261  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Can Be Bought With Bitcoin? on: December 20, 2020, 01:09:17 PM
Are there people out there selling their goods and services that I can pay with bitcoin? I need some real places where I can pay with BTC without first converting to fiat.

If you can still afford to pay with the money in your pocket, why not.
if you are spending bitcoins only to pay for something you can pay for with other alternatives. save your bitcoins for the long term.
262  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought BTC at 23.5K$ on: December 19, 2020, 01:42:09 PM

Well depends on what is your intention in buying BTC.  If you are a long time holder, let us say for decade, I think it is a wise decision but if you just bought BTC because of the hype and its current surge and expect that you will gain a huge amount of profit in a short time, I think you are mistaken.  Nevertheless, just hodl your BTC and be patient.

In fact, he was trapped by the hype, as seen from the statement he said.

By seeing the increasing in price rapidly I invested in bitcoin.

indeed this has a risk, unless he is someone who does not need additional costs for the next few years.
there is still a possibility if he feels confident, but optimism and faith alone are not enough in trading. as a trader, this action is still not justified.
263  Economy / Economics / Re: People who know economy talk about usa dollar on: December 19, 2020, 01:19:41 PM

And, I think that both dollar and bitcoin can be a part of our world. They will corporate and boost our economy even further. The replacement does not always bring advantages.

It is true, both bitcoin and dollar are very much the benchmark price for us today, especially in the country where I live, that the price of bitcoin will be seen in dollar value, before being converted into the country's currency. So here we can see that the dollar needs to be preserved in order to maintain the value and authenticity of bitcoin.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: The Way how things are going and fiat and crypto on: December 19, 2020, 01:07:49 PM
Fiat money is sure to remain, to balance the price of anything, be it goods or services. In this case, although the economic sector started to grow with the advent of digital currency, basically not everyone is taking advantage of it. There are still many out there who rely on traditional currencies to carry out various transactions in everyday life.

It is true, there is no need to eliminate fiat money, simply innovate from fiat currencies, such as crypto without eliminating the authenticity of fiat currencies.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin This year & Next year. on: December 19, 2020, 12:48:30 PM

My question....!
1. Could it be that after this Bitcoin fell even lower, as was the case in 2017 and 2018 ago.
Rose to the highest price at the end of 2017 and fell back to the low of 2018.
2. Or is it possible that Bitcoin will stay at the lowest $20k level and will continue to $.....!

What do you think after this incident bitcoin passed through ATH.....! Go up to the next or vice versa.
Speaking is not based on predictions, only seeing from existing experiences.

of course bitcoin has almost the same pattern, which will decline again. considering that the supply is decreasing every year and its value will increase again in the next ATH exceeding the current ATH. however, for the beginning of the year bitcoin may decline for a while. the same thing happened in 2018, for the sake of generating another big adoption
Regardless, we can only speculate from experience. Whether it's true or not, we certainly have a hard time predicting bitcoin.
266  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Survey for master's Degree on: December 18, 2020, 03:19:22 PM
Remarkably, this time there is a thesis title to get a master's degree must analyze bitcoin. does your thesis have a hypothesis? of course this thesis procedure will be very difficult. does your reference only use surveys? some kind of questionnaire?
because after I opened your survey, and stopped at the Gmail entry point. I don't know why I don't like including Gmail in surveys.

can you enter the survey in the thread?
267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think every trader should do to stay in the green on: December 18, 2020, 03:05:34 PM
it is impossible to stay on the green signal all the time, because it will be difficult to establish such a position. and I feel like it's not trading. In the world of trading, the value of red and green signals or better known as the ups and downs of prices is a natural thing, in general there will always be in terms of trading.
As for the strategy of holding on to the green signals, this is the way market analysts do, even they cannot fully guarantee it.
The point is that the red signal is very important to buy cheaply, if it continues to hold on to the green signal, of course you have to trade for a short time and always watch your commuter screen, watching the price movement without blinking.
268  Other / Archival / Re: ... on: December 18, 2020, 02:50:47 PM
What's the point of bumping into traditional currencies with bitcoin?
I think the two complement each other. would not be the value of bitcoin if the origin of traditional money did not exist. Isn't bitcoin an innovation from digital development that refers to traditional money?
remember the two cannot be separated from each other.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin advertising by celebrities. on: December 18, 2020, 02:27:34 PM
I suppose it is more propaganda for Cashapp more than for Bitcoin.
I do not know that actress, but this promotion will be bad because it means that more people who do not know about Bitcoin will enter anything at an absolutely inconvenient time to enter it, and it may lead to many people losing their money.

The best is to have people explain to people what Bitcoin is while knowing all the risks and leaving the choice for users to invest.

The tweet is of course intended to promote Cashapp so that more members can enter there. there is no harm even though I don't know who the artist is. but it is used as an event, where clearly fans will follow what the artist says. On the other hand, this certainly has a big impact on adoption again, but on the other hand, of course, bitcoin is owned by those who don't understand bitcoin as a whole, because all they know is to follow the instructions of the idol.
well like the propaganda in the era of bitcoin ATH, will get the attention of many top artists.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Don't wait for the market, start selling in parts! on: December 17, 2020, 06:08:36 PM

So, if you are a holder you will most probably be thinking about waiting more until it gets to XYG price. This is not a good move in such volatile, ATH-hitting market. So, I think selling in parts can be the best strategy at the moment. You will minimize risks while getting good prices in parts. What do you think?

It is this kind of thing that is currently being experienced, a kind of dilemma between holding and letting go.
it is true that we must be deft in making decisions. We've already benefited from sales, but it's still human and not easy to control. more precisely, always feeling never satisfied with the present.

we experience this all the time. I also sold part for $ 21,000, then I held off the rest. Smiley
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you take loan(s) to invest in crypto? on: December 17, 2020, 05:45:16 PM

What do you think of taking loan(s) to invest in crypto? What's your input? Have any of you done this already? Isn't this crazy?

I personally don't think this is recommended, if only for investing in crypto. This will clearly imply that crypto has a long-term process of getting its results. while parties will require monthly payments along with any additional interest charged.

unless someone has assets outside of crypto, for example, a company that is collateralized. but still, it won't be convenient if you have to borrow money from a bank to invest in crypto. sounds really bad.
272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may face a price correction before reaching to $25K on: December 17, 2020, 05:33:43 PM

Possible that bitcoin will face a price correction above $17K before reaching to $25K, this price correction is necessary to avoid massive selling to protect bitcoin to hit all time low just like whichever seen before as massive selling brings more selling pressure so trade with caution.

indeed the correction will definitely occur. considering the current trading volume is quite large and unpredictable. although not far from the $ 17,500 range and above. because the ATH is new and hasn't passed a full day. need to be aware of and still have to pay attention to price movements .. because it is very risky. much less buying for $ 20,000 and up.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finally reached $20k on: December 16, 2020, 06:10:55 PM
Bitcoin hits $20,000

It did happen. Congratulations to everyone!

Well, let the rally continue. ...

Let's leave this for history Smiley

the wait is quite tiring paid off very satisfactorily. welcome to the investors who are starting to set foot again, after so long in hiding. and congratulations for those of you who have already pocketed the benefits, don't forget to be grateful.
Not only that, this is how Bitcoin's rebirth ended the year in a very exotic way. give an unforgettable impression.
thank you 2020, welcome 2021 .. bitcoin to the moon Smiley
274  Economy / Economics / Re: IF USDT would collapse what do you think will happen to the BTC price? on: December 13, 2020, 10:40:12 PM
not only panic, it will undoubtedly destroy the value of other cryptos. and bitcoin will be increasingly in demand in the market. it's hard for a large company like USDT to leave without a reason. must remain successful. The possibilities are always there, although I'm limited to guessing if the USDT collapses.
depending on the collapse, if it happens periodically, then obviously everyone is going to dump bitcoin immediately and wait for the low price.
in this case of course there will be a lot of speculation and different views.
275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you trade? on: December 13, 2020, 10:05:00 PM
Hi,

I'm trying to learn how to trade and I was wondering what people here tend to trade between? Do you just have a set list of trading pairs that you stick to? What are your most common trades?

Personally, I am still consistent in trading BTC / USDT, ETH / USDT, DOGE / USDT, and BTT / USDT. yes even though there are several new tokens I hold. but I didn't really pay attention, because it wasn't really a guarantee. because new tokens depend on HYPE and trading volume.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC next target 😉 on: December 13, 2020, 04:30:48 PM

are you bullish for it or its just a FOMO??

I'm pretty sure, if everything goes well, we can see alts rally by the 2nd Quarter of 2021, What do you think?

BTC is an imposter and nobody can be caught it, it's a so-called potato by NOOBS, Actually, BTC is real gold, Dimond, or platinum. 🤩🤑

Look this 👇🏻

Current BTC SUPPLY: 18.5 Million

Total supply: 21 Million BTC & 7.8 Billion worlds population,

mining reward halfling in every 4 years,

BIG institutions & payment gateway adopting #BTC (Mass adoption has begun) 😎💪🏻

Now you can imagine the Power of blockchain/Cryptocurrencies & where BTC will stand after a few years.

Show this msg to those who underestimate Bitcoin. 👍

I think so far for the 2nd quarter of 2021 is the start that will make bitcoin a major force. not only FOMO, but because many countries have started to open doors to welcome Bitcoin and accept it legally.
It is possible that those who underestimate Bitcoin, will soon start paying attention and become interested in owning Bitcoin.
nothing can stop bitcoin from standing above all else.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is my Bank on: December 13, 2020, 04:00:40 PM
unbelievable with your decision to tackle the covid 19 pandemic. Did you invite your family or neighbors to invest in bitcoin too?
if so you have helped others out of the current crisis because it is appropriate for you as a bitcoin user to advise those closest to you to get to know bitcoin and its benefits.

But the problem is if you have let go of conventional banks, does that sound too much? there is nothing wrong with saving money in a conventional bank account. because one day you will keep your funds there for the wholeness to come.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Yield Bank is going to be the next 100x crypto on: December 12, 2020, 02:21:43 PM
I've seen 1000 DeFi projects by now and it's rare to find something this innovative, so I thought I would share/ask for opinions here. Basically, they have created a two-token system with really powerful tokenomics behind it. This project is also a passive income generator, so getting in early is huge for this type of thing.

Indeed, there are countless DeFi projects to date. so many appear, but not very promising.
chances are YieldBank will prove it later after the event is over and distribution is done. there is nothing wrong if you embrace the project, who knows it will be profitable.
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Psychological comfort and reduction of stress from losses on: December 12, 2020, 02:07:33 PM
I won't warn you here again, because they have told you beforehand that you might be saving the thread wrong to promote the trading platform.

if I may respond to your statement, you get help with price predictions that make you profit, that's fine, but you also don't get used to depending on predictions from other people. although already in the world's best analyst category ..
You should at least learn independently in executing trades, reading price movements, to provide you with personal experience and knowledge.
280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe in bitcoin/altcoin market stock predictions? on: December 12, 2020, 01:56:51 PM

Question here

Do you believe in those predictions? Did the predictions for market price come true most of the time? did you use it for trading? or not?

Until now, I personally haven't been too focused on trading from some of the predictions that have been rumored. I felt that there was something that made me lack confidence in following other people's predictions, which I didn't really understand. So for that I tried to gather information from various predictions and sources then I drew my own conclusions and then saw how the movements in the market at that time and immediately executed them.
