Ouch! Thousands of dollars every month? What in the world are you doing that's costing that much?

I read the updates in the granite coin forum.. I definitely wish you the best of luck after all that work! Granite price is a lot lower than I thought it would be....

the cost is the infrastructure and the equipment ...

i know that doesnt really tell you too much ... but just to give you a hint - we are now processing seednodes that are hardcoded within granite - all 25 FULL seednodes ... these are distributed worldwide in various datacenters globally ... this infrastructure is unique to us - and will be the foundation for the future building of the projects we take on ... this is not complete - but the latest update for granite - ozziecoin - and soon evergreencoin - have been ( and will be in egc case ) hardcoded ...

the granite project is growing strength by strength ... the price low - and i hope it stays that way for a little bit while i can mine and accumulate much much more ...

it is under the radar - as many dont know of ( or are just plain not interested ) in what we are doing ... most are more interested in pump coins with the complexities of eth and dcr and zec and lisk - just to name a few ...

the actual projects themselves are too complex in nature to be used by 'everyone' - which means the layman ...

we are looking at changing all that - and making the backbone of the projects as usable as possible ... and hopefully we will stay under the radar for a while longer ...

which is one of the reasons i have been so hard on the decisions with droidz - only to find that another project i was involved in to resurrect has suddenly had their deserter dev come back and open the thread - speaking of development and all that garbage ... checking the blockchain - ONE person has accrued over 2million of those coins - so this talk of redevelopment is the old ripoff devs way of pushing price up - then doing a massive dump - for the fourth time ...

i dont want that here in droidz - or any other coin that we take on ... which is why value needs to be assessed in order to make the right decisions ...

the chainworks industries projects are projects we will see through with - NOT disappear on ...

anyway - im back today working on the seednodes and vps systems for the coins we support also - whose devs actually need help to build their networks and have the backing of their respective communities ...

a full recompile on all daemons - and full resync on all current seednodes - to prepare for the new globally distributed seednodes we are preparing ...

again? ...

and so the crap doesnt stop ...

amazing ...

so who has been compiling the MASSIVE amount cypher over the last year? ...

just curious as to when the 'development' will happen - and when that dump of over 2million cypher will happen also ... all this in the hands of ONE person ...

yup - we can read the blockchain too you know ...

good luck getting anything outta this - when the pump and dump happens ...

we have moved on to much much MUCH larger projects - that have DECENT and RELIABLE devs ...

ill still watch what happens here ...

Why do we need this coin? what is the use of it? why 30 pages with 5 or 6 people posting over and over and over again?
How can we benefit from this coin? or is it just like tillkolen's endless coins?

ask these questions to the thousands of other coins that exist out there - and ask the really BIG networks that exist out there also - like eth dcr and now zec ...

complex systems that abuse the fact they do really not much more than provide a complex way of doing simple tasks - only to be hacked to death because of their complexity - then hardfork everytime there is a problem that they cannot fix ...

mate - really? ... you ask these questions here? ...

why dont you post these questions in EVERY thread with coins? ... i mean it ... see what responses you get AND whether you get labeled as a troll ...

i hope that doesnt happen ... but the bottom line is - be positive - or go ... simple ...

This coin still has problems as i see, shame i got my hopes..

its all fixable mate ...

you of all people would know that wildduck - you have been a long term investor also ...

but if there is no community backing - why the hell should anyone do anything? ...

remember some of the largest holders here are only interested in a dump when its picked up and worked on ... unlike greedyjohn and i - and a few others ...

i still havent found the passwords as yet - im going through all the skype conversations that soopy and i had - and there is a LOT ... and my time is being prioritized to the full rebuild of the cwi backend ...

its not small ...

but all this talk about another takeover - and even greedyjohn mentioning that even 'you' ( ie - anyone ) doing another take over - shows me that there is little backing for my team and i ... you are all looking at a takeover - and a dev - and solid infrastructure - and a holder of droidz that is one of the largest in the network ... yet you dont see the one person here that is right under your nose ... which is WHY i said i was out - and no one has even attempted to work something out ... so can you understand WHY i have little interest in backing this community - when the community shows NO backing for cwi? ... even greedyjohn ...

ho hum ... its just the way it works doesnt it ...

#crysx
Alright, I support cwi, but I must mention that the ABSENTEE behaviour of soopy and Nightz has ruined my potential to be as financially active as I want to be.

there is always room to make more mate ...

always ...

crysx.. There's no need for all of this.. really!  If you want backing, then show you are capable of doing something to change the current situation.

If I were to release a new update with an awesome feature, and start promoting it, I'm sure I'd have backing too... as ANYBODY would.

You want support.. just do it, and get it!  My quote was to show I had already given you support.  I have faith in ya!

understood ...

but there is a difference between asking to prove AGAIN - and asking to prove in the first place ...

so i still get asked to prove - over and over again - when it was soopy and i ( and to some extent greedyjohn in the background ) - that brought this project back to life ... if that isnt proof enough for backing by the community - then its too soft of a foundation to expend any more time and money and infrastructure on ...

cwi costs ME money every month - month on month ... thousands of dollars EVERY SINGLE MONTH ...
cwi costs theteam time and effort every month - month on month ... many many hours EVERY SINGLE MONTH ...

and you still say that i need to PROVE that we can bring this project back to life? ... you still say that PROOF is required after we brought this project back from the dead? ...

i say NO ... we will not extend the resources we have already extended for the project - when the community will not stand behind those that resurrected it ... and its not even that no one knows who it was - its just that the community doesnt CARE for who was behind it ... except the name soopy of course ... and look what he is doing now - as usual ...

enough proof has been given our part - and the money blood letting from my own pockets is enough to pay someone a full salary every month ... only to be told that we need to prove again ...

no tanx ... enough proof has been given - and if no can see that - then again i say - that is a soft foundation to build anything on ...

watch granite and all that will happen with granite - and you will see proof of what WE can do ... and NOT give you promises then disappear for months on end - like a dev that everyone seems to praise here so highly ...

btw - i DO appreciate the honesty ... especially coming from you mate ... you have an honest response back ...

266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 06, 2016, 06:56:41 AM
Are you still prioritizing nvidia support over windows support?

Yes, because supporting Nvidia is much less work than Windows. ETA maybe in a few days. Anyway, we are getting off-topic in this CCminer thread. SILENTARMY discussion should be held there.

if you want to work on such projects - then let me know ...

there is progression on things that even sp hasnt taken yet - or is too lazy to fix ( like the spreadminer-spmod9 ) ...

we have been working on a project or three in the background that spmod miner cant touch in hashrate or sourcecode - so there can be no copy and 'pretend' increases in hashrate by upping intensities in the code ... and i will be willing to take on another dev that is worth their weight if there is an agreement for privacy ...

thefarm is a lot bigger in plan than intended and will take a little more time to finalize - so a percentage of a large mining system is more than just being paid btc on any development process ...

i need someone that can help build the tools for this goliath that im constructing ...

let me know if interested ...

if i still dont get the required suitor for this side of the project - ill crowdfund it ... as its never been done before - but the numbers absolutely murder anything thats been before ...

It's not difficult to fix the makefile. It should be a good exercise for you.

i have little time as is building the entire infrastructure for cwi - and doing full time contracts sp ...

and paying for a broken miner? ... and i have to fix it? ... really mate? ...

it would be a blink of an eye for you - considering you are making so much money now with your farm that it wouldnt take you away for too long ... Smiley ...

come on sp - do your investors a favor ... especially one that helped and paid a great deal in days not too long ago ...

besides - i do enough exercise as is ... 5 days a week ...

I read many pages and I see that sp just uses people. He uses open source mining softwares for selling. After he sold them he didn't give update releases. Because of this he didn't give answer to nikolaj's questions. He used here just for his ego and for his show. If you have great expectations from him read back pages.

All my private kernels have updates with speed improvements. In spreadcoin I have 10 releases. It took 1.5 year from release 9 to release 9+. (Pascal) LBRY sp-mod have 3 updates. Release #4 is delayed becuse somebody is selling my work to people like rednow.

I paid for SP9 and never received 9+, as I paid for SPmod LBRY and never received the SP4 that you've referred a lot of times for "your farm". It's pretty clear that you're abusing of donators, promoting versions of your kernels that you never release.

I'm totally disappointed, this is too much. The delay it seems more and excuse than anything else, you cannot blame someone and damage the ones that gave you money, in return of a product. These products, frankly speaking, were pretty underwhelming. 1.8.3 from tpruvot it's ass fast as SP3, but without a 3.3% fee (plus another % lost due bugs in your code and constant reconnections. I've even shown you them, and hadn' t any response in matter).

Blame yourself, not others.

You recieved 9+(cuda 8.0 build) spreadminer 9 is from july 2015.
Release #3 of libry was the fastest when  I released it 3rd of september. 1.8.3 came 3 weeks larer and is slower on all models except the 1070.

@SP - I am a spreadcoin donator - can you please forward me the spreadminer9+ with compile for cuda 8?  I can only reach 6500 mh/s with the latest one you sent me.

i second that ...

and the spreadminer-spmod9 doesnt even compile sp ...

the Makefile.am you asked me to adjust a while back has been skewed since version 7 - it just does not compile ... so spreadminer-spmod7 has been the only one that has been in use on thefarm when it mines ...

if you have fixed the Makefile.am with the correct parameters - i would like a replacement copy as well please ...

Hi
i lost all my coins  (over 1M in total) in the online wallet, is there still a way to redeem them with my login details?

im really sad to hear that mate ...

which online wallet? ... we dont promote nor market ANY online wallets currently ...

chainworks industries havent finished the builds of our systems - so we cannot endorse anything we know nothing about ...

unless the owners of that wallet system is willing to give you the funds back - then they are lost ...

if you supply ALL the details - i can do some research and see if there is any recourse to getting any of it back ...

short of that - we can nothing else ...

mine more - they are easy to mine currently and are worth nothing much ... so buying and mining are the only other options ...

if there is no proof of investment and loss - then we cant do much on our side here ...

unfortunately ANYONE can come here and make a statement like this - unless you have the proof to back it ... i cant chase it otherwise ...

Hi dennishh, I am Leo, the original creator of ozziecoin. I spoke to crysx yesterday about your question. As you know I have handed over the project to him. I guess you are talking about the faucet system where you could register, win ozziecoins and keep them online. If this is the one you are talking about we have good news for you. You didn't lose anything. I have all the system backed up and I will work with crysx to put it back online and them you will be able to get your coins back or keep controlling them online if you want.

tanx for the response leo ...

im organizing the system that will be hosting the faucet and website and databases this week ...

leo has made a backup of the original database and code he wrote - and kindly passed it on to get it running again on the cwi servers ...

with his help - we should have this back up and running as soon as it is humanly possible ... especially as its sitting on servers that have a different os to the original servers - so we expect that there 'may' be teething issues initially - until we iron them all out of course ...

ShakePay Launches Dash Debit Card: Q&A w/ Founder Jean Amiouny

https://youtu.be/y3eco7GkrpU

Yah, that's 3 levels of middle men.  Shakepay, Their exchange to BTC, then something like Coinbase to bank.  Why should we accept this?  That's probably 3% minimum you have to pay to accept Dash!  Where is the savings.  Savings enough to even bother with all this shit?  We need to bring this down to one exchange that will take Dash, turn it into Fiat and deposit it into your bank.  Get rid of all the middle men.  And we need to do it ASAP or we will not survive.

We need to provide a nice carrot to entice a group ripe for need, and I say it's the small merchant, the ones that set up shop at conventions, flea markets and etsy that we should be going after first (hell, that's EXACTLY the people Paypal started out with, and have now been raping!)  All these middle men aren't needed.  What we need is a Dash to fiat exchange that accepts IX, can convert to fiat immediately and send it off automatically to their bank account.  One step, not 3/4 steps.  And make it so they can CHOOSE which exchange they want to use.

I'm not saying don't allow other companies come up with services, but I am saying we have to be competitive against all other coins, or we will lose our lead.  And we do need to stop playing favorites in my opinion.  We are creating monopolies which will bite us in the ass in the future, and kill the whole reason why cryptos exist in the first place.  I can see these 3rd party solutions being useful for big industry some day, but the little guy, the lowest merchant is the one who is going to make or break crypto, I promise you.

'I say it's the small merchant, the ones that set up shop at conventions, flea markets and etsy that we should be going after first . . . '

Wow! Us IndiaMikeZulu guys have been arguing this case since we undertook to introduce cryptos 'cold' to an entire town late 2013/early 2014.

We have a bucket load of ideas for such an initiative, but essentially, it involves moving away from the screen.

[Got news about bullion purchases with cryptos in Australia shortly.]

The only person I ever convinced to use crypto who did more than just buying some to hold as an investment was a market stall owner. I initially tried to pay him with a debit card and he told me he didn't take cards, so I told him he should take Bitcoin as all he needed was to download an app to his phone and he said he'd been thinking of buying some bitcoin anyway to pay for torrents so he took my advice and started accepting bitcoin payments.

I sure to take your point, cryptorials! Don't wanna think how much time/money we've spent on 'community devving' on cryptos. But . . . we're committed to libertarian adoption, and have traded cryptos for bullion, petrol, eggs, vegies, fruit, computer parts, printing services, and groceries.

If nothing else, it's given us fabulous experience in how to go about all this when mass adoption does get traction.

Would like all Australians here to PM me (regardless of what cryptos you trade) so we can build a P2P network (which actually exists with some other cryptos).

ozzie here mate - gold coast queensland currently ...

publicly - not pm - summoning the request for more info ...

So what is it that would need to be done to get you to start developing this coin? All i know this far is every attempt to resurrect this coin has ended in disaster for one reason or another. Im sure almost everyone would be happy for you to continue developing droidz.

Im not sure even if the best coder can actually currently do anything with this coin but you would know better than me.

no - i dont know any 'better' than you ...

if soopy stuck around on a REGULAR basis and kept developing and FOCUSED ( one his major weakpoints ) on the projects he assigns himself to - then it would be ok ... he is a good dev ...

BUT - as it stand - he doesnt and has let me down on our own projects many times over with granite ( grn ) ... so there is another dev - who is reliable - that is part of theteam now ...

the only catch is this ... soopy is still a part of this project - and unless he wants to remove himself from it - i will not lock him out of the thread or git or anything else without his knowledge AND request ... honor is crucial here - and i will not do that to soopy or any other person that i ( or cwi ) deal with ... its wrong to do so ...

what CAN be done is simple ...

if the consensus is that cwi take the project under its wing - then it will require a number of things to happen ... obviously this requires full authority over ALL components of the droidz system ... full control ... so that no other dev or community can interfere with it ...

IF theteam agree to take on another project on top of the ones we are currently working on - it will require a much work ond setup in the backend FIRST - before anything major is done on the wallet / daemon - just to support the current wallet and community ...

then a decision will be made whether it is a viable consideration to continue working on drz - or assimilate it into our flagship project ( granite ) ...

NONE of this can happen without community support ... simple ...

in the past pages - all i see is soopy soopy soopy ... soopy pops in for a minute - and you all lose your friggin minds ... he is here for ONE MINUTE - and then disappears for weeks and months ...

under cwi - this cannot and will not happen ... we cannot have ANYONE - let alone a core dev - disappear like that at the drop of hat ... no way ... not going to happen - not on my watch ...

so all in all - IF there is a community consensus -t hen we can have the consideration of taking the project under the wing of cwi ... only IF theteam agree that we should ... decisions will be based on the value - the use - the viability of doing such a thing ...

i can say this much though - the likely hood of furthering the coin is slim ... if anything is to be done - it will more than likely become assimilated into granite and the cwi network - which means that drz will be swapped and burned for granite ( grn ) ...

depending on what theteam decide will be the more beneficial approach - and whether the resources and time can be allocated ...

You can reach and login to Yobit site through their backup domain https://yobit.io/en/

tanx ...

ill try now ...

but what has actually happened? ... any one know? ...

I think the issues with the site were because DDoS attacks. Same that happened to BitcoinTalk Forum on the last days,
but now Yobit is working fine again.

ok ... tanx ...

guessing what has happened is pretty low key - when the owners of yobit could have easily come out and explained to the world what happened through their social media channels ...

i like the exchange - but the support is below par unfortunately ...

i honestly believe it would be a top ranking exchange if it had superb backup support ...

anyway - im glad its up - trading on there now ...
