Money laundering is taking money from illegal sources such as drug money and trying to make it look legit. This is not what this is. The btc was obtained legally by all of us through donations on a website. Everybody knows this since ICOs hit the scene.
The funds were liquitaded before the pump. Probably should have held on but imagine if bitcoin dropped. People would then complain they should have liquidated. lol Hindsight is 20/20.
Anyway, the project is still ongoing minus DPC. It was explained in slack. In fact, I'm glad they are gone. People need to relax and help the new developers. That's my 2 cents.

Hi sotisoti, there isn't a btc address because the ICO funds were liquidated to fiat last year. You will however be able to look at the quarterly expense reports to see how much of the funds were used so far. Hi Seektree, all the info available to me has already been released through the post of Scifi.rem (Rise co-founder) earlier this week, see below. Since then there hasn't been anything new to announce yet. The team is busy finding a new developer to replace Justin/Richard/Nathan (Don't Panic Consulting). This has the highest priority. Only after we have a new developer/dev team saddled up a new roadmap can be devised. As soon as more info comes available it will be posted here. Thanks. Development Update:We have a fairly big announcement. We are in the process of restoring investor confidence and part of that process is to reward our current Rise token holders, as well as getting delegates forging as soon as possible. Even though we are currently on this path, it’s only fair to mention that we had hit a bumpy road. Previously, we have been pulling teeth, trying to get updates from our development team. It had gotten to a point where we were instructed to formulate emails as the “method” to reach them. Days had turned into weeks and even after many promises of daily updates, we still didn’t see progress. Many of you guys had stressed your concern as well. We were then told by Justin that his development team needed more funds to continue the project. After close examination, and to prevent our funds from becoming more depleted with little to show for it, we discontinued funds to Don’t Panic (Justin’s business). As a result, Don’t Panic including our co-founder Justin walked away from the project. However, we have acted quickly and are working with another developer right now. We will let everyone know who this is in an upcoming announcement. All Rise 2.0 work so far has been transferred to our new developer. Before we move further on that, we have decided that we will push out Rise Classic by cloning Lisk to get delegates forging and earning rewards ASAP. We had relied on Justin’s promises that Rise 2.0 code base was going to be “easy enough” for him and we counted on his insight, such as promising a working prototype by December. I redownloaded new client and deleted Txlvdb and database folders in roaming its resyncing but slowly.I think coderz is working on it anyways I gotta go to bed im getting sleepy hope its all ok.

something weird is going on. I go to latest patch 0 8 5 3from page 1 of this thread. I download latest QT. I extract, open it and it says Espers QT.exe but it's the old file and old wallet opens. Like haywire versus the way it's been easy to get new updates in the past. So I kept opening up the file that is showing after extract / open 0.8.5.3 and it's the 0.5.8 no wonder it was on old fork or whatever.
Still can't figure out what's going on with the files. I now have Espers QT.exe Espers QT-8 and now it's like a rats nest!
Why would I download lastest, extract and open and it's the old one? Why is it in such disarray in my file system? What am I doing wrong? Ive experienced these with a few wallets and it's confusing. Didn't used to be like this with ESP
What's the new file I should be looking out for? I tried opening and said not configured with Windows, so go to extract, open, had to change properties, but the file that emerged when I extracted is the old wallet version when I go to open like I do with all wallets. It should be a new file or version! Help!
