That's very easy to say now. But how do you decide when's the perfect time to buy? It might go even higher than $23.000. If OP doesn't need the money and are willing to hold for a couple of years, I am sure he won't regret his descision. But he shouldn't make the mistake and panic when Bitcoin starts dropping and sell everything again. That's when you really lose your money. Best thing in that case would be to buy even more to bring your avarage price down.

Even though you bought Bitcoins at the all time high, I wouldn't say it's a bad investment. There are so many companies switching into crypto currencies right now that the demand is not going down likely in the near future. If you bought your coins with intension to hold them long term you are fine. I would not go for short term profits and rather go for the long term approach. Long term the bitcoin trend is upwards.

Did you get FOMO? Well, if you do then you do not have choice but to wait when bitcoin will going to do good in the future. If you can wait then there is no problem with how much you buy for your bitcoin.  Anyway, bitcoin is best for long term hold. So if you have bought that kind of price just kindly wait probably 3-5 years from now that market can get doubled so it is still a big profit in you with the market exponentially increasing over a period of time.

As for your decision that has done, I think there is a possibility for the bitcoin price to increase more than the new ATH $23.800.

The stimulus factor hasn't yet agreed upon by the US government, an increasing price a few time ago just an anticipation of some investors to buy bitcoin at low prices.

You may need a special attention to look at bitcoin instinctively, make an analyst every day to see what will happen because you need technical analysis as well when you have the intention to invest your money in bitcoin.

I think you have no plan before investing .Just watch the move and play through it .It has crossed the 23k$ level and still forcing to go up .If you hold it for long time it will give you a huge amount of profit for sure but it will be so tough to get profit within short time .Best of luck mate .

Dam you got some nerves to purchase at that high rate. I'm not sure where you was when the price was 7k USD or 14K USD for that matter. How could you awake when the price was 23.5k which ATH in the history for bitcoin.

I would be straight here, you gonna need to wait and have lot of patience before you could cash out your profits. There is no need to sell your BTC sooner since you are already at high risk and can account for unrecoverable loss.

But there will be sure up surge in the market. Only thing that matters now is your time and patience capacity. :-)

Personally, I think that investing in BTC right now is not the best choice, since the price was previously more profitable, however, if you have already made investments in BTC, then you now need to wait for further growth, and it will certainly be during 2021. thats quite party at the end of year  , 20k floor is real and i think btc price will dip 15-30% on february, 23.5 its quite high for now to enter the space

Same with my thoughts. You are putting your investment at a high risk. I guess you only bought it because of FOMO and there's no wrong with it as long as you know how to handle the pressure. If you bought it for long term holding, then you can still make profits but at indefinite time. Just be more patient and always set target selling price and even stop loss.
