261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash is the future IMO on: October 01, 2017, 05:29:09 AM
We view that the BTC blockchain slowing down radically as mass approval carries on, finance institutions won't accept that slow block-chain once they are able to utilize the BCH block-chain that's substantially faster. I am very long in BCH.

Nobody can ever predict the future...you can be right that eventually Bitcoin can be replaced by BitcoinCash or maybe there would be another new cryptocurrency that would kick them both or maybe Bitcoin will continue on its reign as the supreme and the number one cryptocurrency making all other contenders to be just alternative coins.

I have no problem if ever it will be BCH who can take the lead...basically I really don't care as we can all make some adjustments but for now it is not yet happening and personally I don't see why it would be happening that way. There would be another hard fork coming in November which can give birth to another daughter to be named Bitcoin Gold. we don't know how will this another split coin from Bitcoin would be performing but let's give it a chance the same thing we did to BCH.

As for me nothing can still replace Bitcoin and you know it, right?

My bets are on Litecoin being used for most day to day transactions, BTC will be the digital gold used for high value transactions only, won't need the speed, focus on security. The BTC forks will die slowm deaths

I don't actually get what you are trying to tell but i guess LTC today is now underrated. It is one of the oldest crypto currency today yet its progress is still stagnant. Btc is for any transaction as long as you pay certain fee then it is fast and reliable. Btc forks are made to upgrade the blocks for ease of the miners and other deeper explanation but fork doesnt necessarily means the downfall of bitcoin.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You know what the real problem is..? on: September 30, 2017, 11:05:10 AM
Well because is becoming 2nd to usa as a most powerful republic in the world. Even in olympics they are in competition. Because there are even speculation that china is aiming to become the central trade in the world. But there are issues that china cant really adjust and people dont want to learn english as the most used language for transaction.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is paying for Steemit? on: September 30, 2017, 10:42:25 AM
They pay them in Steem, and you can sell your Steem for dollars, but to who? Who wants to get Steem instead of dollars? Does Steemit buy it back from you? With witch money? Or can you sell it to people who want to have more voting power? Or?

What do you mean by to who ? To any exchanges that deals with the token !
For any token in the world , you'll find people on exchanges who are buying and selling it to benefit from price changes. Steemit doesn't buy anything back from you.

Just take a look at Bittrex for example. You'll surely find it there. Register an account and deposit STEEM and sell them for bitcoins. I guess you're brand new into crypto. There's millions of coins and tokens that can be traded there.

Here is the link to STEEM market on bittrex. :https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-steem

Note: I have no idea if people actually got paid out from it or not as I recently joined it and the nearest payout is supposed to be in 2 days (not a big amount just $5). When that happens I'll report back here.

To add, STEEM has a cetain reputation to each members, the higher the reputation the more likely you can upvote a certain topic there. To get reputation means you should have many followers and to get followers, you should have a good content that the members of STEEM society would like and if they liked it, they can upvote it with dollar. There are already members with more than 500 followers and that is enough for them to earn something in steem power. They already have conversion there so you can see your steem power in dollars. I am just a member in steem i only have 110 followers and i have the dollars but that is for privacy.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: tax on: September 30, 2017, 09:50:58 AM
Bitcoins are really the first digital currency that was created in this manner and actually have a significant value in relation to other currencies. Essentially it is somewhat uncharted territory. Literally bitcoins, and even digital currencies are so new, that there is little to no precedent for some aspects of bitcoin mining, from a tax perspective.
Since Bitcoins are currently traded in various online marketplaces, when someone receives a Bitcoin, they can reasonably calculate it’s value in the local currency. Because of this, it is possible that the taxing authority will treat the receipt of a Bitcoin through a mining pool, or from an individual mining operation, as a taxable event. At that time, the taxpayer would be required to estimate the value of the Bitcoins in dollars and record that amount. This would have to be done either daily or weekly depending on the value of the Bitcoins if their value keeps fluctuating as much as it has the past few weeks. These amounts would be recorded as revenue from bitcoin mining operations and would be taxable less allowed expenses.

I think government are making way to tax bitcoin of it is a virtual currency. If most of the people of state would invest in bitcoin, the government would lose money and it would tend to go to just certain people who invested. I mean if a person gets the government would have no idea of how much he is earning because they cant track. It easy to make money transfer to avoid track of how much a person is worth. But as long as that person would at least invest IRL in his own state then the money would not be taken out of his own state.

Shouldn't be better if you have your own site at this? What kind of transaction would it be if you send the btc?.  I guess i would be watching and observing this thread also.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First China Now South Korea on: September 29, 2017, 09:03:03 AM
What should we do keep your bitcoin, sell it, or buy more?

now because I am a little skeptic, but I can see that there is no decreasing value of the the BTC... Huh

Well China is not banning bitcoin but the exchanges and the ICO's. Chinese exchanges failed to comply with the requirements set by the government to operate thus they need to close. South Korea on the other hand if you look at this article "https://qz.com/1090437/bitcoin-btc-and-ethereum-eth-prices-fall-on-south-koreas-bans-on-initial-coin-offerings-icos/" it is not bitcoin that they are banning but ICO's. This will affect the ethereum market and waves but it will not affect bitcoin. But the present threat to bitcoins price deflation is the possible banning of Bitcoin in Russia. The law is not yet out but they said the decision will be out on October whether they will ban bitcoin or not.

And i read it just temporary depending on some upcoming election in China. And people are really putting some blame on china itself because china really did ban it without the real perspective of the news. I think even if ethereum and wave is affected, there is a chance that bitcoin is still affected in a good way. More investment would go to bitcoin if eth and waves would also go down.
268  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Taxes on bitcoin? on: September 29, 2017, 08:03:09 AM
There would not be any taxes as the transaction will take place in private and there is no involvement of authorities and the government. It would be great if you find a buyer who is ready to pay such huge amount in the bitcoins.
Yeah,as you said there is no taxes on the transactionof bitcoins. But you need to pay the taxes while you earn income from investing bitcoin as the investment. The most common and diplomatically safe assumption, at this point in time, is that bitcoin trade is a business, and just like any business, income tax needs to be paid on the profit made from buying and selling of this virtual currency

Maybe the only time that the government could actually tax bitcoin is when it is converted to fiat money that the bank has been notified that there is a transaction made from a wallet address. That is the only i could see that the government could actually make some tax in bitcoin transactions. Because right now even if i transfer money to a bank, no charge that the money i sent like 5k stays the same amount after it was received in my credit card.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin phased out on: September 29, 2017, 07:25:45 AM
to replace bitcoin in my opinion may happen, but it is very difficult and little chance to happen, because we understand that bitcoin is the first digital currency ever created and also as the mother of coin, and I think bitcoin is still number one and never doubted.

Each crypto has their own unique ways and even if their is such that is created it should be recognize as its own and not just 2nd bitcoin. And i dont think the aim of any other coin that has been created is to overstep bitcoin but rather just to extend their services using there own currency as a business opportunity by the help of the blockchain.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Scammed in a bounty campaign on: September 29, 2017, 07:03:14 AM
Unfortunately, participants in bounty campaigns can do nothing, if they don't receive their tokens.
Participants should be cautious before they join a bounty campaign, after they been scammed, they can do nothing. Participants in bounty campaigns spend their time which is as valuable as the money investors spend.

Agreed , because before we participate a bounty , we must know , predict and choose their product can success or not. its hard , if participants scammed by a bounty project , we cant do anything , we not received anything. and just can think never got a bounty project like this.  Cheesy

The only Bounty that i joined that actually released there coin that i experienced was suncontract. I joined twitter campaign and received a token. It was really long term and luckily it was not anyone of those schemes. Also NVO was successful but i did not buy there token. We just have to be alert on the information they are writing for the community.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LuckyGames now accepts STEEM! Deposit from your Steemit anonymously and fast! on: September 29, 2017, 06:51:08 AM
OH great. Steem is becoming more than just a social media. How much is the minimum Steempower to be deposited? or directly converted to dollars?
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Korea Gov. will ban all kinds of ICO on: September 29, 2017, 05:53:22 AM
No one care, Korean and Chinese volumes are fake and it not going to change much, price wise.

I too do not care but let's not forget that china is one of the major miners in blockchain in which why the price went down extremely. I know that now is different because it is slowly rising to 4k China's lose in btc is still a big rollback in the history of blockchain. But btc is gaining better supporters and we small traders dont really feel the change but for millionaires who invested in btc, they must've had issues to deal.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Trading Truly Profitable on: September 29, 2017, 05:45:36 AM
My style of altcoin investment is i use fiat money to buy btc then i trade it any altcoin just for safe keeping and wait until any of these altcoin will increase in price even just for 10 dollars. But right now its rare for altcoins to increase at such price. I would try to maintain lookout for the altcoins i have traded.

I like how you made an image of how satoshi would like and a bubble head.

I guess the question since when did cryptocurrency really start?. Exact day in what year? Whose team did crypturrency first?
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to store ICO tokens? on: September 29, 2017, 03:35:50 AM
usually people use myetherwallet wallet to store their tokens,

That is the most common and i think wallet depends on what platform the ICO is based from. Right now almost all are with ETH so etherwallet is common and i would suggest other but it could just lead to confusion.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are there no bounty signature campaigns for newbies? on: September 28, 2017, 02:27:00 PM
Well if you would have business, would you want local men advertise you business? Sometimes we need higher people or more professional people to advertise our campaign and that is the same in the ranking or the accounts and the status of the trust on a user.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Bitcoin Fork: BitcoinGold. GPU Mining on: September 28, 2017, 01:59:22 PM
Is it backed by physical gold? If not, why call it BitcoinGold?

Dude they just named it like that for identification. Bitcoin cash was not backed up by anything nor cash. It is just term for new coins that would be made out of bitcoin by the management of blockchain.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum - Britains first crypto opinion on: September 28, 2017, 01:43:36 PM
So it is just now that Britain has its own currency? I guess they took so long to issue that since the split of its nation. Well i guess monarch would try to have there own blockchain too just like ETH. If that would happen then it could be the next country that has there own that is recognize around the world market?.
279  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: September 26, 2017, 02:58:01 AM
Bitcoin prices plunged from $4900 to $3300 withing pan of few days. Now some news-points from bitcoin world are claiming this price plunge was planned. Check following links:

https://news.bitcoin.com/after-the-boss-calls-bitcoin-a-fraud-jp-morgan-buys-the-dip/
http://btc-flow.in/2017/09/16/after-the-boss-calls-bitcoin-a-fraud-jp-morgan-buys-the-dip/
http://btc-flow.in/2017/09/16/after-the-boss-calls-bitcoin-a-fraud-jp-morgan-buys-the-dip/

Now without going into whether above claims are true or not, my concern is "Isn't this is the right time to enter the bitcoin market or purchase few more". There is definite signs of improvement in the bitcoin price market. Current price is around $3757. It is quite possible to see bitcoin back to 4k to 5k or more. Given biggest players from finance sector are eying this lucrative market.
What do you think, is this is right time to buy some more bitcoins or wait and watch?

This is the best time to enter to the world of cryptocurrency. This year (2017), the Cryptocurrency is became more popular in this year because many people are advertising different ICO and especially the bitcoins.

There will also some events that is will elevate the price of btc in the next month or this month. There are still fews countries who is willing to adopt btc like china did when it was the center of mining.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos in Real Estate on: September 26, 2017, 02:11:35 AM
I like the idea of cryptocurrencies in real estate, ideally Bitcoin, because of it's security. Bitcoin is a network and a currency. The blockchain is the network and it acts as a universally public ledger that can never be changed so this is great for real estate.

Well i guess it has to go through legislative firms and even judiciary because it would be easy for bitcoin as it is a virtual currency. A lot of processing and politics involve if it were to become like that
