261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM WILL WORTH $10000 on: May 28, 2018, 07:49:09 PM
I can only imagine what price bitcoin will reach should ethereum go as high as $10000, if ever this happens then maybe we need to wait for

not less than 10 years for this to happen or more pumps and less dumps can speed this all time high.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto VS national currency on: May 27, 2018, 06:46:00 PM
I found this expression on the news channel about the crypto currency: "Anyone who will try  to buy coffee for cash in 2023, runs the risk of causing laughter from the seller, that he does not use crypto currency."

It might be a joke today but come 2023 that coffee you crave for will be bought with yourr favourite cryptocurrency and the joke will be on those that did not believe this will be possible.

Quote
how do you think, is it realistic? Can a crypto currency replace national  money?
I think that it's possible, but it will take more time.
Some countries are already pushing for a state backed crypto and one example of such a country is Estonia....I guess what was a speculation few years back is turning into reality but am not sure if fiat will be replaced.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most cryptocurrencies will crash to zero on: May 27, 2018, 04:58:48 PM
As quoted from CNBC there is a cryptocurrency will be zero.

What do you think ?

From :

https://www. cnbc. com/2018/02/07/most-cryptocurrencies-will-crash-to-zero-goldman-sachs-says.html
Maybe the guys are right to say some cryptocurrencies will be valued at zero only because they have nothing to offer which also likely the reason why bitcoin price has slowed down because money is moving out of the bitcoin purse and into these worthless coins purse which one day will be zero. As potential investors lets take it up on ourselves not to invest in any random projects to avoid falling in the trap of investing in shitcoins!

Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!?
Not just yet, we are far from its death bed!

Bitcoin has a long way to go and the journey just got started, and as I know price drops are normal for any functional market which includes cryptos like bitcoin. My advice if you want to survive in this crypto ecosystem do not panic sell because of what people...sometimes these are ways of manipulating prices to get cheap coins.

266  Economy / Gambling / Re: SPORTS BOOK RANKINGS ~ COMPLETELY USER GENERATED on: May 24, 2018, 11:35:17 AM
Thanks for the great job you doing @FrueGreads

Getting back to the topic i will be ranking my sports books based on the bonus system, time it takes to grade games, response to scam accusations and how good support responds to all arising problems(tickets) on their platforms.

And just a fact before I dive into my rankings most bookies on the ranking system all have some sort of scam accusation on some forum somewhere, dont believe me google search your favorite bookie.

So far i have used NitrogenSports.eu, Sportsbet.io, Cloudbet   ,betballer, 1xbit

NitrogenSports.eu [4]
Been one of the few oldest crypto sportsbooks to date, I think they deserve to hold top spot because of ease of account registration, some good competitions that give us a shot at winning some free coins and in cases of scam accusations I have seen that they have staff on standby to look into such matters. The only thing I would like to see from NS addition of various sports games which includes more inplay game types.

Cloudbet[3]
also among the oldest sports book in the crypto business and what i like about them is their simple to use  interface , good variety of inplay and post matches, would like to see these guys support other coins besides bitcoin and seems their grading and payout times have improved but besides having a welcome bonus its a rip off, its tied with too many conditions!

1xbit[3]
This company seems to be expanding at a fast pace, been seeing their ads in soccer matches and the alike which is good for the crypto adoption process but what I don't understand is why they are not whitelisting their name...might be a bitter pill to swallow but they need this to be among the top sports books and besides the have a quick grading system, support is usually on standby, market price is equally good and not forgetting their payouts(withdraws) are equally processed within a short time .

Sportsbet.io [3]
The pool of games does not impress me much and the last time I checked there T&Cs they have KYC which is over kill considering we were  made to believe cryptocurrencies are all about anonymity and knowing funds could be locked anytime makes me to be cautious when using their services. Besides all this still a good sportsbook.

Betballer[0]
null- website seems out of reach

269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best advice for anyone investing in cryptocurrency? on: May 23, 2018, 08:38:46 AM
10 quick points I can think of:

1. Understand the entire market, existing projects etc
2. Don't follow hype, always trust your judgement on a project rather than some one elses
3. Always research the team, roadmap and claims being made
4. Don't get greedy, lots of decent increases are much more achievable than high optimism for 10x on 1 coin
5. Understand support levels, buying at a low gives you a lot more safety than buying mid pump
6. Learn some basic TA, if a coin appears over bought it usually is, if a coin is holding stable and under bought it's a safer bet
7. Follow the news on a project but be careful, many buy at signs of news and sell on or prior to the day of an event
8. Watch out for Bitcoin corrections, alts always follow, I prefer to sell back to BTC and buy at the dip when this happens
9. Always focus on SAT value over dollar value, if BTC pumps 10% and your SAT value goes down 5%, dollar value will still appear as profit, goal is to increase BTC holdings through increased SAT gains
10. Be realistic and understand price in relation to market cap and circulating supply, huge supply with a huge cap can appear "cheap" while a coin with a smaller supply and a low cap can appear more expensive, the market cap is your better indicator of room for growth.
This pretty much sums up what we need before investing in cryptocurrencies and I would add patience to the list because without it we can lose lots of money because fud seems to outweigh good news.

And of course do not invest more than what you are willing to lose.

Up
Have some patience my friend, bumping the thread won't expedite the process ....

Just as KWH said recovery could take as long as a couple of months , so just hang in there and hope for the best outcome.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 22, 2018, 05:42:27 PM
After participating in ICOs by buying some tokens or participating in bounties, the moment their tokens are listed in exchanges, what do you do guys, do you sell your tokens right away or wait for a more higher price to come?
What we bounty hunters forget is whales will always set a price lower than the ico price to lure all desperate hunters into selling their coins to them... which is why its better to monitor and wait for market to grow in atleast 6months to a couple of years before you can sell if you want good profits
According to statistics, about 90% of the coins after the ICO are losing their value. That is why it is so important to filter out the bad ones from the good ones.  If you are not convinced in the quality of the project it is better to sell the coin as soon as possible.
So true choosing the right coin is also the basic step to avoid selling lower than ico price.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is going to replace bitcoin? on: May 22, 2018, 01:16:44 PM
I believe crypto is not going away but it looks like in the near future bitcoin is going to be a afterthought.   What coins do you think have a chance at replacing it and being adopted for use?
The only answer that comes to my mind is government issued cryptocurrencies....why because they are the only potential replacement of bitcoin as they will also help torn down the volatility these first generation cryptos experience

274  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can change economic? on: May 22, 2018, 12:06:04 AM
We have seen Bitcoin and people's economic changes in the country. Do you know how Bitcoin is changing the economy? Do people believe that economic changes are possible by Bitcoin? And what will be the impact of Bitcoin economics in the future?

One problem i see cryptos fixing ia the ability to make people spend their money unlike fiat which hardly appreciates because of inflation and other tax reforms that force people to spend less and if people spend less an economy can not grow but thanks to cryptocurrencies people tend to spend more of their cryptos when prices hit a new all time high which directly contributes to a countries economic growth.

276  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-17] PayPal CFO Says Merchants Aren’t Interested in Crypto Due to Volati on: May 21, 2018, 10:01:46 PM
Its no surprise to me that this kind of backlash is coming from paypal....why dont they come clean and just tell us they will not be bring crypto to their services anytime soon because bitcoin is some sort of competitor to their business and offering btc payments as an option will certainly cut their commissions!

AFAIK If merchants were to know that the are less chargebacks and fraud cases when it comes to using cryptos they will certainly go crypto and never return to their paypal nightmares regardless of the volatility and this is the truth they are hiding.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the crypto market recover? on: May 21, 2018, 05:59:33 PM
All dreams have been shattered while the marketcap keeps falling every time I refresh coinmarketcap. I kept Hodling expecting it to be a small correction like the ones in 2017. Portfolio dropped more than 70% already  Cry and still dont see the bottom. Now I am wondering if it will recover to previous highs especially considering the China ban and regulations.  Cry Any thoughts?
Come on the year started with regulations being the top priority which negatively affected us and as we are half way through the year things are starting to get back to normal and am pretty sure once institutional investors start to pump in some of their millions into crypto most coins will ride this pump and I have a feeling the top 100 coins will be displaced and we shall have new entrants to this.
278  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BESTMIXER.IO - Truly Anonymous Bitcoin Mixer! on: May 21, 2018, 02:05:50 PM
I really like the pool system you have implemented its one of a kind, but why isn't this put on the mixing page so that

We know what service will suit our needs....

And when is Ethereum mixing going to go live, any ETA??
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH worth buying now or wait? on: May 18, 2018, 07:19:26 PM
I have been waiting to buy ETH for last 6 months. Is it good time to buy ETH or shall I wait more?
Within this 6 months Ethereum had given people an opportunity to buy low when it was around $300 and being among the top 100 coins

Very few coins ever drop this low and eth did give us the opportunity to buy lie but even now price is still low to buy more.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does bitcoin have value? on: May 18, 2018, 03:36:54 PM
this is easy, bitcoin has value because demand is there and regardless of the price people are aleays willing to spend some money to buy these crypto coins which has maintained its price and value  and not forgetting it being the first crypto automatically makes it the first choice for many people.
