281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam? on: September 26, 2017, 01:23:20 AM
Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.

99% of ICOs are designed for one purpose only - and that is to enrich the creator(s). In other words, yes, most of them are scams.

However, there are plenty of legit ICOs out there too. You just need to be very careful about which ones you choose to invest in. Do a lot of research in terms of the development team, whitepaper, road-map, etc. to gauge how successful you think it will be and then decide.

I guess from my observations, an ICO really is going to be great depending on how much the invested spent on advetising and the uniqueness of its platform. A lot now a days are appearing and it seems its hard to recognize whats scam or not. Keen obervations and reading really is a good style to figure it out.

283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Coming War Between Digital Currencies on: September 25, 2017, 10:56:33 AM
The truth that I am still a newbie towards this Cryptocurrencies, but after engaging and reading more in the forum, I have seen that there is no such war between different Cryptos but the unity in each and every one of them, they have all common features and I think there are common goals between each and everyone of them, so in my perspective there is no enemy or ally but a symbiosis of each and every cryptos.

I guess we all started as a newbie. And it is common for them ask around. But i guess its not termed as war because they dont technically go against each other. but each has its own strategy to attract users and it is in us to utilize or not there services.
284  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign and Reward on: September 23, 2017, 08:16:44 AM
Yes. I know it's easy for long time members to get 1 btc in the past years unlike now that it will take much longer to achieve.

Yes for example in 2013 and most of the 2014 signature campaign were payed per post and it was very easy to have almost 1 BTC per month back then, then there were so many spamming cuz of that and it was then started to ban for 1 week 2 weeks and so on.

Now with this high price dont think that even campaign managers can make 1 BTC a month even with 5-6 campaign think that this is now extremely hard. Only possible option that i could think but that is also hard is to have several alt account and that 1 be based on btc earning and rest on alt i mean ICOs and then if you got lucky to get some.

It's not fair with other members from those who had farmed account, because it violating the rules in every campaigns here. We should not aim that so fast just for that 1 btc, maybe you could save those btc you have and it served as your investments for further funds growth if price of bitcoin will increase for next few months.

Well its because its becoming mainstream that most campaigns will become scam. But from what i see today, a lot of ICO are appearing almost everyday, so its quite shady for them because its not always that people will invest in every good platform that they would see in the forum.
But still there many in the forum doing this against rules and regulations of joining signature campaign. I noticed in Norbonne campaign manger strictly announced that he will taken out the alt account users from the campaign. Try to be skillful to earn bitcoins not with the alt account guys.

285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: scammers in bounty programs; what do they deserve? on: September 23, 2017, 08:07:19 AM
not everyone involved in bounty can follow and complete their work, because of many factors;
1. his project campaigns are numerous
2. busyness in real life
so I think the only rules in the campaign that can prevent scammers
what rules, for instance?? you mean it is just fine?
dude! bounties pay someone for his or her precious time and sincere efforts which they offer. It needs not someone to spend all the day watching a project(in which they have taken part). just get online once a day to complete your tasks. how long may it take? 2 or 3 hours!
consider it as part time work.

Well its because its becoming mainstream that most campaigns will become scam. But from what i see today, a lot of ICO are appearing almost everyday, so its quite shady for them because its not always that people will invest in every good platform that they would see in the forum.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin can be used in gambling. Is it possible to use it casino? on: September 23, 2017, 07:18:07 AM
I have no idea if casino will ever accept bitcoin as exchange for chips that is used in gambling.
I see no reason why they can't and even if they don't why not try online casinos as there are lots of them now accepting bitcoin and you are free to gamble it all the way. You can check google to find some good ones with quite a lovely number of reviews and give them a try to find one that suits you best. I know of crypto-games and I have heard some good stuffs about them.
they will not as they do not take currency with unknown transaction,i have tried to ask them but they replied unless government of particular countries will legalize it they will not use it or there some illegal casino gambling where they can easily take bitcoin or any other physical asset as a currency so that they can offer there own chips/currency to gamble.

It's kind of illegal also to make transactions with some unknown because always they would use fiat money to have something to count on how much is going in or our in there casinos.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on cryptocurrencies prices on: September 23, 2017, 06:13:17 AM
Hello,

I'm looking for the bitcoin/litecoin binary options betting website. On this kind of websites you can bet what the price of for example bitcoin will be in 3 or 5 minutes. Can you recommend any?

Thanks!

I think that there are many websites like that available online though most of the sites I know have already been posted by other people. I think that it is also good that you are exploring other sites what i can only offer is that you also have to see the reputation of the sote and if it legitimate.

I think it would be predictable what ever the outcome is because almost all prices are based on how bitcoin is progressing or diminishing. Even if there is, it wont last longer because of how it can be predictable.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what's the future of bitoin in china ? on: September 23, 2017, 05:23:39 AM
I heard  the news that currently 90% launched projects in ICO platforms have been basically checked and returned in Shanghai, relevant Bitcoin virtual currency exchanges also proposed plan for quitting and started related work for customers’ funds and assets.
SO ,what do you think about Bitcoin' future  in china?
I would like go hear some opinions

What communist government with a capitalist heart would accept its citizens becoming rich without spending a single cent in their national banks where they can take fees to enlarge the capital of its members, possibly only be a prohibition from the Chinese government to be able to take over of all bitcoin market in China.

I guess even if the government banned Transactions. Some of its users there did not really give up on btc. I mean they must have use overseas transaction to proceed in there accounts.
289  Economy / Economics / Re: Could bitcoin be the next gold? Here are the arguments (bloomberg.com) on: September 21, 2017, 03:50:02 AM
I think bitcoin can not change the gold. because gold is so valuable, then gold is hard find. Then bitcoin is easy to find, so he cannot change the. Thats the reason why he can not change the gold.

Gold has a lot of use in IRL in thats just it is. They are different assets and even different purposes. They are in different realm i suppose. Bitcoin may not be the leading mineral out there but its the most mined IRL same as btc in cyrptocurrency.
290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For Early Adopter of Bitcoin - Share Your Thought on: September 21, 2017, 03:39:15 AM
I started with bitcoins in 2015 and I can say that it has changed significantly. There are many people who are rich here and there is no problem with money. Just like I was very poor at those times I really needed money, But I did not put it in money. What I did was collecting it and as a result I had accumulated about 6 BTC and I just kept it down. Occasionally I release a bit because it really needs money. I stopped at bitcoins and just let my Bitcoins, Now I just came back and I was surprised at the change. and I can say the value of my bitcoins is huge

I dont if its 2015 too but i am earning btc back when it was still at 600$. The most prominent altcoin out there was litecoin and dogecoin then there comes ETH. Who in today was a lot succesful than any of those coins.
291  Economy / Speculation / Re: is this the bear market? or is this just fantasy? on: September 21, 2017, 02:41:08 AM
These dumps keeps coming day after day, btc holding "OK" so far, but is this still all about china? or are we now in the long bear market since 5000 usd?

edit: also people keep talking about this being the best time to buy when prices are low, but in a free market, the concept of "best time" and "low" are relative.

anyone putting absolute bottom below 2200?

Well another round of news saying that China is going after bitcoin mining farms now, so its possibility that what we are seeing are dumps because of the "news", fake or not. I don't see the absolute bottom below $2200, although I feel that it can go further at $2300-2400. Well good buying point is relative, but of course we always love to buy when we see the price floor.  Just like last week before the recovery begun, the price bottom at around $2800-$2900 before reaching $4000 again.

And that only happened in a span of 2 weeks. So i am really intrigued on how the price of btc is actually developing. A lot could happen in just 1 week. So you can either have big profit in 1 week or wait for weeks or so to have an actual profit.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: Five common mistakes made by Bitcoin users on: September 21, 2017, 02:18:44 AM
i dont't know why i must Leave all my  money in the electronic money floor can you explain more
Did you mean "must" is supposed to be a must not?
To answer your question, my opinion on this is is that "electronic money floor" refers to your electronic wallet? Or maybe the BTC platform for trading. Let us admit that electronic platform can be quite unstable and unsecured due to malwares or computer viruses that may hack up our system and may potentially get what's stored in our wallet. I do hope that BTC systems will enhance their security features so that threats like this will be eliminated.
Anyways, I don't think that storing it up in "electronic money floor" is a big mistake but rather a risk that you have to take just like investing in a normal stock market. Bigger risks is bigger return.

Bigger money means being meticulously picky on any wallet that you would want to intrust ur money so i wont really blame people if they sometimes are not sure on where to store there wallet so lets just leave it at is and give them advices.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin - Can it boost or break a countries economy? on: September 21, 2017, 01:57:36 AM
After reading the replies of everyone. Most of them say it can boost a countries economy and I agree with them because there will be a certain point where we'll cash out some of our bitcoin to fiat so that we can buy the goods that we need as a result that will increase the demand in our country. I see bitcoin doing more good than harm in a country thats just my opinion.

Well it is tax free overall and everyone can use btc. But the is offcouse government cant really control it if its within there vicinity but it is till good oppurtunity for citizens to have some money without the government interfering.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: September 21, 2017, 01:41:25 AM
No, This is myth, You can see what is happening around,
China is not a part of bitcoin right now
Chinese aren't the owner of bitcoins neither they can control it. China have a market with much crypto currency but its not mean they're the owner of everything. We can still survive without China. I really feel pity for china as they making moves to abandon bitcoins. On the other hand if they had thought positive about bitcoins, by this time they could be the ruler in bitcoin world. They are surely missing their chances here.
I agree with you, Bitcoin is still alive and growing.

Not entirely cause somehow bitcoin should at least have someone or another country to at least make huge impact for the btc. China is a major issue for the btc and until september 30. It still undecided how btc would actually proceed.
295  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bearish market over. on: September 16, 2017, 01:16:29 PM
bitcoin will drop to 3000 another time ...and will drop to 1500----2200 another time too
i don't agree with you. it will start to raise again. and it will break its all time high again. there is no reason for 1500-2000$

Still, all present issues are not resolved and markets are running on some good and bad news so anything can possible. It can cross all time high also or it can even go below 2000 as well. If some other country stop trading cryptocurrencies for some reason then prices can go down a lot. Short term investor better stay away and jump in only if you're ready for long term.

I cant say that countries will stop trading btc cause if some countries are making profit via btc then certainly there are chances that others would also adopt the btc. I mean regulation might be the issue for the government but they got to also elevate there economy even it means having btc on there income also.
296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading? on: September 16, 2017, 01:09:20 PM
Go participate in any Crowd sale and wait until there release but its gonna be a long term or, buy some btc in exchange sites but there is always a risk if you are willing to take.
297  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is down on: September 16, 2017, 12:32:18 PM
ya i saw the price chart the price had fallen by really high numbers firstly i couldn't figure what happened but my felow members informed me that it was because china was banning all the exchanges in their country. I do see the price is rising back now i hope this continues for long

I am very confident that we are going to survive the challenges that we're having right and bitcoin will eventually gain it's higher value again. Currently the price is recovering if you will have to check the latest price updates.
there is already a nice thing when looking at bitcoin prices in various exchanges. it seems like bitcoin has begun to forget the impact of the decision in china. other than that the market also responds quite well so now the price of bitcoin slowly began to increase. the volume is increasing and we have to wait until the bitcoin price is back at 5000 $. hopefully .

How amazing that i noticed that in just 2 days the price played around 2000$ increase went back up to 800$. Damn it china really did made an impact on the price but slowly it has increased again.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin can be used in gambling. Is it possible to use it casino? on: September 16, 2017, 11:45:38 AM
Bitcoin has been used to almost anything that is on the web. But i guess if you are refering to casino in the physical world then that would be crazy because i think fiat money is used in almost all games.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: F**K Chinese BTC on: September 16, 2017, 11:14:42 AM
Probably there are already people who took advantage and bought btc during that issue on chinese. AS one of those who actually risked buying even with small anxiety. It was worth it because in just 12 hours, it increased to at least 800$.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My conspiracy theory about CHINA...what is yours? on: September 16, 2017, 07:56:48 AM
1.  I think China want to temporarily crash the market so they can collect more BTC (and other coins dirt cheap) before announcing that they are officially adopting.  At that point BTC (and other crypto) will sky rocket.

2. They don't want their citizens to trade cryptocurrency and earn (relatively easily) in fear of losing their cheap labor force.  They will then try to make it as difficult as possible for it to flourish in their country.

Which is it???
could be, because China is very insistent in terms of economic development of their country and their main enemy is the United States

I dont know about it but china is actually the biggest entity to at least comment that btc is a big scheme and they called it stupid. Well its not china but the Blockchain china said that. But after the latest price increase, it would prove that even that country cant really make a big impact on an organized virtual currency.
