use bitcoin can inraese my income and supported income in my salary in job office
but is next iam expert about bitcoin my dream inrcaese get rich with bitcoin
But, you should not be so greedy due to the fact of you are having bitcoin ecosystem. Bitcoin will support you to become rich but not in an quick time nor not up to an imaginary levels. You must work hard to have enough number of bitcoins to fulfil your level of richness. If you imagine big then you must work harder to have enough number of bitcoins to go that big levels.
You are right. Usually people think bitcoin is an easy way of making money and becoming rich. But, practically bitcoin needs same hard work to have it similar to fiats, the good thing is fiats will not get value appreciation over time whereas bitcoin will do. So, saving bitcoin for long term is the key to achieve our dream of becoming rich.
But holding bitcoin for long term is only possible if you are having enough income for your holding period.

Because I do see many people are spending their bitcoin savings when they face any need of extra money. This is due to they are not having strong resolution for saving bitcoin for long periods. They are deviating from the plan of becoming rich as they are spending bitcoin time to time.

Actually you need a lot of Bitcoin to hold it, and it all depends from where you are, for example 100 BTC in a developed country don't have the same value that 100 BTC in a poor country, in one side you are poor and on the other side you are rich, that's it, you need to make plans too, where you want to live, how you want to live, family, and others things...
277  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: October 18, 2016, 08:38:10 PM
I was thinking about this, what if the US Dollar crashes like speculated by many renowned economists around the world?
What will be it's affects on the beloved currency, BTC?
If the Dollar crashes then there is nothing that people are going to do but it is going to effect the Bitcoin trading because most people trade in for the US Dollar

I'm afraid that most people are trading Bitcoin for the Chinese Yuan nowadays, and I also heavily suspect that the BTC-CNY trading volumes are orders of magnitude higher than those of the BTC-USD pair (in Bitcoin terms apparently). If you feel unsure about the reality of this, you may want to check for yourself at coinmarketcap.com. Just in case, the daily trading volume of the top 5 Chinese exchanges that trade only BTC-CNY and LTC-CNY pairs exceeds 4M bitcoins. Which makes up about one fourth of all bitcoins mined up to date. It should be evident by now that the US dollar is not the only pebble on this Bitcoin beach...

Not even speaking of how far is it from being the biggest one at that
China is progressing now so I am not surprise if the volume increases, and they have also the biggest mining businesses in the world so I guess it would be a competition for the china and the US now for the biggest volume of ownership of the total bitcoins in the market.

The Chinese Central bank has been constantly devaluing the Chinese Yuan during the last two years:

So it is no surprise that the wealthy part of the Chinese population are looking for alternatives. The US dollar might have been a good option after all, but I don't think that the general public in China has easy and unimpeded access to foreign reserves (at least, in the range of thousand dollars). In this way, Bitcoin seems to be the ultimate choice for the folks there

China will break the world with the cheap salaries, everyone importing from China and this is really bad for all countries and well, now they will put Trump on the USA, can you imagine the trouble?

For sure Bitcoin have their own space on the economy, not putting 100% of your money on Bitcoin but it's a good alternative to save some money and avoid the economy problems, price will grow year after year...

279  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: qual a próxima mineração na nuvem a quebrar????? alerta... on: October 18, 2016, 08:00:14 PM

280  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: October 18, 2016, 07:28:43 PM
the easy to earning, the simple to using also the traceable transaction.
mek me feel more comfortable than using other payment processor like paypal, payza etc.

Bitcoin is the best than paypal or other payments
I like bitcoin is fast transaction and very easy to use and no need time to transaction.
That's the simple reason why bitcoin is the most dominant payment processor online, although we are not that popular now but people are coming in because they have seen that they have good benefits in using bitcoin, the fact that you can also consider it as an investment, that is too attractive for business minded people also.

Easy to earning? People earn small amounts from faucets or other activity like this and think it's more easy than other rea job....

For sure the payment method is the best thing, don't need support and a third part.
