I did not understand, how the price of Starta may increase. Buyback - not a good engine for this. Need something else.
Buyback is useless for the price, unless the team buyback 80% of the tokens. I have a good idea, they can airdrop to starta holder after we swap onto ETH network. Cindicator is eth token so they can airdrop to us instead they sell cindicator for money and then buy back. Do you expect these guys would do an 80% buyback or an airdrop for all sta holders? I don't think this dream is ever going to come true.Better to do day trading and make some profit rather waiting for the price to increase with those buybacks. The price would not increase when people does not trust the current trading sites they listed this token. Also, the volume is close to non existence so I think the team should work on this first, we need those traders to raise the volume and that would happen if the team will effort to list in new exchanges. This is not about whether someone has trust to this project or not, it's just that holding Starta token is unprofitable. |

How to understand is ICO scam or not? What criteria I have to look at? Thanks!
There can be lots of criteria. I can just remind some of them. 1- Look their domain registration, expration date from whois.net . Generally scammers just create a domain for 1 year in 1 month (You will need more proof with this.It can't prove directly, it is scam or not. It can just give additional info) 2- Look at their team. Are their team anonymous? Do they have real contact info and names? 3- Search them on google. (Maybe you can find beneficial info such as a person warns about that ICO or sth) 4- Look at their whitepaper. Do they have one or do they just copy another whitepaper or is their whitepaper look like messy? 5- What is their purpose and what did they achieve for this goal? You can think more like these. I can't directly say if a ICO has any of this term, it s scam but at least it can make me think twice. This is a very good list of basic steps to be taken before investing in ICO. In my opinion, if we have doubts about one of these points, we should not invest. |

It is true, there are so many messages with strange/scam proposals that I am more convinced that these are not ideas of individual people but it is already a company! I just delete them, but they become more and more annoying. I think I will just have to unsubscribe from few groups.

The only way that comes to my mind is to take part in a few airdrops. You can look for them in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0 (look for threads with "AIRDROP" in topic) Sometimes you can get even $5 for free, and with time many tokens gains in value. |

You don't see the previous volume, today's volume is OK for 100k usd, but weeks ago, once I saw the volume was only 1k usd. And most time the volume is pretty tiny. just to be exact, the volume now is $122,684 USD. and i think is is the first time i see a huge volume for starta since the ico was over. and wavespump is correct, the usual volume of this token is very low compared to this time.Nbi It's true that volume is high now, but a lot of transactions look like fake - something like robot is buying and selling from himself ... Do only I have such an impression? |

They have their own exchange ( https://wavesplatform.com/) but to be honest most of their tokens are junk so I don't think it'll be picked up by the mainstream exchanges anytime soon. Anyway, Just stay tune on their telegram channels and other SNS for announcements. The whole question is why they promised to give out tokens of startups. After all, many people hoped for this. And everything was limited to a simple buyback
Not all startups run their own ICOs, so a buy-back system looks like a better choice in this case. There are platforms as KICKICO, KICKSTARTER etc ... Why in this case do we need STARTA? Now many people can start their ICO themselves. You completely misunderstood the topic. Starta Accelerator does not help in creating or running ICO. It is accelerator for startups from East Europe - they help them to get in to market in the USA. |

It does not have to be a large exchange, it could be even small - Tidex, HitBtc, and what about BitBay - as your business partner it should be no problem to get listed there?!

It is difficult to find informations about upcoming ICO's. My method is simple - when i have time just open Announcement thread or Bounty thread and i'm looking for thread with little number of posts and views - in this way i'm finding new ICO's. |

STA is security type token, it won't be listing on bittrex, maybe you can try gate.io.
Do you know if we can get dividend by holding STA? If the answer is yes, how will it be paid? They don't pay dividend unfortunately. They buyback STA tokens from the market with the profit they got from their portfolio. For me personally, the system of buying back tokens from market seems much better than dividends. We are sure that the price will grow, we just need to wait. |
