Hey Bytecode Team. It's Saturday, soon to be Sunday in Thailand. Any news on the hard fork? Should miners stop mining?

Actually within 1 minute must found only 1 block. Can't see it, in what height multi block was found? Yep, I have got it. btw can you tell where is a correct info, explorer is showing hashpower only 85KH right now and baspool have almost 1MH of hashes. What is true? I don't know what you're seeing. The explorer and baspool both have correct block heights and hash rates. I didn't made a screenshot but in time when I posted it hashrate on baspool was about 950kH and BAS explorer didn't showed the same, don't know what it connected with , maybe explorer can't get in time for real hash speed, but it was a fact. It takes sometime before the hashrate on any given pool is reflected on the block explorer in terms of hashrate and difficulty. That hashrate probably didn't last long enough to cause the nethash to be that high on the block explorer.

Seems we need to Hard Fork to fix "Transaction size is too big". It'll happen on this saturday or sunday.
Have you decided on a block height to do the fork yet? Also do you have bug bounties? If so can I have one for finding this bug?

This has been made in collaboration with the bytecoin team, wasn't bytecoin proven to be a scam?
Also, the wallet doesn't seem to work for Ubuntu.
Bytecode, not Bytecoin. And yes, Bytecoin was a scam. It's unfortunate that this dev team has a similar name to a scam project. I'd rebrand and change my name from Bytecode Team to BASCode Team or something if I were them. In other words, something that actually has to do with BitASEAN and not that scamcoin Bytecoin. It would help the project and its branding in a positive way.

Has the Bytecode Team considered reaching out to IOHK or the Digital Currency Group? They are a companies that help new cryptocurrencies in things like technical support, promotion, getting listed on exchanges, getting press in the main cryptocurrency websites, etc. IOHK: https://iohk.io/about/Digital Currency Group: http://dcg.co/

you will not lose coins. blockchain still the same. Seems we need to Hard Fork to fix "Transaction size is too big". It'll happen on this saturday or sunday.
What will happen to the coins? How not ot lose it? BAS is young so i hope fork will not make peoples turn away from it Hardfork is a usual thing in fact, a lot of coins are coming through it. Think it's an indicator that a developers team taking care about their project and basically a good sign
Correct. Just look at how many times Monero and Ethereum has hardforked. These are protocol upgrades and the market should reward them as BitASEAN becomes more usable as a result.

What will happen to the coins? How not ot lose it? Do you know what Block Number the hard fork will occur in? As soon as you do you will need to publish that information here and with the exchange(s) so people can prepare well in advance ie: miners stop mining, exchange switch chains, etc. Also will the hard fork require us to download a new wallet? If so a guide for people on how to backup and restore their old wallet file to the new wallet might be appropriate.

Don't worry, it's working now. I'm trying to test something. Some trouble with BAS chain, or this http://128.199.118.37 block explorer? Why difficulty get down to 300k and hash rate 4.89 ? UPD And emission 1.78% ! Was it rollback? Good question. It appears the block explorer is on some type of fork or testnet but if you click Pools you see the correct information for the mainet. Bytecode Dev Team, what's going on? Thanks for the speedy response! That's a good habit to have.

Also if you click on Blocks nothing appears and no blocks are updating even though blocks are being found on baspool and solo so it looks like the Dev was doing some tests on a testnet but didn't put the block explorer back correctly on the mainet. Bytecode Dev Team, what's going on?

what about nova exchange, add this coin there!!!
Might want to read the whole thread first: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1946768.msg19496382#msg19496382Hi everyone
I have contacted coin exchange (e.g. cryptopia.co.nz, hitbtc.com, bter.com and others) and waiting for response, I will let you know if there is any further update.
Thank you
Good news, will wait Excellent Nova Exchange would be good also. Nova doesn't support cryptonight coins.

I saw those pictures with hundreds of thousands of BAS coins. Can I ask the Devs how can I earn such big amounts? Do you have any faucets or any bounties that I can join too? I only have 30 BAS due to twitter comment, sad to say.
Those coins were mined.

Pool fixed. Please check your balance again.
Thanks. Is the problem fixed or will it happen again?

Also to the Bytecode team, can you do something about the 500 BAS mass transaction limit? Some of us need to send way more than that and it seems very limiting. I mine on a pool (BASPool) and the operator has had an issue with "Transaction too big" errors on some payouts. Additionally transactions between 500-1000 BAS just disappear, don't even appear in the wallet. With such a low satoshi coin, larger transactions need to be reliable before it goes to any exchange.
Sometimes, transactions around 500-1000 can not be made until you try it a lot of times. Mixin set at 1 or even at 0. I would like to increase the max payment amount of the pool, but if we dont fix this I will not be able to. Hope the dev can work with you on this. Looks like someone else with a lot of hashpower is on your pool now. I guess they'll find out the same thing I did about the failed 500-1000 BAS transactions.

Hi, everyone. We have issues with funding. Cryptopia want to charge approximately 3 btc for list BitAsean. If we have enough funds, we will let you know if there is any further update.
Have you considered a crowdfund from early adopters/investors to raise the 3BTC if you don't have it? Without a better exchange this project is a great idea going nowhere. If you need help there are people willing to help but you need to let them know you need it.

I would like to know when would be a good exchange)
Same, I would like to know if this coin is making some progress. Agreed. This should be the week that the dev follows up on the exchanges they applied for and submits applications for Cryptopia.

The price is increasing steadily, but it's too slow please establish some reputable exchange to pump this coin
Agreed. This coin has much potential but it needs a larger more respected exchange to give it life.
